Two people are missing, feared dead after a fierce fire burnt down a rural house near Bundaberg. Scientific investigators have been sent from Brisbane with the blaze being treated as suspicious.

00:02A steel frame and charred remains burnt beyond recognition are all that's left of the property
00:08at Goodnight west of Bundaberg. It's feared the elderly residents may have been inside.
00:15One is a 75-year-old male and the other one is a 79-year-old woman.
00:20The home, known as Frogmore Cottage, caught fire on Saturday evening and quickly went up in flames.
00:28The police attended along with the other emergency services including the fire brigade.
00:32Unfortunately the house was too well inflamed and there was very little that people could do about that at that
00:39point in time.
00:40Investigators only gained access today to parts of the home.
00:44The collapsed roof needs to be removed before it's safe to enter the rest.
00:49So we've got scientific officers who have arrived from Brisbane.
00:52They have been using drone equipment to get an aerial view of what's going on.
00:58We can also use that footage to zoom in on certain parts of the house.
01:01As they work to determine the cause of the fire and where it started.
01:06Police expect the property will remain a crime scene for at least another two days.
01:12They're appealing for anyone with information that could assist their investigation to come forward.
