00:00One of my favorite little flourishes are all the needle drops at the end of the episodes
00:03that kind of set a tone that's really kind of fun and ominous.
00:07I'm curious why you chose to end every episode with those rock and roll songs,
00:11and did you have a particular favorite needle drop?
00:14I mean, classic film, classic rock, right?
00:17I think that, you know, literally in the movie Aliens, Vasquez yells, let's rock.
00:24Let's rock!
00:25I didn't go into the filming planning to do that,
00:29but as I got into the editorial process, each episode kind of ends on a cliffhanger,
00:36and, you know, what I'm looking for is to make an arena show, right?
00:43It's something that feels bigger than a small theater.
00:48It's an arena show, and so, you know, I started to put these songs in at the end,
00:54these big classic metal or hard rock songs.
00:57You know, there's a Queens of the Stone Age track in there later on that's really great.
01:05You know, it's a feeling, right?
01:06I'm just trying to create a big feeling in the audience, you know,
01:10as the episodes end and you realize that you have to wait another week to see it,
01:14but it's a celebration of what you've watched before and throwing you into the future.
