00:00Talking about that love, I want to talk about maybe two related moments with the Utah dirt.
00:04First, when she's trying to, like, talk to Bronski with the face hugger in the cryotube.
00:08She's pouring this dirt on him, saying we'll be home soon.
00:11And then later, when everything is going to hell, she just takes it all out and pours it into her hands.
00:30Are we supposed to intimate that she's from Utah? Is he from Utah? What does that mean to her?
00:35Can you take me through those two scenes and what's going through her mind?
00:38I think it's her soil that she brought home with her. I'm sorry, brought on the on the mission with her from home.
00:43And I think that, you know, they discussed it, that when they get back, they just want to live a simple, quiet life together in Utah and just grow plants and vegetables together and not go to space anymore.
00:56It was a really beautiful moment. Both the moments, I think the first time when you see her pouring it, it's, you know, she's she's, you know, telling him we're going to be home soon, like hang in there.
01:07And then the second time she does it, I think it's she that's the moment she realizes that, you know, everyone's dying and she's she's failed.
01:15She wanted to protect her crew and she failed in doing that. That's the moment she thinks that nothing is going to go well.
01:20That's probably the end for all of them. So I think that's her her way of having closure and saying goodbye.
