00:00Well, I want to jump right into it. We saw the fourth wall get broken a couple of times in the

00:05premiere of Beyond the Villa. First, when Kenny stopped Janae from outing Liv's new man, and then

00:09Liv asked the cameras not to film her. What was this reality TV experience like compared to Love

00:15Island? And did you find that you had to filter yourselves more now that you're in the public eye

00:20so much? That's a really good question. I feel like, yes, I think, like, let's be real, like,

00:27going into Love Island, we felt like, I mean, we didn't have anything really to lose or like,

00:32like, we didn't really have any, I don't know, right? Am I? Yeah, we didn't really have anything

00:37to lose. So I guess now going into this, we have a lot to lose. But I think just being real and

00:42authentic is why people want to watch us. So just being you is the best way to be. I don't know,

00:49did I answer that question? Right? I'd say it was a year since we had been on camera before. So it

00:54does take some time to just get used to used to it. But honestly, people, people love us for who

01:00we are. And I think that's who we showed on the show. Kenny, you and Janae did not live together

01:06while filming, but you did live in apartments right next to each other. Why aren't Kenny and I living

01:11together? I feel like we should ask Kenny that question. There's some hair in here. This is the

01:17first time we're living in the same city. We're here in LA. It's important for me to just have my space.

01:21Kenny got the apartment right next door. How did that work? Would you guys just go to your

01:27respective apartments at the end of the night? Did you find yourself spending more time in one

01:31than the other? You know, how was that? Yeah. Yeah. So we lived right next to each other. Her

01:37apartment was more of the tidy, like I call it a library because it's just so clean. Whereas my

01:43apartment, we had the dog in my apartment that we fostered. And so we spent, you know, our nights,

01:51we had slow mornings in my apartment. And, you know, she'd go to her apartment for like glam and

01:57all and everything else. And so it was nice being in the same city, being in her presence. Like this

02:04was the longest that we had been together, I think, without a break. And I think our relationship

02:09blossomed for sure. Kayla, it was a big moment when you and Aaron reunited in the premiere episode.

02:15Well, I don't know if we could be friends, but cordial, yeah. Yeah, civil. Yeah, cordial.

02:20Her mom actually asked her, do you think if you met in the street that it would have worked out?

02:25And she just said, I don't know. We never met in the street. We met on a national television show.

02:29I want to ask you something his mom asked him. If you and Aaron had met on the street and not on

02:34Love Island, do you think you guys would have worked out?

02:37Um, I will second Aaron's answer. I don't think I could answer that question because we didn't. We

02:43met on a reality show. And I think a lot of people need to like keep that in mind. Like,

02:48I mean, we weren't set up to meet each other, but we kind of were. So it's kind of it's way

02:54different. And I don't really know. I don't even think I mean, we're from different countries. So I

02:58don't even think I would run into him in the streets here in the in the US. So yeah, I second him

03:03on his answer. I can't really answer it. Well, Aaron did make a comment about how the cast is

03:07segregated into clicks based on how many followers everyone has, and suggested that everyone is a

03:13little different now than they were when they first came in. You know, do you guys agree with that? And

03:17how would you say you've personally changed over the last year? Um, I actually disagree with that.

03:23Um, I will say, I mean, hey, Leah has so many followers, and she's still the same person that I've

03:30known and met in the villa. So I'm not really sure what Aaron means by that. And also,

03:35we were only with Aaron for a short period of time for this second project. So I actually would

03:40love to ask him that question myself and what he meant by that because I feel like Aaron doesn't

03:45even really know me if that makes sense or any, I don't know, I feel like he doesn't really have

03:49a close relationship with the girls or anyone to really make that comment. So that comment was an

03:54interesting one. And yeah, maybe we'll have a reunion and we can ask him. Yeah.

03:58Um, well, Kenny, I thought you handled that conversation with Connor like a pro.

04:02I got asked questions. And I feel like at some point, I just said something and I wasn't

04:06thinking. And in the villa, you could have been more honest. Bro, it's been a year. There

04:12was a window where, you know, you own up to it or like maybe apologize, whatever.

04:16We know how Janae feels about him. But what was it like for you to be in the same room as

04:20a guy who was previously coupled up with your girlfriend? How do you navigate that?

04:23Um, obviously, I had conversations with Janae prior. I think not that awkward is a word, but

04:33I really, I really don't like there to be hostility or animosity towards anyone. I really like just

04:40to have everything put out there. And so I think that's why I addressed him and I addressed

04:46the situation, just understanding where he's coming from. I know where Janae's at and where

04:51her mind is at. And so understanding his point of view as well, I felt was important for me

04:56to get just a clearer picture as to, you know, why and where the situation was at. So yeah,

05:02I'm glad I addressed it at the party.
