00:03Big season this season. A lot going on.
00:06Yeah.
00:07How did you feel going into your sophomore season?
00:11I was a little apprehensive.
00:12I was coming off of the heels of the reunion, which was pretty traumatic for me.
00:17So, you know, I didn't even know if I was going to do another season or be asked to do another season.
00:22And going into the second, I was like, you know, I'm going to do this for me.
00:25I'm going to prove to myself that I'm strong enough to do this.
00:27And I'm going to try to speak up more for myself and voice my opinion.
00:30And I really was hoping to get to know these women a little bit more, you know, to form some real friendships.
00:35And I was saying how much I'd like to see Kylie on a Next Gen installment, spin off something.
00:41Is that something you could see for her?
00:43Absolutely.
00:44She actually really wants to do it.
00:46She was approached by a casting company that also casts for Next Gen.
00:50And so she mentioned it to my husband and I.
00:52We were like, you should do it if they ask you to do it.
00:54She'd be great.
00:55That would be amazing.
00:55I think she'd kill it.
00:56Yeah.
00:57She'd be amazing.
00:57Yeah, I would love to see it.
00:59Well, I want to jump into this season.
01:01I want to get your full side on things uninterrupted, everything.
01:06On Watch What Happens Live, Emily defended her decision to bring up your custody situation at the reunion, despite saying kids are off limits.
01:14You see how it's hypocritical to say you have boundaries in regards to children when you brought up Katie's custody situation from years prior at the reunion.
01:21No, I can, to me, it's a huge difference.
01:24I brought it up to her face at a reunion when we're supposed to be opinionated, take accountability for things.
01:30And I had issues with her back story.
01:32It wasn't about her children.
01:33It was about her and things that she had told us.
01:35And I wanted her to clarify things.
01:37What's your response to that?
01:39You know, at the finale last season, we agreed kids were off limits.
01:43And then we went into the reunion, and she then brought up my custody and legal battles.
01:48Started our custody battle almost 11 years ago.
01:51And I think that giving up legal and physical custody at the time was the best decision for my kids.
01:56For you to lose both physical and legal custody as well, that's the part that doesn't make sense to me.
02:01At the time, I was literally homeless with three kids.
02:04We had nowhere to go.
02:06That was horrible, horrible time.
02:09I'm sorry, Andy.
02:10And so I was like, well, I thought we agreed kids were off limits.
02:12So then my daughter did the podcast.
02:15And so that's how this kind of tornado started of kids, no kids, kids, no kids.
02:19I also don't agree that just because you say it to my face makes it okay to talk about the hardest point of my life
02:25when having to choose to give up custody was doing the right thing for my kids.
02:31I feel like that that was just trying to paint me in a really bad light when I was really actually doing something in the best interest of them.
02:36And for a woman to say that to another woman who went through a hard time, that's not okay.
02:41Tamara, you know, she also accused you of spreading information through bloggers.
02:45And I know some of the bloggers have come out with their own stuff.
02:48You blocked me from Instagram.
02:49So I said, you don't know why I blocked you?
02:52There was this content creator that was putting stories out there that I ran these troll accounts.
02:59So I went on Instagram and I said, what you're saying is a lie and you will hear from my attorney.
03:04So Katie reached out to the girl.
03:09Can you clarify what went on there?
03:12What happened?
03:13Sure.
03:15One of the bloggers, the main one, messaged me because she was potentially going to be sued by Tamara.
03:21She had posted something that Tamara was running a blogger account that trolled people.
03:26And so she posted about it without even knowing if it was true or not.
03:29And Tamara messaged her, I'm going to sue you.
03:31I'm going to seek legal action or whatever.
03:33And so the girl is freaking out, saying Tamara's going to sue me.
03:36So I called her on Instagram, forgetting that that even happened.
03:40It was so insignificant.
03:41And told her, you know, you're going to be okay.
03:43She's not going to sue you.
03:44But I think you should take the post down for your mental health.
03:47I think you should take it down.
03:48And that's how it went.
03:50I was being very kind and very open with this woman.
03:52And I didn't know she would want 15 minutes of fame and come back later for it.
03:56I want to get into Videogate.
03:58Everything going on here.
04:00Because I feel like there's been a lot of he said, she said.
04:02There's been a lot of yelling so we don't get to hear the full everything that happens.
04:07How dare you record...
04:09So I sued you for $75,000 back to people?
04:12No, you recorded me and sent it to that.
04:16I went to hell last year.
04:21But what was happening to you from John and Alexis was not my fault.
04:25You are in their category.
04:27No, I'm not!
04:28So can you take me through that promo shoot?
04:30What happened?
04:31Sure.
04:31Why did you record, Shannon?
04:33Well, first let me say it's not a video.
04:34It's a voice memo.
04:37We were all having our gallery shoot right after we got back from London.
04:41And Shannon and I were not friends.
04:42She actually really disliked me because I was friends with Alexis.
04:45So we were in a shared space.
04:47It was Jen, me, and Shannon's teams were getting our hair and makeup done.
04:51Shannon showed up a few hours late, two or three hours late, and was talking with production
04:56on a speakerphone, yelling and screaming and disrupted the entire room.
05:00I, being on a Zoom call, my husband was on the Zoom call because he is a part of my business
05:05with investors and other business partners.
05:09And I abruptly hung up because it was so loud, even in my earbuds, that I couldn't hear.
05:13And my husband texted me like, what's going on?
05:15And I said, this is what's going on.
05:16And I voice noted him what was happening.
05:19And I've tried to move on from it.
05:21I've tried to apologize.
05:22I have accepted that I did it and that it was wrong.
05:25And she just can't hear me.
05:26Tamara knew about the recording for almost a year before she decided to share it with everyone.
05:31Imagine the things that she's done that we don't know about.
05:33Well, here's the thing.
05:35Last year, Katie was filming Shannon having a full-blown meltdown at our gallery shoot.
05:43How?
05:44Why do you think she sat on it for so long?
05:46That's a good question.
05:47I don't know.
05:48And that's kind of what the point I was trying to get across from her.
05:50Like, if you wanted to bring this up, I wish you would have brought it up at a more appropriate
05:53time and not at a lunch where I was feeling like I was trying for the ladies to get to
05:57know me a little bit more and me to get to know them.
06:00And instead, it just spiraled.
06:02That whole thing shocked me with Shannon, you know, at Heather's birthday party.
06:06What surprised you the most from that conversation with her?
06:10I think her level surprised me.
06:13I've said to her, you know, you're allowed to be angry.
06:15You're not allowed to be disrespectful.
06:16And calling me more evil than John Jansen and Alexis, I did not share it with Alexis.
06:24Alexis has not heard it.
06:25The only person that's heard it and doesn't even remember what it says is my husband.
06:28And it's so insignificant, I really forgot about it, honestly.
06:32Shannon and I, that was April of 2024.
06:34We became friends the end of 2024.
06:36She finally started to trust me a little bit.
06:38So there was no like, oh, I've got to tell you about this recording that I shared with
06:41everybody.
06:42It was never that way because that's just not what happened.
06:43So, you know, her level of anger is, I think, a little bit much, considering that there's
06:48been a lot worse things that this cast has done.
06:51And she herself has been caught recording a few times.
06:53When I talked to Tamara, she said that Jen eventually turns on you.
06:57What can you say about that?
06:59And where does your friendship with her stand today?
07:01It's unfortunate, but Jen and I are not as close as we were last year.
07:05Even though your castmates are trying to give you this villain arc this season, the
07:08internet has really been on your side.
07:09What has that support meant to you?
07:11Well, when you're filming it and then waiting it for it to be edited and aired, it's like,
07:16it's just so much anxiety.
07:17You don't know how you're going to be received.
07:19So I'm very grateful.
07:20I'm so thankful because you just don't know.
07:22And I've gotten so much support.
07:24When I spoke to you last year, you said you, there was a 50, 50 chance you would want to
07:27return for another season.
07:29What are those chances looking like for season 20?
07:32You know, I think I'd love to return and actually get the women that I would be with to
07:36actually get to know me because I don't think I've been afforded that yet.
