00:00We love you on this show. You are so making it your own. You know, you're the center snowflake,
00:04you're center of the cast photo. You're hosting not only the first cast trip, but the cast trip
00:09to Greece. What does all of that mean to you? You know, it means a lot to me. It means I'm doing my
00:15job. It means I've been able to come on this show and start as an underdog. You know, when you don't
00:21start with the original cast, I think it's almost harder to make your way in. So I did it my way.
00:28I was listening to the Frank Sinatra song, My Way, and I thought that's really how I came on the
00:33show. It was unconventional because I didn't start with the ladies, but I did it my way. I did it by
00:38being a loyal friend, by sharing my life, by sharing my family, being authentic and being vulnerable,
00:43and really giving all of myself and just leaning into the entire process. And I think also I've
00:50grown every season. I've watched myself. I'm proud of how I came on because, you know, I did it, I
00:57think with wit and humor and friendships, I feel like I'm learning a lot along the way.
01:01And that's the most important thing to me. Yeah. Yeah. And you've also had, you know,
01:05so many iconic moments before we get into everything going on this season. I need to
01:10backtrack to last season because so much happened. You know, I need to ask about, you know, the high
01:14body count hair speech. Do you think my hair looks cheesy? It looks a little pornish. Do you really
01:20mean it? You think my hair looks sexy? That looks like high body count hair. This does not, that does
01:25not, that does not. That's high body count hair. What was your reaction when you saw how viral that
01:30went? I was shocked. I mean, I left the bat mitzvah devastated that I got kicked out. And that's all
01:37that I could think about that, you know, I went in there with an open mind and an open heart and I got
01:42kicked out of a religious event, which was really embarrassing and devastating to me. So the high
01:47body count hair thing was not even on my radar. So to see that that went viral the way it did,
01:53I was shocked, but it was kind of like, you know, something negative turned into something positive
01:58for me. And it, you know, being a hairdresser and being able to talk about someone's hair
02:03in a fun, funny, witty way, it was, you know, how I want to do the show, you know, just fun,
02:08funny and make people laugh. So I love that people loved it. I was shocked. And it was just,
02:14you know, Brittany pushed my buttons and I guess ended up being a fun and funny moment for both of
02:19us. Another big moment was the finale when everyone was reading the text, you know, Bronwyn read a text
02:25that you had written about her. She's nice, but she doesn't listen because her ears are stitched down
02:31to her face so tight. She can't hear anything. She wears a hot dog to outfit to remind us she sucked
02:39her way to the top. How is your friendship with her currently? How will we see that play out this
02:43season? Yeah, it's crazy because, you know, one minute you can tell someone that they're sucking
02:46their way to the top and bring up banana pills and hot dogs. And the next day you can be texting
02:51them and say, happy birthday. Hope you're doing well. How's New York Fashion Week? So I think our cast is
02:56pretty great about moving on. Bronwyn actually has a great sense of humor. And I think she's
03:01definitely someone that can laugh something off and just kind of shake it off and move on. For me
03:07personally, I don't like to attack people's like family or businesses or try and dig up dirt on
03:12people or expose people. That's just not how I move. And I don't want to be on the show doing things
03:18like that. So for me, you know, the little banana peel and hot dog and hair insults, like that's just a
03:23little more my brand. And I think you can always move on from something like that. Not that it was,
03:28you know, it was the nicest, easiest insult to take. Bronwyn was a great sport. At one point around
03:33that picnic table, you compared Lisa to Jen Shaw, but you quickly, you were like, oh wait, nevermind.
03:39One might say it's similar to what Jen Shaw did. What the f*** are you stealing from your mouth,
03:46Angie Kay? Wait, that was a bad analogy. Can you tell me what was going through your mind?
03:51Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I think like in real time I said, okay, it wasn't the greatest analogy and
03:56it probably wasn't the best choice of words, just like out dick sucker is not the best choice of
04:01word or circle jerk is not the best choice of words. But, um, you know, something in that moment
04:07to me felt like if there were multiple people making the same claims that it's not a great look.
04:14And, you know, I think if you take money from someone, you know, they shouldn't have to see you to
04:19get the money back. And, you know, it just felt a little familiar. It's not the exact same. Um, but,
04:25you know, I hope that, you know, people in these situations that, you know, we're just honest and
04:31we make things right and whatever, um, you know, the business still was. And that's why I said earlier,
04:36I hope that, you know, she gets resolve and makes, you know, finds a positive outcome. But again,
04:43it wasn't the greatest comment, but I did say it. And, you know, it just didn't feel good to know
04:50that people were feeling taken advantage of. And I think we've been there in the friend group before
04:54I went home and I just thought, why did I say that? You know, like I said it and I need to take
04:58responsibility that I did say that. And just, you know, when you kind of wonder what, what triggered
05:04me to say that or what made me say that. But I think when people are feeling that they've been
05:09taken advantage of or, you know, financially that, uh, for me, it's just, you know, we all like to do
05:16things on the up and up as, and I think for me, I just, you know, I, I felt like people are feeling
05:23taken advantage of and, you know, it just probably in the moment felt, you know, like something I'd seen
05:33in the past. That's all felt kind of familiar, different levels, but you know, I have to say,
05:37I love your friendship with Mary. You know, how have you been supporting her through everything
05:41that she's going through at home? Yeah. Um, she's got a lot going on right now. Um,
05:45she did share this information with me before, um, it was made public and I didn't really think it
05:51was going to be made, um, into such, uh, a thing online. So I really feel for her. You know,
05:57I think in these times you need privacy for your family and you need support from friends,
06:02close friends and family. And it's really hard to go through something like this when
06:06you're, you're not given your privacy, but, uh, I'm just giving her space right now while she's
06:12dealing with things at home. So just checking in with her, sending your messages. And so when
06:16she's ready to talk, I'm here. You are hosting the cast trip to Greece this season on the real
06:21house size of Salt Lake city. It's a week to be great. So excited to see that. What can you tease?
06:27You know, I think you're going to see quintessential Greece, all the beautiful things that the fans
06:31want to see the beautiful food, the beautiful scenery, uh, you know, the, the culture that
06:37the people just that it, those few days, I think we really did some of the most amazing things in
06:44Greece that viewers who have been or have not been are going to say, I love Greece. I want to go there
06:50or I've done that, or I've seen this. It's going to be a gorgeous trip to watch. And we had a lot of
06:56fun. I mean, if you had hard times with friends in the group, I feel like during those few days,
07:02those went away. I know they did for me. I was so happy to have the ladies in Greece. It was fun
07:06to be able to speak Greek and hear Greek music and just be surrounded by Greek people with the women.
07:12And, um, yeah, I just think everyone kind of let their guard down and had a great time together.
07:16I mean, don't worry. There was still some drama, but, uh, there was a lot of special moments in
07:20there. I'm not sure if you saw, but John Oliver was recently praising Real Housewives of Salt Lake
07:25City. He was kind of calling on Andy to bring Jen Shaw back when she's out of prison. Do you know
07:29whether she gets to go back on the show when she comes out? If, if she does not get to go back
07:34on the show when she comes out, Andy Cohen is not the super producer that I think he is.
07:40I think she walks straight back onto that show saying, I've had a more interesting life than you.
07:44Sit down, ladies. Your tequila sales can come later. Jen's got some stories.
07:50What's your take on everything he said?
07:52Oh, yeah. Uh, first of all, I love that he loves the show. He is not someone I would imagine
07:56that would watch the show, but it's so cool that he does. And, you know, I mean, to me,
08:02I just show up to work and, you know, deal with whatever comes my way. And that's who I am.
08:08Being a business owner, I know that I just have to show up and do my job. So, uh, but, you know,
08:13I also question in my life, like I'm in a very progressive industry and I'm very forward thinking.
08:20And sometimes I think when you go backwards, it's not always the greatest place to go.
08:25Right. You know, we've moved forward and I think, you know, the show is doing amazing. And
08:28so I question going backwards, right? Like there's a reason that we've moved forward and
08:33the show's at an all time high. And, uh, I don't know if, you know, hitting the rewind button's a good
08:38thing, but, uh, you know, like I said, I just show up and report for duty.
08:43Yeah.
