The California Spain Chamber of Commerce (CSCC) celebrated the Bridges of Innovation Gala 2025, on the Chamber’s 15th anniversary, at the historic Green Room in San Francisco. The event was an unforgettable evening where innovation, leadership, and transatlantic collaboration converged. Over 150 distinguished guests, including CEOs, investors, entrepreneurs, and institutional leaders, gathered to celebrate achievements and build connections that transcend borders. Pedro Azagra, CEO of Iberdrola, was named CEO & Company of the Year for his visionary leadership and global corporate impact. Mar Hershenson, Founding Partner of Pear VC, received the VC Investment Impact Award for her outstanding support of high-growth startups in the Bay Area. HappyRobot, founded by Javier Palafox, Pablo Palafox y Luis Paarup, was honored with the Rising Startup Award for its rapid expansion and disruptive innovation in robotics. Prominent companies such as Iberdrola, Nvidia, HP, Naturgy, Codorníu-Artesa, Iberia, Google, and Meta were represented at the event, underscoring the growing collaboration between major technology and energy corporations on both sides of the Atlantic. Institutional attendees included Carlos Medina Drescher, Consul General of Spain in San Francisco; Tamara Rojo, Artistic Director of the San Francisco Ballet; and François Brizard, representing the EU Office and the European Innovation Council (EIC) in the United States. "The Bridges of Innovation Gala is more than a celebration of our 15 years; it is a platform where leaders, innovators, and investors connect to shape the future of transatlantic business," said Antonio Fernandez, CSCC President. With an atmosphere of celebration, innovation, and forward thinking, the “Bridges of Innovation” Gala 2025 reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to fostering business and technological collaboration between Spain and the United States.
