00:00Police divers are searching through silt and sand here in the Nambucca River in the hopes
00:06of finding the remains of Colleen Walker Craig. The 16-year-old was last seen on Bowerville
00:11on Thursday, September 13, 1990. The following day, her family reported her missing, and
00:18her weighted down clothes were later found in the Nambucca River. Today, police say the
00:23fresh search here is about ensuring nothing was missed during the initial investigation
00:28more than three decades ago. It was established that there may have been some gaps in the
00:32search of the river at the time. Investigators say they'll be meeting with Miss Walker Craig's
00:37family today and tomorrow. Police remain hopeful of finding those responsible for the 16-year-old's
00:42death, saying a $1 million reward remains on the table for information that leads to a
00:47conviction or the discovery of Colleen's remains. We can't make any promises that we will get
00:52a result, but we'll do our absolute best to try to do something for the victim's families.
00:56While Colleen has never been found, the New South Wales coroner ruled that she'd most likely
01:01been murdered. The investigation on the state's mid-north coast comes a year after detectives
01:06spent a week in Bowerville appealing for information about Colleen's disappearance. Police will search
01:12a private property in Bowerville tomorrow.
