Donald Trump spoke with the press on Tuesday, Oct. 21, following an extended Diwali celebration. When asked about the NYC mayoral race, particularly Zohran Mamdani’s lead over Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa, Trump responded:
“It’s really a question of ‘Would I rather have a Democrat or a communist?’ And I would rather have a Democrat.”
