00:32the national disaster management organization nadmo has come to investigate sent by the government
00:38in logri the aspects find heavy rainfall which is becoming more frequent due to climate change
00:45was only the trigger the real problem is the poor construction of the road and lack of drainage
00:54from our assessment we are noticing that this is not something that is natural at all it is as a
01:00resource of mammy because the contractor has not done his work appropriately is supposed to do
01:08when the people of logri learned that human error was involved they are relieved because that means
01:14something can be done they begin the cleanup but demand the construction company come and rectify
01:21its mistakes in the past when it rained we didn't get floods today even the slightest rain leads to
01:31flooding now we know it is not climate change but due to poor construction we are calling on the
01:37government to compel the contractor to come back and do the writing that would free us from this problem
01:44but the disaster management team can't hold the contractor accountable themselves
01:48so they visit the local authorities here they learned that the same contractor also dug drainage gutters
01:55on roads in other nearby communities but the channels were too narrow

05:20has been ordered to install a suitable drainage system soon until then the villagers will have to manage
05:27as best they can
