00:00This is how I create a timeline on a Gantt chart that looks something like this.
00:04First you select the timeline area like this, then after that go home style
00:09conditional formatting and after I go new rules. In here you're
00:12going to select use formula and this is the formula you'll be using.
00:15This formula simply says that to highlight the cell
00:18that is within the start and the end date itself.
00:21After that click on format, make sure you click on fill
00:24and then select that color that you want to highlight your timeline with. I'm
00:27going to say orange and click OK and OK one more time. As you can see the
00:31timeline are highlighted. So if you make these changes to say for
00:34example slightly more like this, you can see all the timeline changes
00:38accordingly.
