00:00The IDF has confirmed carrying out airstrikes on the southern Gazan city of Rafah despite a U.S. brokered ceasefire being in effect.

01:47after thieves broke into the Apollo Gallery and stole valuable crown jewels.
01:52Interior Minister Laurent Nunez said the thieves used a basket lift to access the room directly,
01:59forced a window and broke display cases to steal the jewels,
02:03before escaping on two-wheelers.
02:04The daylight heist about 30 minutes after opening
02:09was among the highest-profile museum thefts in living memory
02:13and took just four minutes, according to Culture Minister Rashida Dati.
02:18Forensic work is underway and a precise inventory of the stolen objects is being compiled.
02:25Nine jewels were reportedly stolen, according to officials.
02:29One object was later found outside the museum,
02:32identified as the emerald-set imperial crown of Napoleon III's wife, Empress Eugenie.
