Trials of the BOZDOĞAN and GÖKDOĞAN missiles highlight the advancement of Turkey’s defence industry in high-precision air-to-air systems.
Turkey has successfully completed another round of tests for the BOZDOĞAN and GÖKDOĞAN air-to-air missiles, developed by TÜBİTAK SAGE as part of the GÖKTUĞ Project. The firings, carried out from Turkish Air Force F-16 fighters, were captured on video and showcased the effective performance of the guidance and control systems.
The BOZDOĞAN, intended for within-visual-range (WVR) engagements, displayed exceptional manoeuvrability thanks to its thrust vectoring control system and precise tracking using its advanced infrared seeker head.
