00:00Hi Sadler's fandom, inside the best got where Walsall have fallen to a 2-1 defeat against Barrow
00:06which ends the Sadler's 8-match unbeaten run in League 2
00:11but they do still sit at the top of the pile
00:13with a 2-point lead after Swindon Town also took a batter in 4-0 at Crinton Stanley this afternoon
00:20but yeah, it was just not Walsall's day in the end
00:23Matt Sadler made two changes
00:25Charlie Lakin surprisingly dropped to the bench
00:27as Courtney Clarke made his first home league start for the club
00:32Brandon Comley also dropped out as Lewis Warrington returned
00:37Matt Sadler did just explain there that Rico Richards and Jamil Matt both not in the squad
00:41and that was due to illness
00:42they were not in training on Thursday and Friday
00:45so they've been struggling with that
00:46and Walsall wanted to sort of keep that away from the camp this week
00:49and yeah, in the end, you know, Walsall started on the front foot
00:54carried the greater attacking threat
00:56but it was a first half really which was bereft of clear-cut chances
01:01there was one where Carnot from an acute angle had an effort smothered behind
01:07but it was Barrow hit the front 32 minutes on the clock
01:10broke down the right-hand side
01:11it's poor defending from Walsall actually
01:13and Vincent Harper was kind of sucked in
01:16as Barrow worked the ball down the right-hand side with a 1-2
01:20it was then flashed to the back post by Ben Whitfield
01:24and Elliot Newby was there to tap home
01:26and yeah, in that second half
01:30Walsall had chances
01:33I think Carnot had a couple of chances around the hour mark
01:38and they were starting to look a threat
01:40and of course Barrow had been sent down to 10 men
01:43Lewis Shipley was given a second yellow card
01:46for pulling down McCarnot on the right-hand side
01:48and then Barrow doubled their advantage
01:52Charlie McCann, quick break
01:54worked down the right-hand side
01:56and it ricocheted about two or three times inside the penalty area
01:59before McCann eventually rolled the ball beyond the reach of
02:02Myles Roberts
02:03and that left water over mountains climb
02:05Matt Sadler did react with a triple substitution
02:07I thought Judah Kiki actually came on around the 55-minute mark
02:12he played really well
02:13good cameo from the bench from him
02:15but the triple substitution came in
02:17and Albert Odoma came on at right wing-back
02:19for Connor Barrett
02:20Ryan Finnegan came on as well
02:23and Walsall made a real impact
02:27Charlie Lakin also came on, sorry
02:29and yeah, it was a major onslaught then from Walsall
02:32and the Barrow goalkeeper, Will Stanway
02:35was absolutely fantastic
02:37man of the match
02:37made a string of saves
02:39but Daniel Carnot did eventually pull one back
02:42and the chances just kept coming
02:43and kept coming for Walsall
02:45and it did feel that hopefully
02:46that equaliser would arrive
02:48and unfortunately it didn't
02:49the best chance of the lot
02:50found to Aaron Presley
02:52he's around six yards out
02:53and he just planted a downward header
02:55into the post
02:56when really he should have scored
02:58but in the end
02:59it's a 2-1 defeat here
03:00and yeah, first defeat in nine for Walsall
03:04and on to Cheltenham away
03:06next weekend
03:06in the early kick-off
03:08on็–
03:22and that we know
03:23and then from S-Romen
