00:00Come along with me on Ember's new electrical bus service being offered in Moray.
00:08The service connects Elgin to larger cities such as Inverness and Aberdeen,
00:12as well as offering drop-offs at Aberdeen Airport.
00:16A single to Aberdeen from Elgin cost me £9.10 and took just over two hours to get me into the city centre.
00:23When I stepped onto the bus at Elgin's train station,
00:26I was surprised by how fresh and modern the interior of the vehicle was.
00:30The seats were comfortable and had the ability to recline and even shift out into the aisle
00:35if you find yourself craving more space.
00:38There were USB and USB-C charging ports available so I could charge my headphones during my journey.
00:44Certain seats also boasted plug sockets and the bus itself had free WiFi.
00:49Each seat also had a fold-out table with a cup holder.
00:52The buses are the UK's first entirely electric fleet and run on zero emissions.
00:57When back at the depot, they only take one hour to fully charge.

01:14They've got a very straightforward simple service that they can use
01:17and most importantly that they can rely upon to turn up when we say we will.
01:21Feeling rested and relaxed, there was nothing left to do but listen to music and admire the countryside from the window.
01:27There was plenty of livestock to keep me company along the A96.
