A massive fire broke out at the high-security Brahmaputra apartments on Dr Bishambar Das Marg in New Delhi, a residential complex for Members of Parliament located just 200 meters from the Parliament building. The incident has raised serious questions about safety protocols, with residents alleging that 'the fire tenders arrived at least 30 minutes late. And people suggested that the internal fire safety devices were not working properly.' While there were no critical injuries reported, the blaze in the building, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2020, triggered panic and has put emergency response mechanisms in one of the capital's most secure zones under intense scrutiny. An investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway.

01:23Two major things that have been complained by people on the ground, that the fire tenders arrived at least 30 minutes late.
