00:00One thing I know to be true on your comeback journey is life will happen
00:04whether you want it to or not. It's the decision to take what you're given and
00:08discover new life in you that changes the game. Tiffany Adams succeeds in spite
00:14of the unimaginable and motivates others along the way. Take a look. In an instant
00:20Tiffany Adams life was changed forever. She was only 17 when she was hit by a
00:26drunk driver traveling 130 miles an hour in a head-on collision. As the sole
00:33survivor Tiffany defied the odds. She lived but was told she would never walk
00:40again. But Tiffany came back with a new purpose. She became an actress, a model, an
00:46athlete, and motivational speaker. Her mission? Teaching others how to treat
00:52people with disabilities and changing how the disabled are portrayed in the
00:57media. There's beauty in all shapes and forms and sizes. She has embraced her
01:02wheelchair as a team and is the inspiration behind the short
01:06documentary Tiffany. You just can't give up on yourself. Tiffany joins us live
01:14girlfriend hello now I've been watching your YouTube progress videos while in the
01:20gym and I literally feel like I've taken walks with you. Now a lot of folks feel
01:24like fitness is aesthetic but you say it's your therapy. How has it helped you?
01:29Yes fitness has definitely been very very cathartic for me. It's helped me in
01:34multiple levels deal with the traumatic events that have occurred in my life. I
01:38know you're teaching others through your experiences and I like to call that
01:41testimony teaching. What made you decide to be so vulnerable and transparent and
01:47take us all on your journey with you? I really asked God to allow me to utilize
01:52whatever has happened with me to help enhance the lives of others for the
01:57greatest good. 95% of the people who play disabled roles on TV are actually
02:02actors. Only about 5% of people who are actually disabled play those roles. Does
02:07that do a disservice to how we perceive disabled people and what are we missing as
02:12an audience? I feel it's definitely part of my purpose to help shine light on those
02:18that I feel have been speaking for years and haven't necessarily been fully heard.
02:23There's so many things that you are you know you're not just one thing but you
02:27pride yourself on your motivational messaging. Now everyone can learn more
02:31about you at TiffanyAdams.com but before you go can you leave us with three tips on
02:36how to survive through life's obstacles. Passion, perseverance, persistence and I'm
02:42gonna drop the fourth P prayer. Absolutely. Well Tiffany you are such an
02:47inspiration. I look forward to taking more walks with you hopefully in real
02:51life because you are so dope girl. Thank you so much we really appreciate you
