00:01:50okay of course as i said we got a lot of thursday night football to get to i'll have ryan dimster on

00:01:55here in a little bit to talk some playoff baseball uh you got the money corner crawler corn we're

00:02:00going to take you inside the film room massive big new kickoff coming up this weekend the holy war

00:02:04byu utah and a ton of games to break down to be excited about so coming out with us next two hours

00:02:11here in fs1 uh boys the unc bowl yep last night how about it did not disappoint interestingly enough

00:02:19the third thursday in a row in which we entered a game and on paper it felt like there was one team

00:02:26that would so clearly win in fact i think the thursday wub crew has almost picked uh unanimously

00:02:33wrong now three weeks in a row only this time it was joe flacco showing up 10 days ago to cincinnati

00:02:41and absolutely going off leading a game winning drive and the bingles beat the steelers unbelievable

00:02:48they sure did sickening performance by the steelers you pay all of its money for a defense

00:02:53and you just can't our secondary secondary couldn't cover i mean jamar chase was electric last night

00:02:59every single time you know the ball is going to jamar chase can't cover him our our our front four

00:03:05couldn't get a rush to save their life tj watt one of the highest paid defensive players in the league

00:03:10can't get a rush it was it was truly unbelievable and everything jerry said i was watching the game

00:03:15obviously in the gambling cave last night and jerry was just i mean so so speaking of jamar uh let's

00:03:21let's set up our own jersey jerry who yesterday on this program i said there is a zero percent chance

00:03:28that the cincinnati bingles would win this game he said i know this is going to get clipped i know

00:03:33this is bad but i'm saying anyway zero percent chance since he wins the game well here was jerry after

00:03:39the game all right jj here listen hand up hand up i was wrong uh i was 100 wrong on the game

00:03:49the defense is just pathetic man i mean just all the way around pathetic i know they got stars jamar

00:03:58chase t higgins but you got to figure it out somebody got to figure it out it's just a

00:04:05this is just every time i want to buy in on this team dude they just let you down tomlin man what

00:04:12are we doing thursday night do you hate thursday night you bum no dude he's valid and everything

00:04:24he said he's valid it's a fair question does he hate thursday i mean here but but so so it's funny

00:04:30because a lot of the headlines and rightfully so are going to be about the two quarterbacks who

00:04:35were both awesome last night i mean turn back clock i mean how about the fact that aaron rogers even

00:04:39first off the throw to fry and ruth for the 68 year touchdown was a seed yeah it was a seed i mean

00:04:45to reshift his hips kind of move the pocket avoid the rush and then just launch that thing on a rope

00:04:50where the safety couldn't get back was crazy and then he comes back and this is the kind of lost the

00:04:55sauce a little bit but after the since he takes the lead his hail mary attempt traveled 70 yards

00:05:02in the air i think he's the best hail mary thrower to ever live yeah that's fair my jaw dropped when

00:05:07he threw that pass it's a skyball bro that's the longest throw uh through air yards because when 70

00:05:14in the air that's the longest air yard throw since 2017 and you know how high he's throwing it too

00:05:19at that trajectory to go 70 yards yeah it's true that is ridiculous so again again like that's

00:05:27awesome the the quarterbacks are awesome but boys as the big boys we know it all starts up front yeah

00:05:35and when i look at last night's game why did the bingles win why did everything work it's because they

00:05:41could run the ball yeah because all of a sudden they have the steelers in a blender like the steelers

00:05:45open up the second half with eight in the box yeah so what what do the bingles immediately do

00:05:50bing bing bing bing just throw it in our chase you cannot if if if if the if the bingles can run the

00:05:55ball on you what do you do you can't add people to the box you can't try to go man up on jamar chase

00:06:01and t higgins because look at what happens jamar chase goes for a franchise record 16 catches

00:06:06and shout out to the veteran quarterback joe flacco for just kind of understanding the dynamics quite

00:06:11simply you know like i don't have to know the team or the playbook inside and out i know these guys

00:06:15that i have and i know they can win one-on-one and i know you know the bangles have not had the

00:06:20best offensive line throughout you know the first five weeks or six weeks um that's a way to make

00:06:26your o-lineman confident throughout the rest of the game is establishing a run early because if you

00:06:33start out you know giving up a sack in the first couple possessions you know your offensive line's kind

00:06:37of all out of sorts then for the rest of the game they're thinking about the you know how you started

00:06:42the game and and how to protect better but if you start out with a good run game and set up great

00:06:47play action great drop back and protect joe flacco then that confident o-line can just carry you for

00:06:53the rest of the game and make you just an awesome offense i was looking through uh for some bets last

00:06:58night and one stuck out to me and it seemed too good to be true it was neither team to score 30 points

00:07:05i took that within the first three minutes that was dead wait dana you might be the only person at

00:07:12the company that didn't win last they both scored 30 points and that is a product of the steelers

00:07:18defense good god they spent so much money on their god awful chase brown who was having a historically

00:07:27bad running season yeah was ripping them 37 yards 20 yards it's only a second hundred yard game

00:07:34of his entire career yeah and it only took 11 carries man was i off base with that bet uh they

00:07:40both scored 30 the both offenses look good but that's i mean it's it's kind of just a product of

00:07:47i would say two really bad defenses yeah correct me if i'm wrong but that it just seemed like there

00:07:52were gash plays when i saw flacco versus rogers i was like nobody's scoring 30 points in this game

00:07:57boy was i wrong man just yeah good good thursday night game yeah bad defenses

00:08:03against veteran quarterbacks yes that were able to fully take advantage of said bad defense it's

00:08:09like if you can't get a pass rush on those old men you're cooked right yeah you're good oh trey

00:08:15hendrickson they'll pick you apart dude and and and i gotta say dude shout out so um the thursday

00:08:21night games are on amazon obviously boys i i think amazon is doing a killer job with this like i'm not

00:08:28trying to be a corporate bootlicker but i'm talking about production values has anybody watched

00:08:32the prime vision i know they never do it in the cave i saw some of the clips bro i've now because

00:08:38i didn't want to i've been building this take for a while i i didn't want to um i didn't want to get

00:08:42over my skis or say something reactive but i've now i i've now watched it uh four times in a row and

00:08:49it's it's it's it's been really cool man it's it's an interesting way to watch football but

00:08:53one thing that um was mentioned last night with the next gen stats were um the fact that joe flacco

00:09:00at the beginning of the game when the bingles offense couldn't seem to get it going i think his

00:09:04average time to throw was like 27 and then when it started to get going he dropped it all the way

00:09:09down to 225 so he started protecting himself with his decision making quicker decision making um

00:09:15and well look at the benefits that it um and he wasn't pressured he wasn't in a he wasn't

00:09:21uncomfortable in the pocket at all because our oh my god that was that was close

00:09:26that was close we almost dropped one of them that was close we've had a clean fcc week oh that would

00:09:31have been um do not our d-line couldn't get a rush wow good save man i'm usually good job

00:09:40these games though have been good these thursday night games yeah and honestly if these bengals can

00:09:46just kind of just stay frisky win a couple more games until burrow gets back just stay in the hunt

00:09:53is burrow coming back so what's the status on burrow right i would guess if they're somewhat

00:09:57in the hunt he would come back feels like maybe like a play of jason type deal right maybe late in

00:10:04the year did you see burrow last night yeah what was his hair his hair mike golick jr because you

00:10:10know he just looks very sad and very angry michael jr had an excellent tweet great joke he called him

00:10:26drugs they have hope once again after starting 2-0 then losing four in a row it had been beaten

00:10:32out of them and when jamar chase scored that touchdown in the first half last night that was

00:10:38the first first half touchdown that the bengals had had in five games man so if you're a cincy fan

00:10:43you've gone through a month of brutal losses where you've looked listless and absolutely dead in the

00:10:48water and now here comes your hero in the form of 41 year old joe flacco 40 year old joe flacco to

00:10:56save your day and uh give you a little bit of hope i also i was gonna say they get the jets next

00:11:02weekend so maybe they go back to 500 just a little momentum you know it's all i need a little bit of

00:11:07momentum and that that city deserves something all that that team man they just ever since that super

00:11:14bowl loss it feels like they can't they just i feel bad for the city of cincinnati yeah dana's the

00:11:20mayor too i am the mayor i'm the jesus of cincinnati shout out to the bearcats you'll be heading back

00:11:25there pretty soon uh meg did you have any anything jump out at you from last night's game uh not

00:11:29necessarily i mean as you said it's the young bowl it was very entertaining to watch um and to

00:11:35your point i know you said they hadn't scored a touchdown you said in five games i think it was

00:11:38four or five in the first half so a little quick stat bangles hadn't scored a touchdown in 30 straight

00:11:43first half possessions good god that's insane and and again like like dana's get the fan experience

00:11:49of watching that is enough to drive you crazy and the uniforms are really fucked oh fun they're really

00:12:11last six quarters of joe flacco and that was kind of lost in the nfl recap weekend was the fact that he

00:12:18came in that second half uh last weekend and and and things looked instantly better so all of a

00:12:23sudden like last night the steelers had a chance to take a chokehold on that division yes and they

00:12:30blew it and another stat i saw i don't know i can't even believe this 56 straight regular season games

00:12:37the steelers have scored seven or fewer points in the first quarter uh 56 56 consecutive that's a

00:12:45that's a crazy stat that is absurd it's half a decade we gotta start the game better man um so

00:12:51shout out to thursday night football delivering some great football shout out the funky uniforms that

00:12:56they were funky yeah they were funky yeah the icy the icy whites yeah they were funky t-bomb

00:13:53loud which is say it loud your boy michael katik deciding kurt signetti saying i'm not going anywhere

00:14:02i'm staying in bloomington indiana you know i'm sure that i'm sure that i'm sure that getting a

00:14:09brand new 94 million dollar contract that makes him the third highest paid coach in the entire country

00:14:14was just a cherry on top the man loves bloomington he's here to stay you're damn right t bob that all

00:14:21came out of my pocket you're welcome coach i love you stay in bloomington you're retiring our hoosier

00:14:25no i have been saying his wife loves bloomington loves bloomington his kids love bloomington he

00:14:32loves bloomington the people love sig if he has like two more years like this they're going to build

00:14:36a statue they might name the stadium after him this is unheard of i mean indiana is the most oh how

00:14:44do i say this the losingest team ever yeah that's a pretty yeah i mean we have lost more games than

00:14:52anyone in the existence of college football and now we have a guy that led us to 11 wins last year

00:14:59he's on his way to leading us i mean if all if god forbid knock on wood if all things go as planned

00:15:0612 and 0 regular season big 10 championship opportunity in indianapolis i will be there

00:15:13and yeah i i i couldn't be happier and i mean he's got to thank james franklin for being

00:15:18i am yeah okay hold on hold on so okay so bad for being so bad because indiana had to reach deeper

00:15:27into their pockets to keep him because of all the conversations of him going to penn state which

00:15:31had been the worst decision of his life yeah so kurt signetti is on a generational yep contract

00:15:38extension run yep right here this comes from noah fleischman on twitter uh kurt signetti has gotten

00:15:45contract extensions now five years in a row in 2022 at jmu he re-upped to the tune of 621k per year

00:15:55they did so good that in 23 they re-upped him to 670k per year well then of course he takes the indiana

00:16:02job he has a brand new really huge salary what a jump from 670 to 4.2 million then he goes to the

00:16:09playoff wins 11 games they're great uh that gets extended last season to 8.3 million and now thanks

00:16:18to being undefeated a massive win in oregon a couple weeks ago and james franklin being fired

00:16:24the leverage was there once again to get extended and it's 11.6 million i'm gonna glaze the man i'm

00:16:31gonna glaze away he was under coach saban at alabama yeah he took a shot in the dark to take over

00:16:38a head coaching job at indiana university of pennsylvania or no elon he went to elon yeah head

00:16:45coach yep and he has worked his way up since i mean i'm sure he's learned so much from coach saban but

00:16:51also his dad frank signetti is an unbelievable hall of fame coach but the way that he climbed these ranks

00:16:58from elon all the way up to now making 11.6 million at indian university the premier powerhouse of college

00:17:05football may i add um arguable it is it is truly unbelievable what he's done for himself for his

00:17:12family in in what i think 10 10 15 years um he's it's truly unbelievable and it's just all all glory to

00:17:20him i read a uh god it sounds like you're praying i don't know why glory dude if you know i mean my

00:17:27vocabulary i say the most random stuff all glory the holy what do you want me to say all power uh

00:17:35signetti does sound a little latin uh no it's it's it's i read a great piece of the athletic last

00:17:40season uh telling the kurt signetti story and you're exactly right he was doing great alabama

00:17:44but he was pigeonholed into position coach and recruiting guy yeah he was never going to get the

00:17:51coordinator opportunity they would always hire outside whoever the young hot coordinator was maybe

00:17:56an old veteran and he knew that and so as you said he bet on himself and my god the bet paid off

00:18:01and we talked earlier this season remember thomas castellano spent a long season for him right

00:18:06florida state quarterback remember during the off season he's talking about alabama and he's like look

00:18:10man you know we go we're gonna show him that nick saving ain't here anymore and then and then

00:18:15they came out and they smoked alabama game one it was one of the ultimate examples of standing on

00:18:19business that we've ever seen well in case i i don't want people to forget when kurt signetti took

00:18:26this job at indiana they asked him you know what's the key to your says how do you sell your vision

00:18:30how do you how do you recruit what do you say he said i win google me then he shows up at the indiana

00:18:36basketball game at halftime crowds going crazy what does he say he says hey purdue sucks oh crowd goes

00:18:43crazy that's easy to say they do suck you know what else he said so do ohio state and michigan and he's

00:18:49proven it before signetti from 21 to 23 indiana was three and 24 in the big 10 yikes in the last two

00:20:25one person can have a big impact we saw that last night in the in the mariners blue jays game the

00:20:40battle on thursday night football 41 year old story about that game last night oh what happened

00:20:55i need a pick for a touchdown tonight i'm gonna bet on a on one touchdown and uh and and mar says jamar

00:21:01chase i go no i i need a long shot i i i get the even money thing i want a long shot

00:21:06and from i my offices shares i share an office with umfrey's mcgee a band uh i got a bunch of guys um

00:21:12and and the bassist ryan stasek says tight ends aaron rogers loves his tight end or now washington

00:21:19no i went plus two touchdowns no way i got receipts boys i got receipts

00:21:30what a pull good hit yes wow it was unbelievable so yeah all the old guys were living it up last

00:21:36night nobody was living it up bigger than max scherzer man yeah i mean again scherzer with an

00:21:42absolute jim and you mentioned changing the culture right and fan bases doing something you

00:21:48had done before and the fear has got to be setting in for the seattle mariners here right because you

00:21:55go and you take two on the road you return home you know that place is going to be absolutely

00:21:58electric they've never won a game three and they've never gotten to three wins in alcs they've been

00:22:03here in 20 years but this year was going to be different and it's gone disastrously since

00:22:08returning to pacific northwest um where do you think mentally the seattle mariners team is at

00:22:15right now like is this all flipped blue jays yeah it's funny hey momentum in the playoffs is real and

00:22:22and the reason i think it's flipped a little bit and it can flip right back as we know but the reason

00:22:27i think it flipped a little bit is both of these games the mariners took the early lead it was like

00:22:32at home julio going deep at home here we go again another one and it's like and then the blue jays

00:22:38just do what they do which they didn't do in the first couple games and that's swing the bats like

00:22:42nobody else in the league i mean they don't strike out they hit home runs they put the ball in play

00:22:47and then to do this again and like you know you look at that crowd by the way there's very few places

00:22:53where a team can go on the road and in the playoffs and bring their fans and because seattle's right there

00:23:00against the border up in vancouver everybody from western canada because toronto's canada's team they

00:23:05all come down man everybody's down there it's true and it was it was unbelievable so like

00:23:10this this could very well if this game if the blue jays win tonight it's there's their series in

00:23:16toronto i have a tough time thinking seattle's gonna go back after being up 2-0 um but this is yeah

00:23:21this just shows you playoff baseball can swing in a heartbeat it takes one at bat one pitching

00:23:26performance whatever it is and momentum's gone the other way real fast wait so uh is this is

00:23:32this a fun series for you given that you are one of those canadians that they could have come down

00:23:37for this game back in the day being from bc yeah 100 percent like you know like to for people at home

00:23:43to put this in perspective right you think oh how many people watch a a cubs game on any given day

00:23:48right like it's roughly about three to four hundred thousand people tune in for a cubs game that's

00:23:53viewership canada everybody turns into the blue jays games 1.3 million a day or one that's

00:24:00game during the regular season what yeah it's canada season regular season they get all the

00:24:05viewership right it's rogers across canada so so growing up i was a huge blue jay fan but growing

00:24:11up in the pacific northwest i mean i got cairo i was listening to brick riz and dave niehaus call games

00:24:16with alvin davis at first base and spike owen playing short henry cotto and center and the big

00:24:21unit on the mountain like those were my days like and so i i drive down to seattle to go watch the a's

00:24:27play my best friend was a huge henderson fan so we drive down you know in high school his dad would

00:24:31take us go watch the a's come into town and the bash brothers you know but they're like they're not

00:24:35going to be my mariners not happening sandwiches at lunchtime so i was a big mariners fan i really

00:24:42was and and uh you know and and so this is a really cool series it's it's it's a lot of fun

00:24:48and i guarantee you both teams are going to come out firing tonight again this is this is electric

00:24:52so you see max scherzer last night just an absolute psycho staring down his manager saying

00:24:58do not take me out leave me on this mount 41 years old he's earned that respect have you ever

00:25:03seen someone do that and it's backfired in your career not too often because because and i i say that

00:25:12because i can't even recall a guy who really like you know wasn't was that kind of street cred that kind

00:25:18of presence like max scherzer and then to say that even when it didn't work out like i remember the

00:25:25uh 2013 world series john farrell never went to the mound the entire season and took and did not take

00:25:33the pitcher out the whole season every time he went to the mound pitcher you're out of the game

00:25:37well he goes out in game six and john lackey's like you ain't taking me out bro and he's like what

00:25:41you're not taking me out so he didn't it was the only time lackey why end up walking matt holiday

00:25:46and that at bat but it didn't matter because we were like so fired up as a team we were just like

00:25:52yeah cool next guy will get out and that's ended up went out of happening so i think that kind of

00:25:56same thing took place yesterday and i remember telling my buddy oh game's over soon as they sit

00:26:01there and he yells at him like this and he says get off my mouth go away and like i love by the way

00:26:06watch john snyder thank you john snyder for throwing out the freaking chest pump to max scherzer

00:26:12afterwards where he hits him in the stomach and says let's go if you're not fired up about that

00:26:18and i don't want you watching baseball that's what it's all about we had some emotion last night at

00:26:23its finest and they went out there max backed it up with a punch up this i love this as a starting

00:26:28pitcher with all my chills so it was awesome i got i got chills watching my body let me tell you

00:26:34think about how his feeling how his teammates feel i know that's what i wanted to ask you was like

00:26:41how fired up is the the rest of the defense seeing that like there's a fight to the bat rack every

00:26:46other starting pitcher's doing push-ups and they're ready to go they're like let's go you know what that

00:26:52makes me who's next that the uh these analytics guys you know they say maybe someone an analytics

00:26:58guy might go up there and say you gotta take them out yeah no we're going full heart we're going with

00:27:03our gut here we're keeping them in i love that like that actually like that that's like a smelling

00:27:08salt to me like that that that right there is just so beautiful and it fires me up money ball works

00:27:14for some teams but sometimes you gotta look at what's happening in front of you and exactly

00:27:19you see the momentum you can't just take it out no well scherzer's a bulldog bro you gotta let

00:27:23them keep shoving well i want to ask you about this does that does that does that math change

00:27:29in the playoffs like do you have to do a bit more emotional managing in the playoffs

00:27:34than you maybe would in the grind of the regular season where maybe being a bit more analytic for it

00:27:39is um kind of better for managing the workloads like do you start to manage at the heart a little

00:27:44bit more this time of year yeah i i think that you do i think that some teams still consider you know

00:27:52the the program put in place the the model they put in place to be what will get you there but you got

00:27:57to remember right so everybody's got the model then you have 30 teams then you get down to 12

00:28:03and as you get closer and closer we're down to the four best teams in the league i mean the margins if

00:28:08you're going to find those on paper i have a tough time believing that you know like if you're going to

00:28:12look into a computer and say i really got a gut feeling about this right here because it says in the

00:28:18in the numbers that he's he's three for his last five off of this guy and so he's the no man

00:28:24you're this is a different beast everything is moving differently your heart rate's beating

00:28:29differently everything's crisper cleaner the fans look brighter they sound different the

00:28:33announcers are cleaner i mean that's why we all watch the games they all feel different and they

00:28:38are as a player so i think as managers and you know i command a guy like dave roberts right you look

00:28:43at the dodgers the last few years right they're they're take all the payroll players aside they're

00:28:49a highly analytical team they use these to the best of their abilities but what did dave do he

00:28:54goes out there and says okay i made a mistake man i shouldn't have let blake snell out of that game

00:28:59and i should have kept him in the game yamamoto you're gonna throw the whole game yeah you're

00:30:04the brewers are struggling because they don't have anybody outside of freddie peralta step up in that

00:30:09starting rotation i know you do what you got to do in the early rounds to make it through but

00:30:13when you have dominant starting pitching that's why i thought the phillies was possibly you know it was

00:30:17but when you got phillies dodgers that might have been the world series right there as far as the

00:30:21best two powerhouse teams especially when it comes to rotations um you know you look at the teams in

00:30:26it right now the mariners dominant starting rotation uh the blue jays either starting rotation

00:30:31shane beaver what he did and then and then matched last night so you have to have good starting

00:30:36pitching i think that's a must because depth right things happen along the way jay steel goes down

00:30:40early on showed with his hamstring you need that you need that to fill in and the better that is um

00:30:46the better your ball club is going to be obviously you're gonna have to figure out what happens with

00:30:49tucker do you replace that with somebody else do you reunite with a guy that possibly mashed homers in

00:30:54the playoffs for you at one point and then left for a little while and then he goes out and continues

00:30:58to match homers maybe you bring a guy like that back to 50 a year at wrigley i don't know um and then and

00:31:04then always bullpen help that's always going to do it but it's right there right like this isn't

00:31:08some sort of this is a 90 plus win team they proved it this year with injuries and i think that they're

00:31:13better than they even um showed towards the end of the season which was a great end of the season i

00:31:18mean to have playoff games again at wrigley was so awesome yeah to feel that electricity for everybody

00:32:52abilities uh offense offensive life was washington is fantastic 11th and success rate 10th and passing

00:32:59rate six and uh third and fourth down success rate uh and i know michigan struggled against a very

00:33:04dynamic usc offense and while washington might not be usc this is a team that can put up points through

00:33:10the air and on the ground with a two-headed monster not to mention haynes might not play for michigan and

00:33:15their one and two ats at home that's pick numero uno second up we're going with oklahoma minus the

00:33:22five and a half at south carolina oklahoma got the reality check last week meanwhile south carolina

00:33:28played our lsu tigers and if our defense is as elite as it says we think it is south carolina should be

00:33:34a little beaten up yeah uh mater did not look great throwing last week but he did say in the presser

00:33:40after the game it wasn't his hand that caused the loss it was his eyes so we're going back to oklahoma for

00:33:45a bounce back uh speaking of mincy i hate doing it but i'm going with the fighting mincys the fighting

00:33:50kiffins this week all miss plus the seven and a half in athens do i think they win this game outright

00:33:58i don't uh but i do think this is too many points to give chambliss and an old miss offense that can put

00:34:03up a ton of points uh if chambliss is pressured by uga i could 100 lose this bet very very quickly

00:34:12however too many points last up i agree last up we're going to go ahead well i'm taking oregon

00:34:19you don't even need to know ruckers off three bad losses oregon about to throttle them after indiana

00:34:24throttled oregon and then i got some pretty good line value here with maryland i got plus three and

00:34:30a half they're going against the red hot ucla bruins uh my thing is the terps well they did lose two

00:34:36straight games uh they looked really good they're pretty good and they covered they've already taken a

00:34:40trip out to the west coast they know how to play they controlled washington the entire game until

00:37:58grams of protein i felt so bad about i felt guilty eating all this i would eat good handfuls of cheese

00:38:04in my apartment blocks of cheese and i would feel guilty i'd say dana you can't be grabbing it out of

00:38:09the bag i do that every single day and then i looked it up and said protein and now i'm back i would

00:38:16eat up yeah we we've talked about this eat it by the block oh a fucking oh oh man

00:38:38oh my god oh my god i love these people so much i i i i i i was gonna say i'll bite i'll take a

00:38:50shop out of a block of cheese you're passionate about cheese that's all did they catch that one

00:52:50rivalry here tennessee going to tuscaloosa to take on the now resurgent alabama crimson tide a team

00:52:58that we declared dead a program we declared dead after week one and all they've done since that

00:53:03moment is get better and better and better continue to be ranked teams ty simpson's awesome ryan grubb

00:53:07the new offensive coordinator that uh kayla board brought back with him that all seems to be paying

00:53:11dividends uh but lost in all this guys this tennessee program now like we mentioned signetti taking

00:53:18over disaster what he did and granted tennessee has a rich history but they were bad for so long

00:53:23yeah josh heupel's turnaround since he got there they've now won the ninth most games in the entire

00:53:29country and this year statistically they're the best offense in the country they lead the nation in

00:53:34points per game yeah they're they're incredible and josh heupel like you said has done a great job

00:53:38um but they're going to tuscaloosa it's gonna be a tough environment that place is gonna be rocking

00:53:44um and i i think tennessee has a great offensive line they have a great offense um but it's gonna

00:53:50match up it's gonna be a tough matchup against alabama's front seven so uh like i say every

00:53:56week every game i ever talk about uh trench game trench game trench warfare it's gonna be another big

00:54:01one yeah you look at alabama you know that first loss of the season a lot of people start dumping on

00:54:06them a little bit yeah but they've been hot ty simpson's a legit heisman candidate at this point

00:54:11and these guys are tough man i mean you go into tuscaloosa it's going to be a tough game but

00:54:17i'm kind of liking the vols here so i didn't play this game because of that the bama's laying eight

00:54:24and a half at home i've played in the last three that's a lot i feel like this could get a be a

00:54:28little weird hairy game for bama where yeah they might get caught on their heels a little bit because

00:54:33you know it's it tennessee does have an 11 by their by their name but they haven't really looked as good

00:54:39in my opinion as bama has so maybe bama's just kind of oh fat and happy at home yeah and waiting

00:54:45for tennessee to roll in i i actually like tennessee with the points here uh because i think that offense

00:54:51makes them so live it's a bit weird so right now statistically tennessee has the best offense in the

00:54:56sec and the worst defense right like they basically lead in every category they basically bottom every

00:55:00category alabama's middle of the pack in both so it's it's it's it's it's it's a bit hard to parse i just

00:55:06view this as a game where like hmm it's gonna it's gonna be going tit for tat scoring wise

00:55:16and either like alabama's gonna have the ball last and come up with a touchdown to cover or maybe like

00:55:22kick a field goal to go up 10 or tennessee's gonna have the ball last and they'll end up scoring to

00:55:27cover uh i am gonna play tennessee with the eight and a half just because i think the offense makes

00:55:30them so live also after bama winning 16 a row in this series tennessee's now taking two of the last three

00:55:35both at home i want to add i want to add kaden proctor offensive lineman has gotten the ball

00:55:40love it i think the last two games anytime touchdown book it oh okay i like the kate

00:55:47and proctor or anything book is that your dream or yeah to just catch a pass at any or even just

00:57:32of the entire country notre dame's defense has struggled but now we're up to nine and a half nine

00:57:37and a half and it's also juiced on the other side which looks like it could flip to ten uh i'm with
