01:31what a what an enjoyable watch I mean it was just fun to watch when you don't have a dog in the fight
01:39if it's not your favorite squad or if you're just a fan of football isn't this the type of game you want
01:45back and forth timely stops you don't want just garbage defense but you know each team made plays and they
01:51had to on the defensive side and the Bengals just made a couple more plays and it felt like when
01:58there was that busted coverage and Pat Friermuth got loose with a couple minutes left you're like well
02:02feels like the Bengals are going to lose in heartbreaking fashion once again but Jamar Chase
02:08somehow is left wide open on a little crosser to get into field goal range a couple completions later

03:07doesn't need much he can throw with anticipation and on time he can go out there and throw for 340 yards
03:12uh on short notice so what a game by him um this division feels wide open all of a sudden you know
03:20Baltimore at one and five they're getting Lamar Jackson back and Roquan Smith after the bye week
03:26um other reinforcements could be back soon could they go on a run Bengals at three and four they're
03:32only a game and a half back of Pittsburgh at four and two uh Pittsburgh schedule all of a sudden
03:37really ramps up we'll talk about that here in a minute that's a pretty bad loss for the Steelers
03:42tonight I mean this was an opportunity to essentially put the Bengals to rest and sure
03:48Baltimore at even at one and five they still have two head-to-head games with the Steelers
03:53there's a scenario where they could creep back into it but you're four games up seven weeks into the
03:58season that's a pretty big cushion now Cincinnati's only a game and a half back instead of three
04:03three and a half back and the Ravens if they get hot they could make this a three-team division so
04:08you know from an entertainment standpoint not only tonight but big picture this was a good result for
04:14the league because now Pittsburgh's not going to run away with this at least not in my opinion
04:18they've got major holes defensively Jalen Ramsey looked absolutely horrendous tonight I mean he was
04:25getting torched it didn't matter if he was defending Tee Higgins it didn't matter if he was defending
04:29Jamar Chase he looked awful he looked awful Darius Slay is a cooked product
04:33um I mean they that is those corners can be had and they had a good plan for T.J. Watt
04:40in this game talking about Cincinnati give Zach Taylor credit they kept him in in jail most of the
04:46night uh you know him and Cam Hayward split a sack late in the game but you know at one point he had
04:5233 pass rush snaps and only one pressure I mean that's that's a pretty dominant performance by the
04:58Bengals offensive line and game planning there so just just a great win for Cincinnati and just
05:04enjoyable you know before I hopped on the mic here I'm listening to Joe Flacco and Jamar Chase
05:08on the on the prime video post game show with Sherman Whitworth Fitzpatrick and those guys and
05:14listening to Joe Flacco talk and I'm like you know what this guy's just cool he's got five kids at home
05:19he's talking about how you know mom probably let them stay up tonight it's just it's just cool and he
05:24said a few days ago you know they asked him like why keep going you know you've been kind of this
05:29journeyman backup fill-in starter the last six seven years like why keep doing this you know you've made
05:34all the money you've won a Super Bowl and he said you know what I you only get to play in the NFL once
05:41and as long as I'm enjoying it as long as my family's supportive I'm gonna keep going because I don't
05:48want to look back when I'm 50 55 and like man I could have played a couple more years I could have
05:53helped this team out I'm sure he loved the opportunity to get to fill in for Cincinnati
05:59when he got that call that he was getting traded not that he was had any beef with the Browns he
06:05had his magical moment there a couple years ago but they're rebuilding they're they're testing out
06:09Dylan Gabriel and Shador Sanders the Bengals Zach Taylor's in the hot seat Joe Burrows injured like
06:14they're desperate hey Joe come help us out we got two stud receivers what do you say he's just go out
06:19there and he's balling out I I just think it's cool man and you could tell he's enjoying it he's
06:24cracking jokes in the postgame set uh Jamar Chase is talking about how awesome it's been to play with
06:30him like I I just I just thought that was awesome tonight I just thought that was really really cool
06:35and you know I watched the whole game last week Bengals Packers and it started slow I mean he had
06:39been there like three days but in the second half he threw for almost 200 yards you're like okay
06:44like all right I don't know if they're gonna all of a sudden string off some wins here but
06:47this is a big upgrade over Jake Browning Joe Flacco still has a big arm he can throw with
06:53anticipation better uh hell he pulled a zone read late in the game for like 13 yards he actually
06:58doesn't move completely terribly um just enjoyable just very very enjoyable and again for the Steelers
07:07just a massive missed opportunity Aaron Rodgers with a couple of picks one where the defender just
07:13takes the ball away uh as his I think DK Metcalf is getting driven out of bounds the guy just rips it
07:19out uh one he just kind of forced a deep ball earlier in the game and those ended up being two
07:24huge plays in the game because Pittsburgh jumped out 10 nothing and all of a sudden they're down 17 10 at
07:28the half those takeaways kind of changed the the direction of this ball game tonight then the second
07:33half is just back and forth really really fun game two you know just 40 plus year old quarterback
07:39slinging it one of the oldest QB matchups in the history of the NFL I really enjoyed that tonight
07:44I really really enjoyed that tonight so we'll talk a little bit more big picture now take a look at

09:49and four now feels like they have some answers offensively didn't even mention Chase Brown had by
09:55far his best game of the season he was averaging 2.7 yards per carry coming into tonight how about 11
10:01carries for 108 yards 10 yards a clip so all of a sudden you can hit some downfield throws and
10:07lightens up the box a little bit you can run the football so feels like offensively they found some
10:12answers the question is uh Trey Hendrickson which we'll get to in a sec but I thought even their defense
10:17at times played better tonight again still too many open receivers but maybe they've got something to
10:23build on uh the Bengals moving forward this was such a pivotal game here's why who do they have
10:28next week the Jets at home now it's the NFL anything can happen well let's assume you win that game you
10:34get to four and four then you've got one game before the buy uh before the trade deadline the Bears at
10:39home this is a three-game homestand for Cincinnati that's probably a coin flip game maybe even uh Cincinnati
10:45a slight favorite if Joe Flacco keeps playing like this if you win that you're five and four if you
10:50haven't traded Trey Hendrickson at that point you probably keep him if you lose that then it becomes
10:55a coin flip if you get a big enough offer would you trade him uh it's going to be interesting I
11:00think winning tonight slows down the Trey Hendrickson trade stuff just a little bit again we'll talk a
11:05little bit more about the report in a second for Pittsburgh who's four and two still in a good spot but
11:10missed opportunity and here's why look at the schedule the next few weeks Packers at home Sunday night
11:16football Rodgers against his former team that is going to be a difficult game Colts at home Colts
11:21one of the best teams in the AFC right now at the Chargers by then Joe Alt should be back maybe even
11:27Khalil Mack uh and then you play the Bengals again so instead of being five and one before a few tough
11:33games and but at least having a cushion uh you're four and two and in your next three you know you're
11:40kind you're hoping to win two out of three you might even take one out of three so that this was this
11:45was not an ideal result tonight from Pittsburgh given their upcoming schedule so uh that is not
11:51ideal for them okay let's talk about Trey Hendrickson here as the Bengals pass rusher has been connected
11:59to Trey's trade buzz Adam Schefter mentioned it a few days ago we talked about that on a video earlier
12:04today and also Ian Arapaport like an hour before kickoff had a report that Trey Hendrickson is expected
12:12to be a big name trade candidate in that if the Bengals were to trade him they want a young player
12:18and a mid-round draft pick so probably depending on the caliber of player anywhere from a second to a
12:24fourth round pick they'd probably take a third uh if the player's decent enough if it's a really good
12:28young player maybe they'd even take a fourth that's kind of how I read that so it's going to be
12:33interesting one does tonight change things I think it at least opens the door for them to
12:39completely just say we're not trading you we're going to keep them next two weeks are vital Jets
12:43at home Bears at home if you at least split those if not win both you would think they would keep
12:47Trey Hendrickson and you know keep making this push especially if the Pittsburgh Steelers drop a
12:52couple more games here uh and two what teams are interested we know the 49ers uh would like to add a
12:59pass rusher the Philadelphia Eagles have not gotten much pass rush from their edge uh the Colts have
13:05been linked to Trey Hendrickson Lou Anarumo the former Bengals DC he is there uh the Bears could
13:11potentially take a swing here they'd have to move some money around uh Dennis Allen was Trey Hendrickson's
13:16DC uh earlier in his career in New Orleans the Bears could use an edge rusher as well um a few other
13:23teams um that could be in play here I saw something where maybe Dallas considering they have that extra
13:29draft capital would they take a swing for someone like Trey Hendrickson it's that would depend if
13:34you know they're they're in the playoff mix in the next few weeks right now they're probably more on
13:39the outside looking in so a lot of different angles does winning tonight slow down the trade discussions
13:44from uh Cincinnati's standpoint what type of offers are they getting what what young players could they
13:51get in return uh for Trey Hendrickson is that type of trade even out there like are they are they
13:56overplaying their hand with Hendrickson also what's the injury situation it sounds like he was close to
14:01playing tonight if it was a Sunday game instead of a Thursday maybe he does play um if he plays next
14:07week um then you know he's fine for a trade uh doesn't doesn't seem like it's a long-term injury
14:13but uh all of these factors uh come into play when it comes to a potential Trey Hendrickson trade he's
14:19definitely the biggest and hottest name out there in terms of who could get traded uh between now and
14:25the trade deadline here in just under three weeks on November 4th so gonna be very interesting to see
14:32how that plays out but for tonight fun win for Cincinnati bad loss for Pittsburgh I don't know
14:39how else to put it um you know sometimes you lose but just a missed opportunity and now Mike Tomlin
14:46two and ten on the road on Thursday night football just has not been a good spot for him road teams
14:51typically do struggle on Thursday night but two and ten not good not good not a great feeling uh
14:57waiting the next 10 days to play football again all right that's gonna do it uh for our reaction show
