00:47Three kids who found their voices on a tiny stage in a great world.
00:54Steel Valley Beacon is an our stage place where we laugh, learn, and dream out loud.
00:59After the fire in November last year, we lost almost £70,000 worth of costumes and props.
01:07Instead of beating ourselves up, we are making plans for the future and investing in our theatre company.

01:38Beacon Trusts have decided to invest in company for the future, providing us with access to some amazing new equipment.
01:55We have already managed to get a grant from the City Council to get a shipping container for our sets and props.
02:09We have bought a brand new portable screen which is massive and a state of the art projector so we can wow audiences with amazing effects.
02:19This screen also, we won't have to build a lot of tech, which is much better than the environment.
02:30This year, sorry, this year because Beacon, Christchurch and Noodle used the church as theatre, we've secured 25k of funding from the Arts Council to install new lights, which are industry standards.
02:48It's environmentally friendly and environmentally friendly LED lights.
02:57Tonight, we're actually in programs of £11,000 to help us build the whole future.

03:35This isn't just about putting on a shirt, it's about giving every child and the adult a chance to feel proud, to be seen and to believe their matter.
03:45We're not just building the kids come to make, we're building confidence, friendships and futures.

04:05So the people are disabled but not a kid, I joined Econ to find new friendships and instead a family family.
04:14And I know it sounds corny, but they carry you through every down that you have, every up that you have, and they're just a fantastic bunch.
04:22As you can see, our youth and our 11 and Unders do a fantastic job.
04:26If you've ever seen one of our shows, you will know just how hard they work.
04:32Blood Brothers has just been and gone, and lots of people have said it was just like sitting at the crucible and watching a real act.
04:38So with more help, more funding, we can put on more fantastic shows.
04:43And I'm sure you'll agree that if we get the money, it'll be put to good use where you will see it working in our youth.
