00:10The proceedings for the identification of illegal burials are being carried out at Carlos Cortés in the Valparaiso region,
00:17a place used as a detention center between 1973 and 1977.
00:23The fundamental objectives of this plan are to clarify the circumstances in which the events occurred
00:29and to determine the whereabouts of disappeared persons as well as the guarantee access to information and the participation of their relatives.
00:38According to reports from the Truth Commission, the total number of victims of the Pinochet dictatorship is more than 40,000,
00:44including those murdered, disappeared, imprisoned and tortured, not counting the 200,000 exiles.
