00:15It feels like this is the Red Sox opportunity to kind of, you know,
00:20allow themselves to play more of the young kids,
00:23allow Christian Campbell to have a second crack at the MLB.
00:25And then if that is the case, if that's how they're going to spin this,
00:30they need to then go and spend on other positions.
00:33They need to go and inquire another frontline starter in whether it's,
00:37you know, Joe Ryan, or I know the rumors about the Reds pitcher.
00:40I believe his name is Hunter Green is now kind of circulating as well.

00:45but you might have to trade somebody like Jaron Duran in order to make that happen.

00:57And then I think it's an opportunity for you to also bring in

01:12his name is now floating out there as well.
01:14You got Yoshida.
01:15I know originally we didn't really love the way that looked,
01:17but he came back this past year once he was healthy.
01:20He was hitting pretty well.
01:22So I think there's an opportunity there.
01:23Granted, I feel like he may just go to the Dodgers because the Dodgers seem to sign
01:26all good international players, but he's a power hitting first baseman.
01:30He is a lefty bat, which doesn't help you quite as much.
01:34But I think that's an opportunity there.
01:36So I will be able to be okay with Bregman leaving if you're going to allocate that money elsewhere.
01:44But you have to do that.
01:46You can't just bring up Campbell and be like, yep, this is our plan.
01:49We're rolling with this.
01:50You need to still go out and make moves and we can kind of work together and move forward.
01:55Well, and if we're holding them accountable, reminder, it's not just the Bregman money.
01:59It's also the Devers money.
02:00They have that money as well.
02:02And they told us that they have a team that they feel like can compete for a number of
02:09years because of the young talent that they have.
02:11And if they can add some pieces, good pieces around it, this could be a team that could
02:16contend for a World Series.
