TfL boss Andy Lord says he hopes unions will accept new pay deal

00:03and ensure that we engage extensively with our trade unions regarding pay and terms and conditions.

00:09Despite our pay offer being made in line with agreements accepted by the RMT in recent pay

00:14negotiations across the wider rail industry, regrettably the RMT chose to move forward with

00:19the industrial action and doing so without putting the offer to their members. Talks with our trade

00:24unions have continued and we have made a revised proposal to all of them which they are considering

00:30and I hope they will accept and put the proposal to their members and we can reach agreement

00:35as soon as possible.
