Mechanic-drivers of the “Yars” mobile strategic missile complex have successfully completed their final examinations following an extensive period of technical training.

Junior military specialists from the Technical School of the Strategic Missile Forces concluded their formation and passed the demanding qualification tests held at a dedicated military training ground.

During the practical stage, the future operators demonstrated precision and mastery while handling vehicles of considerable weight through narrow routes and rugged terrain, proving their capability to operate one of the world’s most formidable nuclear deterrent systems — the PGRK “Yars.”

Prior to the practical trials, the servicemen underwent theoretical examinations covering general military subjects and the in-depth structure and functioning of the “Yars” complex — a system engineered to safeguard the Russian Federation’s strategic nuclear readiness.

The technical school features a state-of-the-art training base with high-fidelity simulators and 3D visual systems, enabling trainees to hone their driving and operational skills under diverse weather and terrain conditions — a crucial factor in the tactical employment of the “Yars.”
