A shocking new development in the case of a senior Haryana IPS officer's suicide, as an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) has now also died by suicide in Rohtak.

02:35And in his suicide note, this cop is saying that the IPS officer was a corrupt man

02:42and committed suicide to escape the investigation.

02:51first serious allegations of casteism, discrimination and now of serious corruption.

03:02Well, it's a curious case of Rhotak suicide.

03:05Eight days after Vaipurankumar had committed suicide, shooting himself in sector 11 Chandigarh.

03:11There's a suicide. This is of a cyber cell ASI.

03:15Now why is he important is because he was part of the investigating team

03:19which was investigating corruption charges against gunmen of Vaipurankumar, who's Sushil Kumar.

03:26Thereafter, he was also being one of those who was going to be questioned by Chandigarh police at one point of time.

03:34There was no imminent pressure.

03:35The point is that the allegations leveled by Vaipurankumar, suicide note and the family

03:42has been directed majorly against IPS and IS officer, alleging caste-based discrimination.

03:50The suicide video that we see in Rhotak is the one which is very generic.

03:55He's not saying that he was being taunted or he kept saying he's an honest officer.

04:01But there's no particular allegation except for generalizing and stating that Vaipurankumar committed suicide

04:08only because he was going to be arrested under corruption charges.

04:12And that is a pressure he could not take.

04:14So, multi-layered dimensions coming in.

04:18This is a very complicated case.

04:20And what is being seen is an ASI who's not even directly involved

04:24or alleged to be one of those who is wanted in this particular case

04:28is the one committing suicide.
