Transkrip
00:00:00Selanjutnya, members of the Knesset,
00:00:06it is now my distinct honor to invite the President of the United States of America,
00:00:13His Excellency Donald J. Trump, to address the Knesset.
00:00:30Thank you very much. Thank you.
00:00:44Thank you very much, everybody.
00:00:49It's a great honor. Nice place. Very nice place.
00:00:54Mr. President, Mr. Prime Minister,
00:00:57Mr. Speaker, esteemed members of the Knesset,
00:01:01and cherished citizens of Israel,
00:01:05we gather on a day of profound joy, of soaring hope,
00:01:10of renewed faith, and above all,
00:01:13a day to give our deepest thanks to the almighty God of Abraham,
00:01:20Isaac, and Jacob.
00:01:21Thank you.
00:01:27After two harrowing years in darkness and captivity,
00:01:4720 courageous hostages are returning to the glorious embrace of their families,
00:01:53and it is glorious.
00:01:5528 more precious loved ones are coming home at last
00:01:59to rest in this sacred soil for all of time.
00:02:05And after so many years of unceasing war and endless danger,
00:02:09today the skies are calm, the guns are silent,
00:02:12the sirens are still, and the sun rises on a holy land that is finally at peace,
00:02:19a land and a region that will live, God willing, in peace for all eternity.
00:02:26This is not only the end of a war.
00:02:36This is the end of the age of terror and death
00:02:39and the beginning of the age of faith and hope and of God.
00:02:45It's the start of a grand concord and lasting harmony for Israel
00:02:50and all the nations of what will soon be a truly magnificent region.
00:02:56I believe that so strongly.
00:02:58This is the historic dawn of a new Middle East.
00:03:03I want to express my gratitude to a man of exceptional courage and patriotism
00:03:08whose partnership did so much to make this momentous day possible.
00:03:13You know who I'm talking about.
00:03:16There's only one.
00:03:17Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
00:03:20Maybe please stand up.
00:03:40And he is not easy, I want to tell you.
00:03:42He's not the easiest guy to deal with.
00:03:47But that's what makes him great.
00:03:49That's what makes him great.
00:03:58Thank you very much, baby.
00:04:00Great job.
00:04:07And let me also convey my tremendous appreciation
00:04:10for all of the nations of the Arab and Muslim world
00:04:14that came together to press Hamas,
00:04:16to set the hostages free and to send them home.
00:04:20We had a lot of help.
00:04:21We had a lot of help from a lot of people that you wouldn't suspect.
00:04:25And I want to thank them very much for that.
00:04:26It's an incredible triumph for Israel and the world
00:04:30to have all of these nations working together as partners in peace.
00:04:36And it's pretty unusual for you to see that.
00:04:39But it happened in this case.
00:04:40This was a very unusual point in time.
00:04:43A brilliant point in time.
00:04:45Generations from now, this will be remembered
00:04:49as the moment that everything began to change
00:04:52and change very much for the better.
00:04:56Like the USA right now,
00:04:58it will be the golden age of Israel
00:05:00and the golden age of the Middle East.
00:05:03It's going to work together.
00:05:05I'd like to thank several great American patriots
00:05:08for their invaluable help in getting something done
00:05:11that almost everyone thought was absolutely impossible.
00:05:16We were wasting our time.
00:05:17So many people said,
00:05:19you're just wasting your time.
00:05:21But we weren't
00:05:22because we had talented people working with us.
00:05:25And we had people that love your country
00:05:28and frankly, people that love the region.
00:05:30They love the Middle East.
00:05:31I want to thank my friend Steve Whitcoff.
00:05:34You know, Steve was chosen by me.
00:06:03He never did this before,
00:06:04but I knew him as a few things.
00:06:08He was a great businessman,
00:06:09but I know a lot of great businessmen,
00:06:11to be honest with you.
00:06:12He had tremendous negotiating skills,
00:06:15but I know a lot of people that negotiate pretty well,
00:06:17although it is an art.
00:06:20But there are people that can negotiate pretty well.
00:06:23But most importantly with Steve,
00:06:25he's just a great guy.
00:06:27Everybody loved him.
00:06:30Everybody.
00:06:30I mean, I know some negotiators that are so good,
00:06:39but you wouldn't have had peace in the Middle East.
00:06:41You'd be in World War III right now
00:06:43with some of these guys.
00:06:45Everybody loves Steve and they respect him
00:06:48and they somehow can relate to him.
00:06:51I've known him for many years
00:06:52and I've seen it over and over again.
00:06:55I've seen it over again.
00:07:25Terima kasih.
00:07:55Terima kasih.
00:08:25Steve started this all by himself.
00:08:28I call him Henry Kissinger, who doesn't leak.
00:08:31Okay?
00:08:32Henry is a big leaker.
00:08:34He leaked.
00:08:36Steve doesn't leak.
00:08:37Steve just wants to get the job done.
00:08:39He wants to do what's right.
00:08:40But I'll give you just a quick story, because as you know, he's working on the war with Russia
00:08:46and Ukraine, a war that would have never happened if I were president, a shame.
00:08:517,000 young soldiers a week are being killed.
00:08:55More than that this last week.
00:08:57It's a shame that it never happened.
00:08:59But it did happen, and we won the race, and I took over this horrible war that's been
00:09:06raging, and I thought it would be easily settled.
00:09:10I thought it was a hell of a lot easier than doing what we just did very successfully with
00:09:16Israel and a lot of other people.
00:09:19But this came first, and we'll get that one.
00:09:22But I set up a meeting for him to meet with President Putin, thinking it would be a 15- or
00:09:27a 20-minute meeting.
00:09:28Steve had no idea about Russia.
00:09:30I had no idea about Putin too much.
00:09:32Didn't know too much about politics.
00:09:34Wasn't that interested.
00:09:35He was really good at real estate, but he had that quality that I was looking for, and
00:09:40I didn't see it around in too many ways.
00:09:42And I set up the meeting with Putin, and I called.
00:09:46I said, is Steve finished yet?
00:09:48That was about a half an hour into the meeting.
00:09:51No, sir, he's not.
00:09:52He's still inside.
00:09:53This is in Moscow.
00:09:55I said, well, how's he doing?
00:09:56I don't know, sir.
00:09:57He's still inside.
00:09:57I called up an hour later.
00:09:59Let me speak to Steve.
00:10:00Sir, he's still with Putin.
00:10:02He's with President Putin.
00:10:04I said, wow, that's a long meeting.
00:10:06One hour.
00:10:07I called up an hour later.
00:10:09He's still with Putin.
00:10:10Three hours later, he was still with Putin.
00:10:12Four hours later, he started to get the word that he was going to be coming out soon.
00:10:18And in five hours, he came out.
00:10:21I said, what the hell were you talking about for five hours?
00:10:25And he says, just a lot of interesting things.
00:10:28We just, we're talking about a lot of interesting things, including what he went
00:10:34in there for, but you can't talk about it for five.
00:10:36You can talk about it for a certain period of time, and you know what you're getting.
00:10:41But that's a talent.
00:10:43That's a talent where you can do that.
00:10:45Most people I'd send in, number one, they wouldn't be accepted.
00:10:47Number two, if they were, the meeting would last five minutes.
00:10:52And that's what happens with Steve.
00:10:53Everybody loves him.
00:10:55They love him on this side.
00:10:56They love him on the other side.
00:10:57And he really is.
00:10:59He's a great negotiator because he's a great guy.
00:11:02So thank you very much, Steve.
00:11:04Very much.
00:11:04Thank you.
00:11:05And let me also give a very special thanks to someone who truly loves Israel.
00:11:26in fact, loves it so much that my daughter converted.
00:11:34My daughter converted.
00:11:36I didn't know this was going to happen.
00:11:42And Ivanka is here.
00:11:44Thank you.
00:11:46Thank you.
00:11:48Thank you.
00:11:50Thank you.
00:11:52Thank you.
00:11:54Thank you.
00:11:54Thank you.
00:11:55Thank you.
00:11:55Thank you.
00:11:55Thank you.
00:11:55Thank you.
00:11:55Thank you.
00:11:56And, Bibi, you do know this was not in the cards for me.
00:12:03You understand that.
00:12:04And she is so happy and they are so happy.
00:12:07At least I think they're happy.
00:12:10If they're not, we have a big story, right?
00:12:13No, they have a great marriage and they get along great.
00:12:16They're best friends.
00:12:17They have a very special relationship.
00:12:19But Jared has been so helpful.
00:12:22He really did.
00:12:23He really did something very special.
00:12:27He established the Abraham Accords with a group of very wonderful people.
00:12:34I like calling it the Avraham Accords because people that...
00:12:39of the Avraham, it's so cool, it's so much sort of nicer, you know, the Abraham versus the Avraham.
00:12:55I just don't want to sound too sanctimonious when I do it.
00:13:05So, you know, I sort of split it up.
00:13:08This way we keep everybody happy.
00:13:10But we have some very great talent and they have no excuses for anything that's taken place
00:13:20because we had some unbelievably good people working on this.
00:13:24And then you're going to add a man named Marco Rubio, who is also here.
00:13:32That's right.
00:13:33And I have a prediction that Marco will go down, I mean this, as the greatest secretary of state
00:13:57in the history of the United States, I believe that, I believe it.
00:14:08And he and I, you know, we really fought it out.
00:14:10You remember, he was tough.
00:14:12He was nasty.
00:14:14Who the hell thought this was going to happen, Marco, right?
00:14:17And now I'm saying he's going to go down as the greatest.
00:14:20He will.
00:14:21He was always he was always smart and sharp and people respect him.
00:14:29And then we have somebody who's young, but an unbelievable leader.
00:14:33I saw it a long time ago and he's turned out to be even better, even better than we thought.
00:14:38Right, Susie?
00:14:39I think even better.
00:14:41And that's Pete Hegseth, who is our secretary of war, formerly secretary of defense.
00:14:46And as you know, we decisively won World War I.
00:15:06We decisively won World War II decisively.
00:15:11And everything in between and everything before it, we won everything.
00:15:16And then they had the brilliant idea of changing the name from war, you know, it was war to defense.
00:15:26And with that went a certain thinking.
00:15:29And we fought in a very politically correct way after that.
00:15:32We always had the strongest military.
00:15:35Now we have a stronger military than we've ever had before.
00:15:37Because of my first term, I've totally rebuilt the military, every aspect of it.
00:15:43But we have, if you think, we settled eight wars in eight months.
00:15:50I'm now including this one, by the way, if that's okay.
00:15:53They may say, well, that was quick.
00:15:56Because yesterday I was saying seven, but now I can say eight.
00:15:58The hostages are back.
00:16:00The hostages are back.
00:16:02The hostages are back.
00:16:04It is a good feeling.
00:16:26Isn't that nice to say, you know, I just said the hostages, first time I said the hostages are back.
00:16:31It sounds, it feels so good to say it.
00:16:37But when you settle eight wars in eight months, that means you don't like war.
00:16:41Everyone thought I was going to be brutal.
00:16:43In fact, I remember Hillary Clinton during a debate.
00:16:46She said, look at him, look at him.
00:16:48He's going to go to war with everybody.
00:16:51And actually, she said, he's got a personality that's all about war.
00:16:55No, my personality actually is all about stopping wars.
00:16:59And it seems to work.
00:17:01Seems to work.
00:17:02But it also means this name change and our attitude that we're not going to go into a war.
00:17:13But if we do, we're going to win that war like nobody has ever won a war before.
00:17:19We will not be politically correct.
00:17:21But we're not going to be there.
00:17:23And I think, you know, as you mentioned, Bibi, before, peace through strength.
00:17:28And that's what it's all about.
00:17:29The United States has the greatest and most powerful military in the right now history of the world.
00:17:40I can tell you we have weapons that nobody's ever dreamt of.
00:17:45I only hope we never have to use them.
00:17:47I rebuilt the military.
00:17:50I was proud to do it.
00:17:51But some of the things I hated to do, I hated certain of the weapons because the level of power is so enormous.
00:17:59It's so dangerous, so bad.
00:18:01But we have to do what we have to do.
00:18:03We make the best weapons in the world, and we've got a lot of them.
00:18:08And we've given a lot to Israel, frankly.
00:18:11And .
00:18:34I mean, Bibi would call me so many times, can you get me this weapon, that weapon, that weapon?
00:18:39Some of them I never heard of, Bibi, and I made them.
00:18:43But we'd get them here, wouldn't we?
00:18:45And they are the best.
00:18:46They are the best.
00:18:47And you, but you used them well.
00:18:49It also takes people that know how to use them.
00:18:51And you obviously used them very well.
00:18:54But so many that Israel became strong and powerful, which ultimately led to peace.
00:18:59That's what led to peace.
00:19:04So as we celebrate today, let us remember how this nightmare of depravity and death all began.
00:19:12Two years ago, on the eve of the Simchat Torah holiday, thousands of innocent Israeli civilians were attacked by terrorists.
00:19:23And one of the most evil and heinous desecrations of innocent life the world has ever seen.
00:19:30The worst slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust.
00:19:34The cruelty of October 7th struck to the core of humanity itself.
00:19:40Nobody could believe what they were witnessing.
00:19:43The United States of America grieved alongside you.
00:19:46And we mourn for our own citizens who were so viciously taken that day.
00:19:52And to all the families whose lives were forever changed by the atrocities of that day.
00:19:59And all of the people of Israel, please know that America joins you in those two everlasting vows.
00:20:07Never forget and never again.
00:20:10From October 7th until this week, Israel has been a nation at war.
00:20:37Enduring burdens that only a proud and faithful people could withstand.
00:20:43It was a very tough period of time.
00:20:46For so many families across this land, it has been years since you've known a single day of true peace.
00:20:53But now at last, not only for Israelis, but also for Palestinians and for many others.
00:21:01The long and painful nightmare is finally over.
00:21:06And as the dust settles, the smoke fades, the debris is removed and the ashes clean from the air.
00:21:15The day that breaks on a region transformed and a beautiful and much brighter future appears suddenly within your reach.
00:21:24This is now a very exciting time for Israel and for the entire Middle East, because all across the Middle East, the forces of chaos, terror and ruin that have plagued the region for decades now stand weakened, isolated and totally defeated.
00:21:44A new coalition of proud and responsible nations is emerging.
00:21:53We are in retreat thanks to the bravery and incredible skill of the Israeli Defense Forces and Operation Rising Lion.
00:22:03Thank you.
00:22:24Thank you.
00:22:26That's central casting.
00:22:28Let's put him in a movie.
00:22:29Look at him.
00:22:30Great job.
00:22:31And my people loved working with you.
00:22:34Loved it.
00:22:36They worked so well together.
00:22:40But many of Iran's top terrorists, including nuclear scientists and commanders have been extinguished from this Earth.
00:22:49And with Operation Midnight Hammer, boy, that's a great name for that, what we did last June.
00:22:59The United States military flew seven of those beautiful B-2 bombers.
00:23:03They looked so beautiful all of a sudden.
00:23:05They were always I thought they were pretty planes.
00:23:09I had no idea they could do what they did.
00:23:11In fact, we just ordered 28 more of them.
00:23:14A little update, a little updated version.
00:23:19We ordered a whole pile of them and almost 100 other planes went with them, including fighter jets.
00:23:27We had 52 tankers, big, beautiful, brand new tankers that were loading them up four or five times.
00:23:34They've traveled 37 hours back and forth.
00:23:38Think of that.
00:23:39But we had tankers all over the sky for all the other planes.
00:23:42We had the F-22s, the F-35s, F-16s.
00:23:46We had a hell of a lot of planes.
00:23:54So we had 52 gas stations in the sky.
00:23:57That's what they call them.
00:23:59I'll tell you, I wouldn't want to be flying one of them.
00:24:01We have our great General Raisin Cane right here.
00:24:05General, stand up.
00:24:06This guy.
00:24:07What a general.
00:24:09Thank you.
00:24:13Thank you.
00:24:17I asked General Cain, I said, you know, we're having problems with ISIS and I was in Washington.
00:24:34And I asked how long would it take to defeat ISIS?
00:24:39And my Washington generals told me three, four, maybe five years, sir.
00:24:44I said, I don't get it.
00:24:45We've got the best equipment in the world.
00:24:47Why?
00:24:48So I flew to Iraq and I met with a man named Cain.
00:24:53He said, what's your first name?
00:24:54He said, they call me Raisin, sir.
00:24:57I said, wait a minute.
00:24:58Your name is Raisin Cain?
00:25:00I've been looking for you for a long time.
00:25:04You got to be kidding.
00:25:06So they told me three, four, five years to defeat ISIS.
00:25:09And I sit down with him and I say, why is it?
00:25:12I flew there in the dark of night.
00:25:15I land.
00:25:16I'll never forget it.
00:25:17It's quite a trip.
00:25:18I'm glad I made it because I met him.
00:25:20I said, could I ask you, General?
00:25:22I come down.
00:25:23He's standing with another general and a sergeant.
00:25:25And everybody was like central casting.
00:25:27They could go into a movie right now between him and you guys over here.
00:25:32We could get rich making movies.
00:25:34Okay.
00:25:35But, but, and they got along so great.
00:25:37That's the beautiful thing that your military and army, Bibi, got along so great.
00:25:43But, but I was told by the television generals in Washington, we have the best equipment in
00:25:51the world.
00:25:52Why is it taking so long?
00:25:54And they said, four years.
00:25:56I said, so let me ask you, Raisin, how long would it take you to defeat ISIS?
00:26:03Sir, we can do it in three weeks, but you'll probably have some time left over.
00:26:07I said, you've got to be kidding.
00:26:09What the hell are you talking about?
00:26:10They said, four years.
00:26:12I said, well, sir, look, it's not my place to say, but you're asking me the question.
00:26:19What you have to do is you hit him from the west.
00:26:22You hit him from the north.
00:26:23You hit him from the south.
00:26:25You hit him above.
00:26:25You hit him below.
00:26:27I said, so why didn't they do it?
00:26:29And he didn't want to speak badly of his superiors, which is hard to believe they were
00:26:34his superiors.
00:26:35could have been the other way around a long time ago, because he's the one that did operation.
00:26:40And it was flawless.
00:26:42It was flawless.
00:26:43It was absolutely.
00:26:44And I said, so you really think you can do it in four weeks?
00:26:51Yes, sir.
00:26:51One hundred percent.
00:26:52You have to do it differently than they were doing it.
00:26:55They were using one base and it was hundreds of miles away.
00:26:58And he says, we have all these portable bases all over the Middle East and they didn't want
00:27:04to use them because they didn't want to offend the country where the portable they wouldn't
00:27:08have even known what the hell the planes were going up, right?
00:27:11They wouldn't have known.
00:27:12But he said, no, they didn't want to defend anybody, offend anybody.
00:27:17And but we can do it in four weeks.
00:27:19I said, you sure about that?
00:27:21I'm going to call you back.
00:27:22I'll call you back on Monday.
00:27:24I'm going back to Washington.
00:27:25But you think four weeks?
00:27:27Yes, sir.
00:27:28I think we can do it in four weeks.
00:27:29We'll have time left over.
00:27:30So I call him on Monday.
00:27:32I say, you think you can do it four weeks?
00:27:35I said, go ahead and do it.
00:27:36He did it.
00:27:37I'll tell you, he did it in four weeks, less than four weeks.
00:27:39So, General, stand up, please.
00:27:43Again.
00:27:44This is a real general.
00:27:47This is not a television general.
00:27:49He doesn't want to go on television.
00:27:51He doesn't want to go on television.
00:27:59He doesn't want to go on television.
00:28:01I said the other guys love being on television.
00:28:05So we dropped 14 bombs on Iran's key nuclear facilities, totally, as I said, originally obliterating
00:28:12them.
00:28:13And that's been confirmed.
00:28:14And everybody understands it.
00:28:16Together, we stopped the number one state sponsor of terror from obtaining the world's
00:28:21most dangerous weapons.
00:28:23And if you think about it, if we didn't do that, and assuming we made the same deal
00:28:30that we have today, there'd be a dark cloud over this deal.
00:28:35And number one, it wouldn't happen because the other Arab and Muslim nations really wouldn't
00:28:40feel comfortable making the deal that we have now.
00:28:43Right.
00:28:44If Iran had that nuclear weapon that they were about two months away from having, they would
00:28:49have had it in two months or maybe less than that.
00:28:52They were right.
00:28:53This was our last shot.
00:28:55They looked at it for 22 years.
00:28:58This was our last shot.
00:28:59The pilots told me that they said, 22 years, sir.
00:29:02They looked at it.
00:29:03Our predecessors looked.
00:29:05They studied it three times a year.
00:29:07We'd do drills on that exact attack.
00:29:09And boy, did they get it right.
00:29:12But let's assume they didn't.
00:29:13And let's assume there was large scale nuclear weapons in the hands of Iran.
00:29:20We couldn't be here today, even if we signed the deal, which we couldn't do because a lot
00:29:24of people would not want to have anything to do with it.
00:29:27We took a big cloud off of the Middle East and off of Israel.
00:29:32And it was my honor to help, but isn't it true, though, that can you imagine the same, let's
00:29:59assume maybe the same documents.
00:30:02We had everything the same.
00:30:03But you had somebody out there that was, in the opinion of everybody, all powerful in
00:30:09the Middle East.
00:30:10They took a big hit, didn't they?
00:30:13Didn't they take a big hit?
00:30:15Boy, oh, boy.
00:30:16They got it from one side, from the other.
00:30:19And you know, it would be great if we could make a peace deal with them.
00:30:22And I think that's me.
00:30:23Would you be happy with that?
00:30:24Wouldn't it be nice?
00:30:25Because I think they want to.
00:30:28I think they're tired.
00:30:30Somebody said, sir, they're starting their nuclear program again.
00:30:33I said, let me tell you something.
00:30:34They're not starting anything.
00:30:36They want to survive.
00:30:38The last thing they want to do is start digging holes again in mountains that just got blown
00:30:42up and start.
00:30:44They're not doing this.
00:30:45They want to survive.
00:30:46OK, but I think we have a chance.
00:30:48Steve, you and I think Jared, come on, I'll call you back for another one.
00:30:54We always bring Jared when we want to get that deal closed.
00:30:57We bring Jared.
00:30:58But Steve, you and Jared and the general and Pete and Marco, you'll get that deal done easy.
00:31:05I think that'll be easy.
00:31:06But first, we have to get Russia done.
00:31:07We got to get that one done.
00:31:09If you don't mind, Steve, let's focus on Russia first.
00:31:12All right.
00:31:13We'll get it done.
00:31:16In Lebanon, the dagger of Hezbollah, long aimed at Israel's throat, has been totally shattered.
00:31:24My administration is actively supporting the new president of Lebanon and his mission
00:31:30to permanently disarm Hezbollah's terror brigades.
00:31:33He's doing very well.
00:31:36And build a thriving state at peace with its neighbors.
00:31:40And you're very much in favor of that, I know.
00:31:43And good things are happening there, really good things.
00:31:47And with this week's ceasefire, we've achieved the most challenging breakthrough of them all.
00:31:52The most challenging breakthrough maybe ever.
00:31:54I mean, I've never seen anything like that.
00:31:56I've been involved in a lot of success.
00:31:59I have never seen anything like what's going on today all over the world.
00:32:03People are dancing in the streets, not just in Israel.
00:32:06They're dancing in the streets of countries that would have never danced in the street about what's happening today.
00:32:13They're dancing in those streets.
00:32:15So this long and difficult war has now ended.
00:32:21You know, some people say 3,000 years.
00:32:24Some people say 500 years.
00:32:26Whatever it is, it's the granddaddy of them all.
00:32:31And in an unprecedented achievement, virtually the entire region has endorsed the plan that Gaza will be immediately demilitarized.
00:32:40That Hamas will be disarmed.
00:32:43And Israel's security will no longer be threatened in any way, shape, or form.
00:32:51So Israel, with our help, has won all that they can by force of arms.
00:33:07You've won.
00:33:08I mean, you've won.
00:33:09Now it's time to translate these victories against terrorists on the battlefield into the ultimate prize of peace and prosperity for the entire Middle East.
00:33:19It's about time you were able to enjoy the fruits of your labor, Mr. Opposition Leader.
00:33:26He's a nice opposition leader.
00:33:27I said he's a very nice opposition leader.
00:33:29I think.
00:33:30No, he's a nice man.
00:33:32Bebe, he's a nice man.
00:33:35He knows what he's doing, right?
00:33:42No, he's a very nice guy.
00:33:45Well, see, now you can be a little bit nicer, Bebe, because you're not at war anymore, Bebe.
00:33:54But only by embracing the opportunities of this moment can we achieve our goal of ensuring that the horrors of recent years will never happen again.
00:34:10You don't want to have to go through this again.
00:34:12Eight years ago I came to this region on a very special first trip abroad as the President of the United States.
00:34:19I came here very early at your request.
00:34:22I addressed the leaders of the Arab and Muslim world gathered in Saudi Arabia and said that it was time to build a future free of the grip of extremism and terror.
00:34:34And interestingly, right now, as soon as I'm finished, I'm quite late.
00:34:38You've kept me quite late between opposition leaders and Bebe's brilliant but very long speech.
00:34:44I thought I was going to run up here, make a speech, and then head to Egypt.
00:34:50It didn't work out, though.
00:34:52And you made a pretty long one, too, sir.
00:35:05But I liked what you all said.
00:35:06It could be worse.
00:35:07Supposing, on top of it, I didn't like what you said.
00:35:10That would be no good, Ron, would it?
00:35:13You did a great job, by the way, Ron.
00:35:31So I'm going to be meeting, actually, in a little while.
00:35:34I'm going to be meeting with the most powerful, the richest nations, really, in the world.
00:35:39Although now, with the tariffs, the United States is by far the richest nation in the world, as you probably have been reading.
00:35:45But the richest nations, most powerful nations, you know, tremendous, tremendous.
00:35:51Headed by some tremendous people in many cases.
00:35:54Some cases, I wouldn't say necessarily I would endorse.
00:35:57But I will tell you, some incredible people that really helped us make this all possible.
00:36:03So I'll be going there.
00:36:04I'll be quite late.
00:36:05They might not be there by the time I get there.
00:36:08But we're going to give it a shot.
00:36:11But the journey we started back then led to the crushing defeat of the ISIS caliphate,
00:36:17to the monumental Abraham Accords, and ultimately to the historic ceasefire this week,
00:36:23in which many of those same nations really played a very pivotal role, I have to tell you.
00:36:28Steve will tell you that.
00:36:29Jared will tell you that.
00:36:31Together, we've shown that peace is not just a hope that we can dream about.
00:36:36It's a reality we can build upon day by day, person by person, and nation by nation.
00:36:43And because of that, the Middle East is finally ready to embrace its extraordinary potential.
00:36:49You have extraordinary potential in this region.
00:36:52It should now be clear to everyone throughout the region that decades of fomenting terrorism and extremism, jihadism and anti-Semitism have not worked.
00:37:04They haven't worked.
00:37:05They've been a disaster.
00:37:07They've just killed.
00:37:08They've just killed.
00:37:09They've killed.
00:37:14They've backfired completely and totally.
00:37:16They've just totally backfired.
00:37:18Everything that you thought, take it worst case, it's turned out to be worse than that.
00:37:24They have not worked.
00:37:25From Gaza to Iran, those bitter hatreds have delivered nothing but misery, suffering, failure, and death.
00:37:34They've served not to weaken Israel, but to annihilate the very forces that did the most to foment this hatred.
00:37:44And it's really, I mean, everybody that's tried it has become irrelevant.
00:37:50Meanwhile, we've seen those nations that set aside their differences, reached across ancient divides, and pursued engagement, are now among the most successful in the region.
00:38:01They're getting along with Israel, and they're doing great.
00:38:05And I can tell you the four nations that joined the Abraham Accords early on.
00:38:12And you'd all be doing me a favor, and I'm going to be saying this in a little while to some other friends.
00:38:18We'd love you all to, is this right, Jared?
00:38:22Join up in the Abraham Accords.
00:38:25We have to join up and get together.
00:38:27You can have that whole thing filled out.
00:38:29We had a very weak administration, worst president in the history of our country by far.
00:38:36And Barack Obama was not far behind, by the way.
00:38:48And they did nothing with this incredible document, the Abraham Accords, but now you can fill them up.
00:38:54Now you have peace, you have people that really like Israel.
00:38:58I'll tell you what, and they like Israel a lot more today than they did even five weeks ago.
00:39:03You've made a lot of, you've come back, you've come back strong because it was getting to be a little nasty out there in the world.
00:39:10And ultimately, the world wins. You can't beat the world.
00:39:13I would say to Bibi, Bibi, it's now time.
00:39:17And he understood it better than anybody, because ultimately, you know, the world's a very big place.
00:39:23And I've said a lot. I said, this piece of land is very small.
00:39:28It's unbelievable what you've done with that tiny.
00:39:31You look at a map even of just not the world, the Middle East, and you have this little dot.
00:39:37And think of what you've done. It's incredible.
00:39:39It's incredible. It's incredible.
00:39:59But the world is loving. The world is loving Israel again.
00:40:04And I said to Bibi, you know, the world is big and it's strong.
00:40:09And Ron, ultimately, the world wins. And we don't have to worry about that now.
00:40:13But there was getting to be a period of time over the last few months.
00:40:18You know, the world wanted peace and Israel wanted peace. Everybody did. Everybody did.
00:40:23And what a victory it's been, right? What a victory it's been.
00:40:27If you would have gone on for three, four more years, keep fighting, fighting, fighting.
00:40:31It was it was getting bad. It was getting heated.
00:40:35The timing of this is brilliant. And I said, Bibi, you're going to be remembered for this far more than if you kept this thing going, going, going.
00:40:44Kill, kill, kill. It would be not. It would not be the same.
00:40:49And I just want to congratulate you for having the courage to say, that's it.
00:40:54We've won. And now let's enjoy our lives and let's rebuild Israel and make it stronger and bigger and better than it's ever been before.
00:41:03You're going to do that. Took a lot of guts.
00:41:07And the choice for Palestinians could not be more clear. This is their chance to turn forever from the path of terror and violence.
00:41:19It's been extreme to exile the wicked forces of hate that are in their midst.
00:41:25And I think that's going to happen. I've met some people over the last couple of months that want to see it happen very much.
00:41:32And after tremendous pain and death and hardship, now is the time to concentrate on building their people up instead of trying to tear Israel down.
00:41:43We don't want that to happen again.
00:41:44And the total focus of Gazans must be on restoring the fundamentals of stability, safety, dignity and economic development so they can finally have the better life that their children really do deserve after all these decades of horror.
00:42:03I intend to be a partner in this effort in the sense that we're going to help and we're going to do something that became unbelievably popular.
00:42:13Everybody wants to be on it. It's called the Board of Peace. OK, how about that? Is that a beautiful name like a board of peace?
00:42:28The only bad thing from my standpoint, every single nation involved has asked me to be the chair.
00:42:35And I'll tell you, I'm very busy. I didn't count on that. But you know what? If we do it, we'll do it right.
00:42:41And we have unbelievable power and wealth because you're going to need wealth.
00:42:46You're going to need wealth to rebuild things. And they have wealth like few people have wealth.
00:42:53I want to thank the Arab and Muslim nations for their commitment as they've made to support a safe rebuilding of Gaza and beyond.
00:43:02I have many Arab countries, very wealthy countries that came up and said, we'll put up tremendous amounts of money to get rebuilt, rebuild Gaza.
00:43:14And I think that's going to happen. The power. They want dignity. They want to come forward.
00:43:19And they want to say and I want to say who they are, because what they're doing is going to be, I think, something that you're going to be very impressed with, Bibi.
00:43:26And you need that. You need the kind of economic power that they have and they want to see it work.
00:43:33And they want to see it be safe and they want to see it be good for Israel, too.
00:43:38And as much money as it will be, and it's a lot, as you can see, it's a lot for these countries, it's relatively little relative to their worth.
00:43:54It's really a lot of money, like money like most people could never even conceive.
00:43:59But for these countries, it's not that much, especially because it ensures success and stability in the Middle East, which is what they want to see.
00:44:07So many of them will be with us in Egypt in a little while, I think. I'm not sure. They may be gone.
00:44:14They may have taken their Boeing 747s and left.
00:44:19I said, what kind of a plane do you fly? 747. I said, that's a large plane.
00:44:26No, they may have. Steve, do you think they've left on their Boeing 7, their brand new Boeing 747s?
00:44:32I don't know. We're going to find out soon. It's going to be a big story.
00:44:37There'll be two people left and they'll be the two poorest ones.
00:44:42But it will be the wealthiest and most powerful group of nations.
00:44:54So the group that we have assembled, that's waiting for us, is the wealthiest and most powerful group ever assembled at one time.
00:45:03There has never been a group like this. And they're only looking for good.
00:45:07They want good. They're going to do good. And as those commitments are made, I'm going to let the world know who's doing it because they really deserve to get the credit.
00:45:16And some of them probably won't want the credit, but they deserve it.
00:45:20It's more obvious than ever that the productive and responsible nations of this region should not be enemies or adversaries.
00:45:28You should be partners and eventually even friends. And that's what's going to happen. I know it.
00:45:33Together, you can stand against the forces of chaos. Yeah, you go ahead.
00:45:38That's an important point.
00:45:42Because you can stand against the forces of chaos that threatened all of your interests.
00:45:50And it's always a big threat, always a big threat and unleash incredible prosperity and opportunity for all the people of these lands.
00:45:59And that's what's going to happen. You're going to unleash numbers and success, the likes of which Israel has never been able to think of,
00:46:07because you're so firm and you should be. And you've done the right thing in defending yourself.
00:46:13You're not going to have to worry so much about it. You've won and now you can build and you can do things that you never even thought possible.
00:46:21When you put that genius into doing something else, it's going to be something that's going to be a miracle.
00:46:27The miracle in the desert, it's going to be amazing. And it already is in a true sense.
00:46:32But it'll be wonderful when you can spend time thinking about other than war and defense and offense also.
00:46:39To that end, it's my firm hope and dream, frankly, that together the Abraham Accords will turn out to be everything that we thought they would.
00:46:50Those four countries were very, very brave in doing it. They did it at a very early point.
00:46:55And every single one of them benefits unbelievably financially.
00:47:00And if you noticed, even in this bad period that we just went through, they all remained a member of the Abraham Accords.
00:47:08They've done unbelievably well. And I just and you know who you are. And I want to thank you.
00:47:13And they've stayed because of loyalty, but they've also stayed because it was really good business.
00:47:20They've made a lot of money being members.
00:47:23And you're going to all I think I hope that everyone of I hope that every one of the countries that we're seeking, Jared, I hope they join quickly.
00:47:34No games, no nothing. Just join. Get it. It's going to be a great peacemaker.
00:47:38It's really going to bring it together beyond any anybody's wildest dream.
00:47:44So instead of building fortresses to keep enemies at bay, the nations of this region should be building infrastructure to weave your commerce closer together.
00:47:54Because you've got to compete with a big world out there in commerce now.
00:47:57It's a different kind of competition. Instead of making weapons and missiles, the wealth of this region should float to schools and medicine industry.
00:48:06And frankly, the new hot thing, artificial intelligence.
00:48:12It's a lot of intelligence you're going to have to be thrown off to make to pay back these sums of money that they're doing.
00:48:21But that's that's really the hot one. And I might say that the United States a year ago was a dead country.
00:48:29I say it to people. I heard it first from the king of Saudi Arabia.
00:48:33I haven't heard it from UAE. I heard it from Qatar. I heard it from many other countries.
00:48:39A year ago, the United States of America was a dead country.
00:48:44Now it's the hottest country anywhere in the world. It is the hottest. There's no question about it.
00:48:55In fact, if you go back a year ago before the election, although once we had November 5th, we became hot because people got it.
00:49:02I would say November 5th was a time that we became really hot.
00:49:06But once you go back a couple of years, if I were in charge and the country is doing what they would, nobody was going to ask me to speak.
00:49:13Nobody asked Joe Biden to come up and speak. I guarantee you that.
00:49:16And if they did, he would have turned them down. I promise you he didn't speak.
00:49:20He didn't speak and he didn't speak well.
00:49:23But all of the countries in the Middle East, it could have what we what we're doing now, it could have happened a long time ago.
00:49:31But it was strangled and set back almost irretrievably by the administrations of Barack Obama and then Joe Biden.
00:49:39It was there was a hatred toward Israel. It was an absolute hatred.
00:49:44The setbacks really started when President Obama signed the Iran nuclear deal.
00:49:49This was a disaster for Israel and it was a disaster for everyone.
00:49:53And I remember that Bibi Netanyahu came to the United States and worked so hard to try and get Obama not to do that deal.
00:50:10He worked so hard. And but it was like talking to a wall.
00:50:17I remember telling me it was like talking to a wall. They wanted to go with Iran.
00:50:22They chose Iran, frankly, over a lot of other good nations, but specifically Israel.
00:50:28And that was the beginning of a very bad period of time.
00:50:31You had Obama go out and the Iran nuclear deal turned out to be a disaster.
00:50:37And by the way, I terminated the Iran nuclear deal and I was very proud to do it.
00:50:57Yet even to Iran, whose regime has inflicted so much death on the Middle East, the hand of friendship and cooperation is open.
00:51:05I'm telling you they want to make a deal. That's all I do in my life.
00:51:09I make deals. I'm good at it. I've always been good at it.
00:51:13And I know when they want even if they said we don't want to make a deal.
00:51:17I can tell you they want to make a deal. All right. They do.
00:51:21They want to make a deal. And we're going to see if we can do something because this is crazy.
00:51:25What's happening and we're not going to have this anymore.
00:51:27Neither the United States nor Israel bear the people of Iran any hostility.
00:51:33We merely want to live in peace.
00:51:35We don't want any looming threats over our heads.
00:51:39And we don't want to even think in terms of nuclear destruction is not going to happen.
00:51:44Never will happen.
00:51:45There's nothing that would do more good for this part of the world than for Iran's leaders to renounce terror,
00:51:51stop threatening their neighbors, quit funding their militant proxies and finally recognize Israel's right to existence.
00:52:00They have to do that. They have to do that.
00:52:05And to Iran.
00:52:08And as you know, this is not said out of weakness.
00:52:10There's no weakness.
00:52:12But I'm going to say this, that we are ready when you are.
00:52:15And it will be the best decision that Iran has ever made.
00:52:20And it's going to happen. It's going to happen.
00:52:24The good people, a lot of the I know a lot of Iranians in the United States,
00:52:28are good people, smart, hardworking people.
00:52:31They don't want to see what's happened to their country.
00:52:33The story of fierce Israeli resolve and triumph since October 7th
00:52:39should be proof to the entire world that those who seek to destroy this nation are doomed to bitter failure.
00:52:47The state of Israel is strong and it will live and thrive forever.
00:52:52And that is why Israel will always remain a vital ally of the United States of America.
00:53:13Israelis share our values, field one of the world's most powerful militaries.
00:53:19You really do. You have an amazing, what a job, what a job you've done.
00:53:24And have one of the most innovative economies on earth.
00:53:30Those are just a few of the reasons why I'm proud to be the best friend that Israel has ever had.
00:53:35And they all say it in the White House. They all say it.
00:53:40I guess it's true because everybody says it. Maybe you said it today. Thank you.
00:53:45But as president, I terminated the disastrous Iran nuclear deal.
00:53:49And ultimately, I terminated Iran's nuclear program with things called B2 bombers.
00:53:55It was it was it was swift and it was accurate and it was a military beauty.
00:54:01I authorized the spending of billions of dollars, which went to Israel's defense, as you know.
00:54:07And after years of.
00:54:09And after years of broken promises from many other American presidents, you know that they kept promising.
00:54:19I never understood it until I got there.
00:54:21They there was a lot of pressure put on these presidents.
00:54:23It was put on me, too, but I didn't yield to the pressure.
00:54:27But every president for decades said we're going to do it.
00:54:31The difference is I kept my promise and officially recognized the capital of Israel and move the American embassy to Jerusalem.
00:54:40Is it that right, Miriam?
00:54:57Look at Miriam.
00:54:58She's back there.
00:54:59Stand up.
00:55:00Stand up.
00:55:02From the Britain benim.
00:55:04Presidentialalia.
00:55:09Myiam and Sheldon would come into the office.
00:55:12They'd call me, Hall and me.
00:55:16They'd call me.
00:55:17Iка I think, I think they had more trips to the White House than anybody else can they like.
00:55:21Look at her sitting there so innocently.
00:55:23She got 60 billion in the bank.
00:55:2660 billion.
00:55:27And she loves, and she I think she said no more.
00:55:31And she loves Israel, but she loves it, and they would come in, and her husband was a very aggressive man, but I loved him.
00:55:39He was a very aggressive, very supportive of me.
00:55:42And he'd call up, can I come over and see you?
00:55:46I'd say, Sheldon, I'm the president of the United States.
00:55:50It doesn't work that way.
00:55:51He'd come in.
00:55:52But they were very responsible for so much, including getting me thinking about Golan Heights, which is probably one of the greatest things to ever happen.
00:56:16Miriam, stand up, please.
00:56:18She really is.
00:56:19I mean, she loves this country.
00:56:22She loves this country.
00:56:32Her and her husband are so incredible.
00:56:33We miss him so dearly.
00:56:35But I actually asked her, I'm going to get her in trouble with this, but I actually asked her once.
00:56:38I said, so, Miriam, I know you love Israel.
00:56:41What do you love more, the United States or Israel?
00:56:45She refused to answer.
00:56:47That means, that might mean Israel, I must tell you.
00:56:50We love you.
00:56:53Thank you, darling, for being here.
00:56:55That's a great honor.
00:56:56Great honor.
00:56:57She's a wonderful woman.
00:56:59She is a great woman.
00:57:00I've always stood for the people of this community, and I always will.
00:57:04I'll always be with you.
00:57:05I'm always going to be with you.
00:57:06I guess maybe something could happen that changed my mind.
00:57:10Somebody that's really stupid gets into office and wants to do really bad things.
00:57:15But that's about it.
00:57:16We don't think we're going to have that happen.
00:57:18I hope we're not going to have that happen.
00:57:19And this man is a good man right here.
00:57:21These two men are good men right here.
00:57:29Hey, I have an idea.
00:57:31Mr. President, why don't you give him a pardon?
00:57:37Give him a pardon.
00:57:38Come on.
00:57:42Come on.
00:57:44Terima kasih.
00:58:14Terima kasih.
00:58:44Terima kasih.
00:59:14Terima kasih.
00:59:16Terima kasih.
00:59:17Terima kasih.
00:59:19Terima kasih.
00:59:21Terima kasih.
00:59:23Terima kasih.
00:59:24Terima kasih.
00:59:26Terima kasih.
00:59:58Terima kasih.
01:00:00Terima kasih.
01:00:32Terima kasih.
01:00:34Terima kasih.
01:00:36Terima kasih.
01:00:38Terima kasih.
01:00:40Terima kasih.
01:00:42Terima kasih.
01:00:44Terima kasih.
01:00:46Terima kasih.
01:00:48Terima kasih.
01:00:50Terima kasih.
01:00:52Terima kasih.
01:00:54Terima kasih.
01:00:56Terima kasih.
01:00:57Terima kasih.
01:00:59Terima kasih.
01:01:01Terima kasih.
01:01:03Terima kasih.
01:01:05Terima kasih.
01:01:07Terima kasih.
01:01:09Terima kasih.
01:01:11Terima kasih.
01:01:13Terima kasih.
01:01:15Terima kasih.
01:01:16Terima kasih.
01:01:17Terima kasih.
01:01:18Terima kasih.
01:01:19Terima kasih.
01:01:20Terima kasih.
01:01:21Terima kasih.
01:01:22Terima kasih.
01:01:23Terima kasih.
01:01:24Terima kasih.
01:01:25Terima kasih.
01:01:26example is just one of the modern
01:01:28miracles that Israel has
01:01:30given to the world and
01:01:32just in closing the leaders
01:01:34in this chamber know better than anyone
01:01:36else the challenges of
01:01:38disharmony and it's been
01:01:40easily won
01:01:42no it hasn't it has
01:01:44not been it's been so tough
01:01:47but it has been
01:01:49some say a miracle
01:01:51what you've done is a miracle
01:01:52look at your size
01:01:55look at your chances
01:01:57when it all started
01:01:58and you know if you think about it
01:02:00you are safer today
01:02:03stronger today and more
01:02:05respected today than at any
01:02:07time
01:02:08in the history of Israel
01:02:11think of it
01:02:12people used
01:02:17to say it wouldn't exist they don't say
01:02:19that anymore do they
01:02:20yet if safety security and coexistence
01:02:23can thrive here in the
01:02:25winding alleys and ancient paths
01:02:27of Jerusalem then surely peace
01:02:29and respect can flourish among
01:02:31the nations of the broader
01:02:32Middle East
01:02:33the God who once dwelled among
01:02:35his people in this city still
01:02:37calls us in the words of
01:02:39scripture the turn from
01:02:41evil and do good
01:02:43to seek peace and pursue
01:02:45it so he still
01:02:47whispers truth into the hills and
01:02:49nose and valleys of his
01:02:50magnificent creation
01:02:52and he still writes hope into
01:02:54the hearts of his children all
01:02:55over the world
01:02:56and that is why even after
01:02:58three thousand years of pain
01:03:00and conflict
01:03:00the people of Israel have never
01:03:03given up from the
01:03:04threats of Zionism
01:03:06from all sorts of
01:03:08threats
01:03:09you want
01:03:10you want the promise
01:03:12of Zion
01:03:13you want the promise of
01:03:15success and hope
01:03:16and love
01:03:17and God
01:03:18and the people of America have
01:03:20never lost faith in the
01:03:21promise of a great
01:03:23blessed future for all of us
01:03:25from the very first day that
01:03:27modern Israel was founded we
01:03:29have stood together through
01:03:30thick and thin
01:03:32thin of setbacks and through
01:03:35victory and defeat
01:03:36through glory and heartache
01:03:39we have built industries
01:03:40together we have made
01:03:42discoveries together
01:03:43we have confronted evil
01:03:45together and we have waged war
01:03:46together and perhaps most
01:03:48beautifully of all
01:03:49we have made peace together
01:03:51and this week against all odds
01:03:54we have done the impossible
01:03:55and brought our hostages home
01:03:58so now we're going to
01:04:17forge a future that is worthy of our
01:04:20heritage we're going to build a
01:04:21legacy that all the people of this
01:04:23region can be proud of
01:04:25new bonds of friendship
01:04:27cooperation and commerce will join
01:04:29Tel Aviv to Dubai
