00:06Her fascination with acting began at the age of 10 after performing in a school play.
00:11At the time, I felt acting was an interesting way of being weird and one that was applauded,

00:16However, encouragement from friends and family was limited.
00:19Her father didn't support her and after a long time, she doubted herself.
00:23For a time, she doubted herself so much that she gave up on her dreams,
00:26thinking it was silly to even try.
00:28Determined to pursue acting, 17-year-old Anit began searching for auditions online.
00:33That's when she encountered scams, fraudulent websites pretending to offer work.
00:37Untethered, she sent nearly 50 to 70 cold emails to production companies,
00:42hoping to find credible opportunities.
00:43She now laughs, remembering how almost every production house had her terrible bio data,
00:48audition tapes and even Snapchat filtered photos.
00:51Her persistence eventually paid off.
00:53Anit made her debut in Revati Salaam Venki alongside Kajol and Vishal Jetwa,
00:57followed by her acclaimed performance in the prime video series, Big Girls Don't Cry.
