00:00to some fantastic racing.
00:01Yeah, you can't beat this weather up here in Queensland, that's for sure.
00:05You see that SX2 final number two start list.
00:08This one is going to be a good one.
00:10Can anybody compete with Lux Turner?
00:13Well, it's been hard so far.
00:15Wilson Todd would love to do it, as too would Shane McElrath.
00:18He wants to get himself a nice, clean start.
00:21No traumas, get through that first turn.
00:23Very similar to what we saw in final two last night.
00:26Jase Cosford with a very good performance.
00:28Also, keep an eye on him.
00:31Tiger Woods needs to stay out of trouble.
00:33Like you said, Turner, though, is the rider that is out in front.
00:38Ryder Kingsford, he was quick in that first final.
00:42A good start out of him.
00:43He'll be able to challenge it as well.
00:45Lawood, Barham, Butt, and Cannon are the top ten to keep an eye on.
00:50Yeah, I'm really curious if Ryder Kingsford can get that start
00:52with his teammate Lux Turner.
00:55Can he get the win tonight?
00:56There you see him, the number nine, that red plate.
00:58That's your championship points leader.
01:00To his right, to our left, the number one, Shane McElrath.
01:03He needs to execute these starts.
01:05He said to me this morning that, look, I've got to execute these starts.
01:08I know I have the speed.
01:09I know I can win.
01:10But it's the first 20 feet out in front of that gate that I got to execute a little better.
01:14If you put yourself way back in the field, you are so open to these dramas.
01:19Like we have seen multiple times here tonight in turn number one and exiting turn number one,
01:25you find yourself deep buried in the field, nowhere to go.
01:30And that's when these incidents, these issues start to get themselves thrown at you.
01:35No fault of your own sometimes.
01:36But you've allowed yourself to get into a position where you can be at the wrong end of all of that by not getting that start.
01:45Ferguson to the inside would like to get himself a good one the final time.
01:49The SX2 will be on the track here in Redcliffe.
01:52Gates are down.
01:53Can we see a big start from the number one?
01:56Swinging from the outside of Yamaha Ryder.
01:58Is that Kingsford?
01:59Can he hold on next to Lux Turner?
02:04As the 44 goes down in turn one, Turner smashes his way into Larwood as they come out of turn number two.
02:13Turner has made some moves on this first lap.
02:15It looks like Kingsford had track position on him.
02:18But in that second turn, he must have worked some magic all the way up to the second place.
02:22It looked like he was going to be fourth or fifth.
02:24But, man, he's done some work early.
02:27McIlrath all the way back in eighth place behind his teammate.
02:31There they are in the background.
02:32Oh, his teammate jumping across unintentionally, just losing traction.
02:37They are currently in seventh and eighth as we see Larwood go to the inside.
02:42Even then, that was a fast line.
02:44It worked so good.
02:46The word has got back to the pits.
02:48And they have let their riders know about that sneaky line.
02:52And Larwood has been awarded the my paint a hole shot.
02:55Yeah, Larwood right now.
02:57But he's taken some very protective lines.
03:00You can see right there he didn't take the fast line on the round that right-hand turn.
03:03He knows that Lux Turner is close.
03:05But now is the time to ride your own lines.
03:07He aced that jump right there.
03:08So a couple mistakes right there.
03:10You can tell that he's feeling the pressure from the nine.
03:12You've got to stay in these rhythm sections.
03:15Get over the triples.
03:16If you don't, then you are open to attack.
03:19And right there, Ryder Kingsford has found his way through into third place.
03:24He is in a much better position this time to battle it out for a win.
03:28Larwood dives to the inside once again.
03:30Looses the back wheel and still manages to hold the lead.
03:34Turner looking for that opening as Barham is back now into fourth.
03:37Well, you can tell that Lux Turner is getting a little bit impatient because I believe that
03:40he senses his teammate right there behind him.
03:43And that would be for the overall victory here today.
03:46So you can tell he's really scrubbing these jumps.
03:49He's staying lower than Larwood.
03:50But where is he going to pass him?
03:52I'm not sure.
03:53It's tough at the moment.
03:54Up front, these riders not giving an inch as they go into the rhythm sections.
03:59Again, clean through there.
04:01Was Larwood bouncing into the turn, staying nice and low.
04:05It is all about the whoops here as Kingsford very quick.
04:09Look at that run right there.
04:11Gets himself to the outside.
04:12Should swing around here and get a good run towards the final turn.
04:16Does he dive to the inside?
04:17No.
04:17Follows Turner outside.
04:19Up and over the finish line once again.
04:21And Larwood seems to be a little more settled up front.
04:24You can see he's getting more and more comfortable as these laps go on.
04:27And if Kingsford could get a little bit closer to Turner, Turner is going to start riding protective
04:32lines, which will only help Larwood get away out front.
04:35Kingsford loses a little bit through that first straight, but makes it all up at the tail
04:40end of the lap.
04:41Larwood is weathering the storm at the moment.
04:44There is so much pressure being applied to him.
04:46And in fact, now starting to stretch out the lead just a little bit as they go towards
04:52the whoops again.
04:53We are halfway's distance already.
04:55It feels like it's only just started.
04:57Yeah.
04:57Kingsford's had some great whoops speed right there.
04:59He makes up maybe a bike length on Lux Turner right there.
05:02Things are starting to settle down a little bit in this eight lap final.
05:06Kingsford's gone.
05:08Kingsford's gone.
05:10I don't see Kingsford.
05:12He must have went down potentially in the whoops or the corner after the whoops.
05:17There is Cosford.
05:18I still can't see him as we ride through this section.
05:21We'll keep an eye on the background.
05:22Ferguson bumps his way to the inside of Jace Cosford.
05:27Behind them, Seth Birchel is in the hunt here as well.
05:31But the 22 there, he is part of the mix for this great battle that is going on in these
05:37positions.
05:38Tiger Woods is there too.
05:40Oh, that's Barham.
05:41Barham was in there in fourth place or third place and now gone down.
05:47And out of nowhere, is our scoring telling us right?
05:50Did we not see it?
05:51Shane McElrath there in fourth place.
05:54And Ryder Kingsford all the way down into 12th.
05:57That is such a bummer and a huge mistake.
06:00From Kingsford.
06:03Looked to potentially be getting on the podium and then might even get the overall if he
06:07was able to get around Lux Turner.
06:08Let's see what happened to Barham here.
06:10Just lose the front.
06:12Wow, lost the front.
06:13But then it looked like he was on the break fairly hard because the back end lifted up
06:16as well.
06:17Found a little bit of grip.
06:18Oh, look at this battle that we've got going on here.
06:21Ferguson leads the way.
06:22Birchel, Brees, Barnes smashes his way to the inside.
06:26There is the number two of Wilson Todd in amongst the mix.
06:29And there is Ryder Kingsford.
06:31So it is absolute chaos here at the moment.
06:35Kingsford staying nice and low.
06:36Very loose though on the landing.
06:38And to the inside is that the number two of Wilson Todd.
06:42And this is interesting because Wilson Todd and Kingsford, they have the potential to be battling
06:48for wins and probably should be battling for at least podiums.
06:52They're back there barely inside the top ten.
06:54This is unbelievable.
06:56That there shows the depth of this field.
06:58We say it so many times.
07:00That's probably going to get annoying.
07:01Oh, he did.
07:03He went down.
07:04Birchel collected handlebars with Barham.
07:08I think it was.
07:09Oh, and is that Kingsford?
07:10Kingsford down hard.
07:13He's up right away.
07:16Shaking the head.
07:17Trying to figure out what just happened there.
07:21But that has taken him out of the equation completely.
07:26All the while, the number five machine out in the lead towards the finish line.
07:32He has got one lap to go.
07:36What a ride this has been.
07:38What an uneventful ride for our ace leader.
07:40Check out the replay here.
07:41Keep an eye on the 18 machine.
07:45Oh.
07:46Completely taken the front wheel away.
07:49Him, he was four wide right there in one turn.
07:52Wow.
07:53This race has been.
07:54This is so good to watch.
07:56Oz-X Supercross at its best.
07:59The SX2.
08:00We knew it was going to be wild.
08:03And the difference in riders at the moment up front.
08:06As we see Larwood completely stretching away.
08:10I'm looking for Turner in the background.
08:12I cannot see him.
08:13There he is.
08:13So he has just given it up.
08:15But Larwood will come around the final turn.
08:18Pick up the win in final number two here in Raff.
08:25Turner across there in second place.
08:28Jake Cannon comes across in third place.
08:31McElrath.
08:32Is that Wilson Todd all the way to McElrath back wheel?
08:36Wilson Todd was a lot down.
08:37He's in 16th right now.
08:39I'm pretty sure him and Kingsford got collected in that turn after the whoops.
08:43I did see it over the monitors out the window.
08:45My apologies there for calling it in there.
08:48But that showed his speed that he had.
08:51Unfortunate for Todd.
08:52My apologies for calling it a place I didn't realize.
08:56I was caught up in the moment of such an exciting race.
08:58The Dewalt SX2 final number two.
09:01Larwood, your winner in front of Lux Turner.
09:03Jake Cannon.
09:04Shane McElrath.
09:06Jace Cosford.
09:07Caleb Barham.
09:07Noah Ferguson.
09:09Reece Bartz.
09:10Tiger Woods.
09:11And Travis Olander.
09:13Your 10 epic final right there as we go to our race winner with Trent Marr.
