00:00Obviously some of the frustrations from other away games repeated, is that becoming a mental thing for the players?
00:07It can, but it's their job to make sure it's not.
00:10As I said to them in there, the fight and the effort, if you keep that and we keep team spirit and we keep building towards something,
00:19the results will change, I've got no doubt on it.
00:22Is it very much on them, obviously, the manager's gone, you're in charge, is it very much on them to sort of pull together now and turn things around?
00:28No, collective effort, it's not on the players, it's on the staff, make sure we're coming in every day, make sure they're ready,
00:35make sure they're working the way they need to be, so it's a collective effort, not just the players.
00:42Obviously you went for the sort of 4-4-2 that the manager used, you started with that, so what was the thinking behind sticking that system?
00:47No, we didn't, we played, Fletch was our number 10, we played with our winners a little bit higher,
00:53because obviously playing 4-4-2, your winners are right-man field and left-man field.
00:58It just felt that way because they were pushing us deep and our full-backs were going a bit deeper,
01:04but after the 30 minutes and we pushed our winners a little bit higher, we started to roll in and,
01:09as I said, they're little moments where we had the counter-attack of the transition,
01:13we just didn't execute the pass right, and they're the little moments you need to turn into getting efforts to go.
01:21Another gaffer for a long time thought it was going to click.
01:24Can you see that? Obviously that quality was maybe lacking in the final third, but do you think it is a team that is going to get there in the end?
01:29Yeah, why not? As I said, once the boys start to come off the training table, that will add quality to the group as well.
01:37I think Banks should be backfitting it for next Saturday, so that's a plus point as well.
01:41So yeah, a lot of encouragement, especially second half, against a team that's going to be up there fighting playoffs and trying to win promotion.
01:48Yeah, Scott Banks comes at a quite crucial time after what we've seen today with a couple of going off.
01:53Yeah, everyone has, every player. The faster we can get them off the treatment table, the better the medical staff are working day and night to try and get them.
02:02Obviously, some of them are long-term, but yeah, we'll take it. We can only use who we've got available and we'll keep going and keep trying to win games for us.
02:10I know you're preparing for Forest. Have you been told beyond that, like obviously next Saturday, do you know what the plan is?
02:16No, no, I had a good chat with Simon through the week and we planned and prepared as best as we could for this game.
02:23And now, as I said, as soon as I get on the bus and as soon as I get home, I'm starting to think about Forest and Wickham at the weekend and then whatever happens, happens.
02:31Obviously, you've got coaches, including yourself, who've worked with a lot of the younger players at the club.
02:35So is that going to be an opportunity for them, especially with all the injuries on Tuesday night?
02:38Yeah, I'm pretty sure some of them will be included in the squad.
02:41As I said, we need to wait till tomorrow when the dust settles and see who started today and what they're going to be like.
02:49And then when Monday comes, we start to get them on the grass again, get their legs moving.
