Run defense concern?

00:22The Bills have been a bad tackling team so far this season.

00:29In fact, you look at some of the highest, the best players in the league

00:34at force-missed tackle rate, and who's number one?

00:39A guy that's played the Bills.

00:41Kendra Miller.

00:42Did he break six tackles on the one touchdown run that he had?

00:46He did probably a lot of his damage right then and there.

00:49So he is number one in football in tackles avoided per carry.

00:55Almost 40% rate.

00:56Number two in the league, to nobody's surprise, is Bijan Robinson,

01:03who the Bills will see on Monday.

01:06And if it's going to be another one of these,

01:10hey, this team's going to try to run on you games,

01:14how the Bills fare in that, they did just look pretty good doing it against New England.

01:20Like, New England, how they beat the Bills was not what they really set out to do at the outset.

01:26If you watched how the Patriots played the Bills in the first half of that game,

01:31they were lining up with a lot of high formation, a lot of fullback, a lot of two tight end sets,

01:36and they were trying to run the ball right at the Bills.

01:40And they really weren't having a ton of success doing that.

01:45It was only when they started to open things up with May and threw the ball to Diggs.

01:51I mean, Diggs got the first pass of the game, and then he didn't catch another pass until,

01:55I think it was the fourth drive of that game between the Bills and the Patriots.

01:59So, what was their original plan?

02:02I mean, they came out thinking they were going to run it all over the Bills.

02:06And how did that end?
