00:00One, two, three. Welcome to Peshawar!
00:30We're here in Peshawar, Pakistan. It's unbelievable. The streets are so lively. Everyone has these
00:39really cool hats on. The kids are really cute, right? Look at this kid. This, my friends, is the
00:46oldest city in South Asia, and it's a special, special place. I cannot believe what I'm experiencing.
00:53Perhaps you've heard about Peshawar for the wrong reasons. This city went through a period of
00:57hardships and terrorism, and therefore, it's been somewhat off-limits for outsiders, even
01:02for Pakistanis themselves. There was a patch in which there was fundamentalism, there was
01:08extremism, but now no more. People, the youth, especially the youth of Peshawar, they are peace-loving
01:16people. As Minister Atif said, Peshawar is a safe place and back thriving like it's olden
01:22days. Nice to meet you. Are you fine? Nice to meet you too. Great to meet you. Are you fine?
01:25My friend doesn't want to take a photo. Yeah, yeah, let's take a photo. Let's take a photo.
01:28What's up? How are you?
01:29Located in northwest Pakistan, almost alongside the Afghanistan border, Peshawar's history
01:34dates back to 539 BCE. It was the strategic pathway for many great civilizations who came
01:40through, like the Mughals, the Persians, the Mongols, the Aryans, and the Greeks. When walking
01:45around Peshawar's old city, you can instantly feel the history as little has changed for centuries.
01:51The sandy colored buildings, the traditional clothes, the donkeys transporting goods, the
01:55amazing street food. We're here at a local restaurant in Peshawar. We've got a lot of
01:59local food here to eat. It's going to be amazing. But the most eye-opening thing here is the
02:03people and the culture. So the people here, they're very curious and they love to see foreigners
02:08visiting their city. And it's just amazing. They always give you the warmest welcoming. Thank
02:12you. Amen. It's unique in every aspect compared to the rest of Pakistan. It almost feels like you've
02:17entered a different world. Okay, so this is his garage. They're right here on the main road.
02:23And then you have these really old doors. And his car is parked there. Just another day in life.
02:31That's so cool, man. Every corner that you turn on these streets is exciting. And the best part is
02:36that there's always a face smiling back at you. I've seen a lot of places in the world and nothing
02:42has surprised me as much as Peshawar. This place is absolutely incredible. I can't even put it into words.
02:47What I'm experiencing, the hospitality, the people. It goes beyond any video you can ever explain.
02:52Beyond any words you can ever explain. The only thing I can say to you is to come here and see
02:56what it's like for yourself. And I really hope you can because it's just about as good as it gets.
03:00It's like a toothbrush? Yeah, it's like a toothbrush. Oh, Drew! Drew Binsky! Drew Binsky!
03:14Dude, we gotta take a selfie with that guy. Is that natural? Natural? Yeah, yeah. So I'm on the
03:20streets of Peshawar, Pakistan and I met another guy who has red hair. What's your name?
03:23Zafar Ahmad. Nice to meet you. We're brothers. Yeah, of course. Great to meet you, man.
