Most of the nation should be clear for travel on Oct. 9. In Florida, afternoon thunderstorms could disrupt flights including in the cities of Miami and Orlando where they could expect moderate delays.

00:00If you're doing any traveling, today is going to be a good travel day across most of the country.

00:06Really, the only exception is going to be the Florida Peninsula because that boundary is stalled

00:11and south of that boundary, there's already some showers around. In fact, I'm projecting delays

00:17all day in Miami. There was a thunderstorm a little while ago. I could see a shower thunderstorm

00:21anytime. Minor delays here this morning, then some moderate delays this afternoon. Also watch

00:26Orlando and Tampa this afternoon. Northeast, it is sunny. We've seen beautiful sunrises.

00:33The sun will be shining all day. A little cool, but no weather-related travel delays.
