The Taiwan Asia Exchange Foundation and foreign ministry held an event on supply chain security where analysts called for more collaboration between Taiwan and other democratic countries to reduce their dependency on authoritarian governments.

00:37They said that Taiwan would be critical for helping Western countries reduce their reliance on China.
00:43Beyond semiconductors, they highlighted Taiwan's growing drone and robotics industries
00:48as areas where the country could make the largest impact.
00:51The experts also spoke about the shared threats that democracies face from authoritarian countries
00:57like the sabotage of submarine cables and grey zone tactics.
