00:00The Israeli army has intercepted a new flotilla heading towards Gaza after the interception of a separate convoy sparked protests across Europe.
00:12At least 145 activists were taken ashore for processing and are expected to be deported soon.
00:20Among them are doctors, politicians and three Turkish lawmakers.
00:24Israel called the attempt another futile breach of its naval blockade.
00:31The Freedom Flotilla Coalition, made up of nine vessels, asserted the mission poses no harm and denied Israeli authority in international waters.
00:41Three vessels in the flotilla were intercepted around 120 nautical miles off Gaza's coast, with no injuries reported.
00:49Their interception follows the detention of activists aboard the global Sumad flotilla, which sparked large protests and a general strike in Italy.
01:01Israel has offered all detained activists voluntary deportation.
01:06Some have alleged mistreatment, a claim Israel calls a brazen lie.
