NSW Police intercepted an alleged gangland ‘kill team’ they saw were on the way to a hit. Tactical officers swarmed the two cars on The River Road, Revesby, arresting three men during the operation at 3.50pm on Tuesday October 7, 2025.

00:00About 3.50pm yesterday, the State Crime Command Organised Crime Squad led a high-risk operation to stop two vehicles in Reesby.
00:07For several weeks now, Strike Force Flo Dean has been investigating a transnational serious and organised crime network
00:13believed to be involved in multiple conspiracies to murder.
00:17From within the first vehicle, a Mitsubishi Outlander, we arrested two men aged 18 and 19.
00:24We recovered balaclavas and pistols in that vehicle.
00:26From within the second vehicle, the Mercedes-Benz, we arrested a 26-year-old man and found two jerrycans full of petrol inside the vehicle.
00:39Later, we searched a third unoccupied vehicle and recovered a third firearm.
00:44Detectives also recovered body-worn cameras, electronic devices and other evidentiary material from both the suspects and the vehicles.
00:53Overnight, State Crime Command Detectives executed multiple search warrants in south-western Sydney
01:00and recovered further evidence and electronic devices.
01:05We will allege in court that the men were en route to attempt to kill a man in the vicinity of a daycare centre in south-western Sydney.
01:12The fact that this group were prepared to kill an individual in a location where so much collateral damage could have been caused
01:19is of significant concern to the NSW Police Force.
