00:00You play lots of different sports, don't you, Jackie?
00:10Yeah. Rugby, cricket, football.
00:12Which is your favourite sport?
00:14I mean, in the winter it would probably be rugby.
00:17Summer it's probably swimming.
00:19So what do you love about triathlon?
00:22That you get to do three sports and not just one.
00:25And I get to be with all my friends.
00:28Mummy and Daddy come and watch you play, don't they?
00:31Yeah, and you're always gone.
00:32You've never missed a match, you've never missed a race or a game.
00:36You're always there.
00:37Before races you help me pack my kit so I'm supportive in my race
00:42and you come watch me in my races and cheer me on.
00:46Does it make you feel better when you've got people there?
00:49Definitely.
00:50Yeah.
00:51When I come round the corner and I see you and Mum standing there
00:55cheering me on it makes me feel happy
00:57and excited and really confident.
01:00Good girl.
01:01What sort of things could we do either before you play or you swim
01:08or after that could really help you feel happy?
01:12Before you always give me like a prep talk to get me ready for them to work.
01:18Some of the things you say are just really like motivating like you'll always say stuff like
01:22as long as you give 100% it's alright.
01:24And at the end you give me like a hug like even if I say I'm sweaty.
01:29And is there anything I do that sometimes you think doesn't help?
01:33Shout advice while I'm in the race.
01:37Do I ever embarrass you?
01:39Yes.
01:40What do I do to embarrass you?
01:43You literally shout at the top of your lungs.
01:46Have you ever seen anything that happens on a pitch that you've needed to go to the coach to speak about?
01:51Well a lot I've seen in like my football when the adults were shouting at the ref
01:55and the opposition team because apparently he'd been making the wrong decision.
02:00Made me feel a bit disgusted because like the ref shouldn't be spoken to like that.
02:05You train a lot.
02:06What would you do if you felt tired or you didn't feel up to go into a training session?
02:13I would say like I'm really tired or if I've hurt myself I'll tell you.
02:19What's the most important thing to do if you don't feel that something's right?
02:23If you feel a bit unsafe?
02:24I'd probably go and tell my coach.
02:26Yeah.
02:27Thank you for talking to me.
02:28You know you can talk to me anytime.
02:30Thank you Francis for speaking to me.
02:33This helped me learn what I can do better to make you feel even safer.
02:37Thank you very, very much for being honest because that's how we know how to support you the best is when you're honest.
02:44Awesome.
02:54Have a great day.
02:55You would be
03:11hospital practically.
03:12Awesome.
03:13Evil.
