How did you enjoy that today?
00:02
Yeah, it was brilliant. Obviously it was a great occasion.
00:04
A sell-out here at home.
00:06
Dindy-Nighted to bring a good crowd as well.
00:09
Obviously we didn't start the game the way we wanted to, but it was a good end.
00:13
Another goal for yourself, that's five already.
00:15
Are you setting a target for the season or are you just seeing how it goes?
00:18
I've always got a target in my head, but I'll just see how it goes
00:21
and hopefully they keep coming because I'm enjoying it now and yeah, I'm loving it.
00:25
The manager says you've taken a leap out of the length of Scott Arfield's book.
00:28
Has he been giving you advice about the positions that you need to get yourself into on the pitch?
00:31
Yeah, I've probably just watched what Scotty does and try and take wee things from it.
00:36
And yeah, I stay out and do extra finishing with Scotty and other boys.
00:41
Now probably more than I've ever did, so it's paying off and yeah, hopefully I can keep scoring.
00:46
How did you enjoy today? It was obviously a really big day for the club.
00:49
Yeah, it was really good, obviously.
00:51
A big occasion for the club, not being in premiership in 15 years
00:54
and I think we showed everybody what we're about.
00:57
I think first half we were okay, but half time the management and the staff were telling us to go take the shackles off
01:03
and go show off the team we are and I think in the second half we probably deserve to win the game, to be honest.
01:09
I think the United scored against the run of play and we bounced back straight away
01:12
and I think we were on the team going on to win it at the end.
01:15
Did it feel like you kind of had to manage that sort of situation as well, obviously coming back into the run?
01:19
There was such a big build up, wasn't there?
01:21
Yeah, there has been a big build up and I think our dressing room, we do really believe in ourselves.
01:25
There are some boys in there that are a bit gutted we've not won the game, but I think you need to be realistic as well.
01:33
They finished fourth last season, so they're a good team and I think you just need to take the positives out of the game.
01:37
To take a point from them, does that really reinforce that belief that you do kind of belong at this level?
01:42
Yeah, I think so. Obviously it's only one game, but I think, as I said a minute ago, they finished fourth last season.
01:47
So, yeah, it's a good point and we'll look on to Livingston next week.
01:51
A lot of people have said that Falkirk are going to cause a lot of problems for teams this season.
01:54
Is that a pressure that you thrive on?
01:56
Yeah, I think it is. I think this season we'll probably not come up against teams that are going to sit in in low blocks against us.
02:02
We've got good pace in our team, so I think if there's space and we use our pace well, I think we'll cause every team in the league problems.
02:10
Let's go back to your goal, Dallon. What was going through your mind at that time when it comes back to you?
02:13
You must have so much confidence at the moment after the Premier Sports Cup got the stages in.
02:16
You're just about nearing your career goals in this season already.
02:19
Yeah, obviously. I've seen Keelan crossing it. I've seen Brad and I was bussing you leading me off and I just had to go and finish it.
02:27
And yeah, it was obviously left foot, so I'll take that. It's a good one.
