Local Body Elections. Vanga Gopal Reddy, a resident of Kothapalli, Gambhiraopet Mandal, Rajanna Sircilla District, recently filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging the Telangana government's GO No. 9, which increased the reservation for BCs by 42 percent in local body elections. To this extent, a bench of Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Sandeep Mehta took up the matter today.
