Motorists who were charged unsubsidised prices for RON95 petrol due to technical glitches at petrol stations can file a claim to recover the price difference, said Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Datuk Dr Fuziah Salleh.
Speaking to reporters on Sunday (Oct 5), Fuziah said that business registrations under the Subsidised Petrol Control System (SKPS) have been lukewarm since the rollout of the Budi95 initiative.
She urged those who have yet to register to do so promptly, adding that late registrants can still claim subsidies backdated from Oct 1 — provided they submit receipts of their fuel purchases.
