00:08vehicle was allegedly caught pumping subsidised Ron 95 petrol.
00:14The Selangor Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry said it received a complaint
00:20regarding the incident via its eAduan portal on Sunday.
00:24Following an investigation and a review of CCTV footage, authorities found that the
00:30driver had paid using a credit card and filled up with Ron 95 petrol.
00:36KPDN said a case has been opened against the petrol station and relevant documents have
00:41been seized for further investigation and action.
00:44The station is suspected of committing an offence under Regulation 3, sub-Regulation 2 of the
00:51Control of Supplies Act, Prohibition on the Sale and Purchase of Controlled Goods, Ron 95 petrol,
00:58Regulations 2026, for breaching sub-Regulation 3, sub-Regulation 1 of the same regulations.
01:06The provision prohibits the sale of Ron 95 petrol to any individual for use in a foreign-registered
01:13motor vehicle without written permission from the controller.
