STR recipients enjoy Budi95 subsidy on second day of roll-out

The Budi Madani RON95 (Budi95) targeted fuel subsidy rollout has been well received by Malaysians, who described the process as smooth and convenient.  In George Town, Penang, recipients of Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) began enjoying the subsidy on Sunday (Sept 28), with many saying it eases financial pressures amid rising living costs. 00:23the second day of its rollout. Chicken rice seller Suhairi Saad said the subsidy allows

00:28him to fill his tank with just 30 ringgit, easing his financial burden and helping him keep food

00:34prices affordable for customers. He added that the process was hassle-free and the staff were very

00:40helpful in guiding first-time users. Technician Mohammad Shafiq Hakimi Hamza shared a similar

00:46experience, saying the subsidy would significantly reduce his monthly expenses. 72-year-old senior

00:53citizen Fatima Mohamed Abdullah admitted she initially expected the process to be complicated,

00:59but those fears were quickly dispelled as the transaction was much simpler.

01:04Another senior citizen, 71-year-old Tan Boon Hock, who was unsure of his eligibility,

01:10said the station staff explained the procedure clearly, helping him understand how the initiative

01:15works. Petrol station operator Hilmi Hassan Farouk said the second day of the rollout went smoothly,

01:22as his staff had undergone several rounds of training ahead of time.

01:26Today is the launch of those with STR, Tunai Rahma, and they can utilize their subsidy at $199,

01:33starting from today as well. And all the rakyat will start on the 30th of September.

01:40They can utilize their MyCard. If they qualify, are eligible for the subsidy,

01:46they can immediately use their quota that's available in their MyCard.

01:52So most of them raise their subsidy that's available to me now is also the

02:16MAO program that freely proceed with more financial than any other activities within the
