03:45Nhưng as you would imagine, after what I just said, none of them have scored.
03:49That is the only bleeding point in getting on the puck.
03:52Aberdeen's squad has scored more league goals for Hearts this season than they have Aberdeen.
03:57What are we putting this down to?
03:59I think it must be some sort of satanic pact that was made last season.
04:03When they went to win the Scottish Cup, you will have the time of your life.
04:07But then after that, it will be completely joyless.
04:09It is mad because the attacking talent in that squad is brilliant.
04:13And yet, they're not scoring any goals.
04:15And they're not even like a defensive team.
04:17It's not like a manager who's just sitting to draw every game nil-nil, and if you get a goal, all brilliant.
04:22They actually go out to try and attack teams.
04:23They just can't get the ball over the line.
04:25But that's the thing.
04:26If the attacking unit isn't working, then neither is the defensive unit at the moment.
04:29Because you saw Dimitar Mitov, who was the hero of that Scottish Cup win over Celtic,
04:33saving penalties from Callum McGregor and Alistair Johnson.
04:36He makes an inexplicable error in that defeat to Motherwell on Saturday.
04:40That was like the most unbelievable and yet believable thing.
04:44That when Aberdeen missed all these opportunities to score, he's like, well, at the very least,
04:48they'll leave with a point.
04:49And then Johnny Katrumbus cutting inside, shooting with his weaker foot and Mitov with the worst mistake he's made
04:55in Scottish football so far.
04:57It was just, again, like I say, unbelievable but believable.
05:00Aberdeen are a really proud club.
05:02They're very, and rightly so, very proud of their heritage.
05:05And they should be delighted with that Scottish Cup win back in May over Celtic.
05:08But the more this goes on, it actually looks like Celtic lost the cup rather than Aberdeen won it.
05:13Yeah, I mean, it's hard to not look at it now and think that that Aberdeen team is the worst team
05:18that's ever won a major trophy in Scottish football history.
05:20But listen, if Aberdeen are the big losers so far in the season, Craig Fowler, who are the big winners?
05:28It's got to be Tony Bloom's Heart of Midlothian.
05:30We're only five minutes in and already we've become Hearts Fan TV.
05:33Well, to be fair, to be fair, yes, we say the word Hearts quite a lot on this show.
05:37But come on, we'll have to talk about the team that's top of the Scottish Premier League.
05:40Statistically, the best team in Scottish football at this point in time, if we're forgetting about the League Cup.
05:44I mean, it's been an absolutely remarkable season.
05:47Not only are Hearts playing this really super high-tempo, aggressive brand of football,
05:52they're getting big wins, you know, they won at Ibrox for the first time in years.
05:56They've also managed to do it by signing these, like, unheralded, no-name players
05:59that have been sourced from various outposts around the continent.
06:02This is the point. This is Jamestown Analytics. This is what it is.
06:05You unearth the gems.
06:06So we're signing guys for the fourth tier of Italian football,
06:09the second tier of Norwegian football, for the Slovakian top flight.
06:12There's somebody coming in from Kazakhstan in January.
06:15It all sounds so simple.
06:16Yes, aye.
06:17How does Jamestown work? Do you just go on it and go like that?
06:21Cheap, good, zen, massive list.
06:25Just sign them all, aye.
06:27Mr McInnes, are you sure? Sign them all.
06:30It seems so simple that why aren't other teams doing this?
06:33Whatever that magic algorithm is that Tony Bloom keeps so secret,
06:36we might never know.
06:37One day we might find out actually exactly what it is.
06:39Maybe it is, Tony says, maybe it's just cheap and good
06:42and everybody else is just over-complicating things.
06:44I don't know how secret he makes it.
06:45He came and handed hearts 10 million pounds so they could use it.
06:49Oh, what a secret. Please, use it.
06:51I know you're quite a pragmatic guy,
06:53quite a depressing guy at times,
06:55quite difficult to be around,
06:57but surely, Fowler,
06:58you must be getting a wee bit carried away at the moment.
07:00Celtic aren't very good, Rangers, even worse.
07:03That leaves it wide open for Hart and Midlovian
07:05to win the Premiership title 25-26.
07:08Do you think that?
07:09No, I don't, for obvious reasons.
07:11Warren!
07:12I think it's come maybe a little bit too early,
07:14but do you know what,
07:15when Tony Bloom spoke to the Hart's fans and he says,
07:17I'll be surprised if we don't win a league in 10 years.
07:20Surprised!
07:20Initially, I was like,
07:22oh, don't do this, don't do this,
07:23but now I'm kind of like,
07:24well, I can actually see how this model could work.
07:26You bring these guys that are cheap,
07:28and then guys like Braga, guys like Kizaridis,
07:30have them maintain their form next summer,
07:32sell them on for a few million,
07:33reinvest it,
07:34and now I'm thinking,
07:34hmm, a title in the next 10 years could be possible.
07:37Well, you'd be saying that's the model that he's just come up with.
07:41Signed players cheap, sell them for more.
07:43I thought, oh, God, Tony Bloom!
07:46I think it's more aggressive,
07:47but I think it strips out the emotion of it,
07:48and that you don't just hold on to guys
07:50because they're fan favourites.
07:51Fans are going to get their hearts broken every single season
07:53because these guys are just going to be moved on
07:55as soon as somebody comes in.
07:56It's obviously about the peak value.
07:57Yes, and as long as they keep doing it
07:59and keep winning season upon season,
08:01then it could happen.
08:02Now, listen, that's what's been going on
08:04in the Scottish Premiership.
08:05I would like to talk about the big winners
08:07from the Scottish Championship,
08:09and that is St Johnson Football Club.
08:11Top of the table, flying high,
08:13an enormous gap between themselves in second place.
08:15Everything is going in their favour.
08:17I just think that St Johnson are basically,
08:19I already feel like that's done.
08:20They've already won the league,
08:22and with Seymour Valakari there,
08:23it just seemed they were quite brave keeping them on.
08:25It's really easy to get rid of a manager of relegation,
08:28but with his style, the way he wants to play football,
08:30it really suits playing a team at the top end of a league.
08:33And then on top of that,
08:34you've got a guy like Josh McPake,
08:35who has been revitalised, re-energised,
08:38and is arguably the best player
08:39outside the top flight at the moment.
08:41And a club should always be looking to play
08:43at the highest level possible,
08:44but when they do get relegated,
08:46you want to see that being revitalised.
08:48Yeah, you're going to see it.
08:49But that's been the case.
08:50Relegation's been good at St Johnson,
08:52and when they go back to the Premiership,
08:54and I think it is a matter of time,
08:55they will go back a far better club than the one who left.
08:57I never thought I'd say this,
08:58but St Johnson have got a bit of an aura about them.
09:01I'm stuck with this aura thing.
09:03I'm just imagining all the farmers coming up,
09:04having a big aura with the tractors,
09:06with the suspension going up.
09:07Not every season can be plain sailing.
09:14There has to be Grumble somewhere,
09:15and it came in the form, weirdly enough,
09:17of a competition, ostensibly for children,
09:20to design a Halloween-themed T-shirt
09:22that would go on sale in the club store.
09:24And there are a couple of designs submitted,
09:26including one by a professional cartoonist
09:28called Steve Bright.
09:29That does give me the vibe that maybe they were like,
09:31the stuff that was coming in was rubbish.
09:33Yeah.
09:33We need to add to sell this.
09:35We want to make a few quid.
09:36Steve-o, you still doing that?
09:38You doing a bit of that old painting still, son?
09:40It's like Adam Webb going through all these things.
09:42These are terrible.
09:42These will never sell.
09:43Get me the number of the cartoonist.
09:46Now, St Johnson are the winners
09:48in the Scottish Championship.
09:50Who are the losers?
09:51The pre-season favourites, Ross County.
09:53They have been stinking to start the campaign,
09:56and they're already in a new manager
09:58who's now brought in another manager alongside them.
10:01Tony Doherty replacing Downcowey,
10:03and then got Callum Davidson
10:04as his assistant slash defensive coordinator.
10:07But if you said at the beginning of the season
10:09that Ross County would begin the campaign
10:11with four points from eight matches
10:13and have yet to actually win a game,
10:15I don't think anyone would have believed you.
10:16It was funny,
10:17because everybody praised their recruitment,
10:18and then St Johnson's initial sign,
10:20and everybody was like,
10:20hmm, not sure about them.
10:22But I think maybe in hindsight
10:24we got a bit wrong in the fact
10:25that County went for these guys
10:26who are experienced players,
10:28played for many years at the highest level,
10:30and now they're dropping down a level.
10:31Don't necessarily have a point to prove.
10:32Yes.
10:33On paper, they made a number of good signings,
10:35like Ross Doherty,
10:36former Dundee United captain,
10:37and Declan Gallagher,
10:38former Scotland international.
10:40Yeah, now he's been made captain by Tony Doherty,
10:42but he has had an appalling season so far,
10:44and it's best summed up by the game against Queen's Park.
10:48They're beating 2-1 at home.
10:49Gallagher was at fault for the first goal,
10:51and then he was sent off,
10:52hauling down Matty Shields,
10:53and you could just see it written all over him
10:56as he lay there,
10:57face down on the turf,
10:58just taking it all in,
11:00this disaster of a season,
11:02as the referees standing there patiently waiting to send them off.
11:04I actually felt,
11:05the referee's like,
11:06I feel really bad to him.
11:07I feel really bad,
11:08I'm going to have to show him this.
11:09Because he's like,
11:10motionless on the board,
11:11like a dead body,
11:12and the referee's like,
11:13Declan, Declan, Declan.
11:15And then eventually just has to slide the red card.
11:21There's something not quite right at Ross County,
11:23and it'll be very interesting to see
11:25how Tony Doherty extricates the club
11:28from their current position.
11:30Tony, let's talk about winners,
11:33let's talk about silly season,
11:34and let's talk about Scottish clubs
11:36having a good laugh on the continent.
11:37What a time to see Hibs and Dundee United
11:40go to some massive heritage European clubs,
11:43going to Rapid Vienna,
11:44Partizan Belgrade,
11:45Legia Warsaw,
11:46I mean,
11:46that's the most successful club in Polish history.
11:49And just cause absolute havoc.
11:50I mean,
11:51like,
11:51seven goals were scored.
11:52And even if you take away the away side of it,
11:55we saw Kieran Bowie,
11:56probably score the greatest goal
11:58a Scottish player's ever scored
12:00in European competition.
12:02And it's just,
12:03it was so much fun
12:05to be a part of.
12:06The videos that we saw
12:08from the time in Europe,
12:09particularly saying Hibs away,
12:10aha,
12:11aha,
12:11I like it,
12:11are absolutely fantastic.
12:12Yeah,
12:13the one in Denmark
12:14where you can see the whole stand,
12:15cause Hibs got the whole stand
12:16at the back there
12:16going right along.
12:17And even like,
12:25people,
12:25even outside the stands,
12:26people driving around the airports
12:28doing like that.
12:32There was something so amazing about it,
12:34it's cause you were going to like
12:35some of the,
12:36well,
12:37the most intimidating atmospheres
12:38in Europe.
12:39Belgrade,
12:40Warsaw,
12:41famous across Europe.
12:42But then when the goals are going in
12:44and you're playing these,
12:45they've got the huge flares going everywhere,
12:47absolute mad.
12:48And everyone's like,
12:49as always with Scottish football,
12:53it was so close,
12:54but yet so far.
12:55Yeah,
12:55how do you sum that up then?
12:56The fact that you did come
12:57within touch and distance
12:58to get in the Europa League football.
13:00It was an absolute gut punch.
13:02And like,
13:02now it's like,
13:03with all that,
13:03it was like,
13:04the six,
13:05the six games,
13:05it was like,
13:06Thursday,
13:07Thursday,
13:07Thursday.
13:07Then the league season comes in,
13:09Thursday,
13:09Thursday,
13:09Thursday,
13:09Thursday.
13:09And then by the time you're out,
13:11I'm absolutely,
13:12I was absolutely knackered.
13:13The travelling was mental
13:14trying to get back.
13:15And then you've got,
13:16and then by the time,
13:16I'm footballed out.
13:17And then you're like,
13:18all right,
13:18there's an entire season.
13:21Now there are some stories
13:22in Scottish football
13:23that are a bit more complex
13:25and require a deeper analysis.
13:27So I think this is
13:27the perfect opportunity
13:28to talk about
13:30the hottest topic
13:31that's in Scottish football
13:32right now.
13:33And that is fan protests.
13:35There are three clubs
13:36in the SPFL,
13:37all of varying levels.
13:38They're all going through
13:39their own editions
13:40of existential crisis.
13:41So I think it's a good idea
13:42to examine them,
13:43talk about them,
13:44and try to understand
13:45what is going wrong
13:46at those teams.
13:48And we'll start with yourself
13:48first, Craig Fowler.
13:49Let's talk about
13:50Rangers Football Club.
13:51I think it is best summed up
13:53by the game against Livingston
13:54last weekend,
13:55where Rangers score
13:56a 94th minute winner.
13:58And within about five seconds
14:00of that ball
14:00hitting the back of the net,
14:01you can hear the Rangers fans
14:03chanting,
14:03Martin, Martin,
14:04get to fuck.
14:05All right.
14:06Russell Martin
14:07really can't do right
14:08for doing wrong,
14:09can he?
14:09No, they never really liked him
14:11from the start.
14:12They didn't really think
14:12he had necessarily had
14:13the pedigree to manage Rangers
14:14and they just didn't like him
14:16as a person, really.
14:17Yeah, you can remove
14:18all the pedigree stuff.
14:19They don't like the fact
14:20that he puts his hair
14:20around like that.
14:21They don't like what he eats
14:22for his dinner.
14:23When he was previewing
14:25the Livingston game
14:26with a pair of glasses,
14:27I saw people like
14:27commenting on him
14:28saying,
14:28he's doing this
14:29just to wind us up.
14:31A man wants to see better
14:32and it annoys you.
14:34That's just,
14:35when you're in that
14:35sort of position,
14:36you really are,
14:37it's no one.
14:38You're fighting
14:39you're losing battle.
14:39Yeah.
14:40Yeah, and you saw it
14:40as well with the
14:41League Cup game
14:42against Hibbs,
14:42one of his,
14:43again, like the Livingston game,
14:44one of his rare high points
14:45in domestic football so far,
14:47where during the match
14:49they've got the big banners
14:50with Martin's face
14:51and the no smoking sign
14:52over the top of it
14:53and it was that,
14:54Patrick Stewart as well,
14:55the chief executive as well,
14:56who they're obviously
14:57blaming for hiring
14:58Martin in the first place
14:59because obviously
14:59if you make a mistake
15:00with a manager,
15:01you have to go yourself.
15:03Straight away.
15:04Now, while Rangers are unhappy
15:05that their manager
15:06is a vegan,
15:06I'm going to talk about
15:07a club who are fighting
15:08for the very existence
15:10and that is
15:11Hamilton Academico.
15:13You know,
15:13the last couple of years
15:14have been really difficult
15:15for Aki's fans
15:16but I think the six months
15:17especially have been
15:18incredibly testing.
15:20For breaching a number
15:20of SPFL rules,
15:22they were deducted 15 points
15:23at the tail end
15:24of last season.
15:24That ultimately led
15:25to the relegation
15:26into League One
15:27and then the day after that
15:28it was announced
15:29that the club were moving
15:30from New Douglas Park
15:31in Hamilton
15:31to Broadwood
15:32in Cumbernauld
15:3314 miles away.
15:35A stadium that no one
15:35wants to use.
15:36A stadium that no one
15:37wants to use at all.
15:38And then it was revealed
15:39a couple of weeks left
15:40would be placed
15:41under a transfer embargo
15:42for the breach
15:43of these rules.
15:43Now, they took on
15:44Montrose on the opening
15:45game of the season
15:46at Broadwood
15:47and before the match
15:47a number of fans
15:48were protesting
15:49outside the ground.
15:50The footage is actually
15:50captured there
15:51by a vlogger
15:52and you can see
15:53the fans really unhappy
15:54with the move
15:55to Cumbernauld,
15:56the mismanagement
15:57in the club.
15:57So they're in a real
15:59sad place.
16:00The fact that the club
16:00has been moved
16:0114 miles down the road,
16:03the fact that they are
16:04under a transfer embargo,
16:05there is talk
16:06of a takeover,
16:07it's yet to materialise
16:08but Hamilton's position
16:09is pretty perilous.
16:11I kind of found it
16:12hard to even try
16:12to have a laugh about it
16:13because it's just
16:14really sad.
16:15It's just like,
16:15imagine that happening
16:16at your club.
16:17It's like systematic
16:18destruction from the people
16:19who are supposed
16:20to be custodians.
16:21If you're a custodian,
16:22you're supposed to be
16:22looking after the club
16:23and it's clear
16:24that they're not doing that.
16:25Yeah, definitely.
16:26The idea of financial
16:27mismanagement,
16:28I think the director
16:29of football,
16:30Gerry Strain,
16:31particularly disliked
16:32at the club.
16:32Wait till they find
16:32out he's vegan,
16:33they're going to be
16:34absolutely furious with it.
16:36But it just shows
16:37the contrast
16:37in what's going on
16:38at the clubs.
16:39And if we're talking
16:40about a big club
16:41and a smaller club,
16:42let's finish up
16:42by looking at
16:43a bigger club
16:44and that's Celtic.
16:45What, the biggest club?
16:46Is that what you're
16:46saying to me?
16:46Oh, the big team found!
16:48Yeah, like with Celtic,
16:52it's more of an
16:53existential thing.
16:54I mean, last year,
16:55every E-Wine,
16:56after years and years
16:57of not moving forward
16:58at all in Europe,
16:59they finally sort of
17:00break through that.
17:01They finally seem to
17:02have found their place
17:03in it and they were
17:03really, really unlucky
17:04against Bayern Munich
17:05to get knocked out
17:06at that stage.
17:07But from then,
17:08it was like that moment,
17:09it was like a switch
17:10went off and it's like,
17:11right, we give up.
17:11They started drawing
17:12all the games
17:12in the Scottish Premiership
17:13and now when we've
17:14come to the summer,
17:15it's like the transfer
17:16window just snuck up
17:17on them.
17:17Not everyone just
17:19completely forgot about it
17:21and then they had
17:21one of their most
17:22embarrassing results
17:23in Europe ever
17:24and they...
17:25The classic champions
17:27who are not a
17:28particularly good side.
17:29Yeah, and they went
17:30210 minutes without
17:31scoring a goal
17:31against them.
17:32So, for the Celtic fans,
17:34for them,
17:34the context is everything.
17:36They put so much
17:37into Celtic.
17:38They understand that
17:39they have probably
17:39one of the most
17:40unique situations
17:41in football,
17:42which is perfect
17:43for maybe making
17:45a speculative signing
17:46or two,
17:46getting yourself ready.
17:47This season,
17:48for example,
17:49the Champions League,
17:50that's not going to be
17:50as easy to get
17:51from now on,
17:51so it seemed sensible
17:53this time,
17:53from even a business
17:54perspective,
17:55never tell you,
17:55a sporting perspective,
17:56to really get ready
17:57and make sure that
17:58we make that
17:58so we can push forward.
17:59But they say,
18:00no, do it.
18:00It just always feels like
18:01Celtic are run like
18:02a tiny club,
18:03despite being one of
18:04the biggest clubs
18:05on the planet.
18:05It's not quite
18:06on a scale of Hamilton,
18:07but Celtic fans have
18:08got the right to be
18:09very angry at their board.
18:10The fans want to feel
18:11when they invest so much
18:12time, money,
18:13and enthusiasm,
18:14that they're going to
18:15try and break it
18:15into other parts of it.
18:16I think as well,
18:17the fan protest,
18:18everyone needs to be
18:20united in order
18:21to make them work.
18:21I mean,
18:22Celtic protest in
18:23at Rugby Park
18:23at their away game
18:24against Kilmarnock
18:25where the fans
18:26were going to enter
18:27the ground
18:27after 12 minutes
18:28to make the point
18:28they are the 12th man
18:29and without them,
18:30Celtic won't have a support.
18:33In theory,
18:33it's a good idea,
18:34but in practice,
18:35I mean,
18:35half their away stand
18:36was full by the time
18:37they came in,
18:38so when these fans
18:39did turn up,
18:40it looked like
18:40a supporters bus
18:41had broken down
18:41on the way
18:42to the ground
18:42and these guys
18:43had just made it,
18:43it did not have
18:44the impact
18:44that it should have done
18:45because not everyone
18:46was pulling in
18:46the same direction.
18:47I think a problem
18:48with that as well
18:49is that you need
18:49to vote more
18:50with your feet,
18:51like in general,
18:52rather than doing
18:52these things
18:53or making a protest
18:55of coming in
18:5615 minutes later
18:56or leaving
18:5715 minutes from
18:57the end or whatever,
18:58you're still giving
18:59the club money.
19:00I think the only way
19:01that it ever makes
19:01boards sit up
19:02and pay attention
19:02is to withdraw
19:04your funds.
19:05Protests can work
19:06as well.
19:06I mean,
19:07and Tony Hibernian,
19:08they've probably had
19:08one of the most famous
19:09fan movements
19:10in Scottish football.
19:11Yeah,
19:11I mean,
19:12we take you back
19:13to 1990.
19:15I was four years old.
19:16This is actually
19:16my earliest memory
19:18of football.
19:19It was Wallace Mercer
19:19who tried to make
19:20an aggressive takeover.
19:22Hibbs,
19:22I mean,
19:22he called it a merger
19:23but he was going
19:23to use the football
19:24club of Hibernian
19:25and Heart of Midlothian.
19:29It was an incredible time
19:31because to see,
19:32like,
19:33they unified
19:33the whole Hibbs fan base
19:35and it was like
19:35military precision.
19:37They'd done
19:37a six week campaign
19:38where there are buses
19:39going through Edinburgh
19:40like the Sunshare,
19:41this is when Sunshare
19:42and Leaf became
19:43the unofficial anthem
19:44of the club.
19:44The proclaimers were there,
19:46they were hosting gigs
19:47at the Usher Hall
19:48in Edinburgh
19:49and it all ended
19:50with David Duff
19:51who was the chairman
19:52at Hibbs there
19:52and he wasn't very popular
19:53because obviously
19:54his financial mismanagement
19:55is what led to this situation.
19:57Wallace Mercer needed
19:57his shares to get over there.
19:59He actually sat
20:00in Wallace Mercer's office
20:02and set fire
20:03to his shares
20:03in front of them.
20:04so I mean
20:05this is
20:05such a cultural movement
20:07and the t-shirts
20:08were really, really cool
20:09so it's like
20:10the memory of
20:11Hands Off Hibbs
20:11it's a good name as well.
20:12Hands Off Hibbs
20:13it all really worked
20:14so now you can look back
20:15at a difficult time
20:16it's now probably
20:17one of the most
20:17romanticised periods
20:18and managing to get
20:19Tom Farmer
20:20to come forward
20:21and save the club
20:22like his grandfather
20:23done a hundred years earlier
20:25done the exact same thing
20:26despite not being involved
20:27in football
20:27it now looks
20:28as actually quite a magical time.
20:30Hibbs went on
20:30and won the Skull Cup
20:31that season.
20:31I think in every instance
20:32though
20:33the protest
20:33they can be justified
20:35yes the barrier for entry
20:36might have reduced
20:37in recent years
20:38and yes
20:38if you're just unhappy
20:39the fact your manager's
20:40got a middle parting
20:41then you need to have
20:43glasses
20:43you need to have
20:45slightly higher standards
20:46but I always think
20:47that it's all relative
20:48to the football club
20:49the fact that
20:49people think Celtic
20:50are the most successful
20:51football club
20:52in the country
20:52are just unhappy
20:53that they're not winning
20:54they don't have
20:56as good a squad
20:57as they think
20:57that's all relative
20:58to the fans
20:59the fact that Rangers fans
21:00are not happy
21:00with the direction of the club
21:01it's all relative to them
21:02and the fact that Hamilton fans
21:03are not happy with the very existence
21:05of their club
21:06everyone would be angry with that
21:07so yeah I think that
21:09in probably
21:10most instances
21:11protests are correct
21:12yeah everybody
21:13everybody in football
21:14should have the right
21:15as a fan
21:16to hold accountable
21:17the people who are in charge
21:18of your club
21:18because without that
21:19then things can get a lot worse
21:21and nowadays
21:21in Scottish football
21:22we have so much
21:24foreign investment
21:24the clubs have now been
21:25further away from their communities
21:26let's be honest
21:27especially in Hamilton's case
21:29and we have to treat that
21:33with suspicion
21:33people have to prove
21:34their reasons
21:35for being involved
21:36and protests
21:37is the quickest way
21:38to do that
21:38this side
22:02I suppose it's like a first love
22:04that you can't let go of
22:04it doesn't actually feel like
22:08we've been away
22:08it seems like
22:09we've been more like
22:10an exile or something
22:11we're waiting to come back
22:15our journey
22:24to our new home
22:25takes us past
22:26the stadium
22:26which is quite ironic
22:29we finish our game
22:31we cross down the bridge
22:33and there they are
22:36I mean it's Caledonian Thistle
22:38it's almost comical
22:40we wish them all the worst
22:43and home we go
22:45I just wish that they took
22:48our Thistle part away
22:50so as not to confuse
22:52anybody with what we have going
22:54which is the rebirth
22:55of I mean it's Thistle
22:56my name's Russell Hepburn
23:00I mean it's Thistle
23:01obviously my club
23:01we were formed in 1885
23:04and we're the inaugural champions
23:06of the Highland League
23:06I was taken to Thistle Park
23:10from the age of 4 onwards
23:12with family and relatives
23:13it's always been in my blood
23:15growing up as a Thistle fan
23:18was a great experience
23:19because in those days
23:20we had brilliant derby matches
23:21it's a local rival
23:24we're called Caledonian or Cali
23:26and that was a brilliant occasion
23:29something to really look forward to
23:30previous team
23:32our last ever competitive fixture
23:34versus Lossiemouth
23:35that's 93-94
23:36in 92-93 I think it was
23:40there seemed to be
23:41a groundswell of opinion
23:43that Thistle and Cali
23:44would have to merge
23:45as one team
23:46the merger of Inverness clubs
23:48Caledonian and Thistle
23:49became an on-field reality
23:51at the weekend
23:52it's not hard to see
23:53why the Thistle fans
23:54are so blue
23:55dead set against it
23:57as all Ardent fans were
23:59the new team's strip
24:01is almost a carbon copy
24:02of the old blue Cali shirt
24:04the team's playing in Cali Park
24:06with Cali's former manager
24:07and most of Cali's players
24:09it was never a question
24:10of would I ever attend
24:11and follow that club
24:13it was never a question
24:14so basically that was my Saturdays
24:16and the football capacity had gone
24:17and that was it finished
24:18to me Thistle were the first and last
24:21and once they went
24:23I would never have a passion
24:24to support another club
24:26I kind of lost a lot of love
24:28for football
24:29it's been indifference
24:32every other Saturday
24:33for 31 years
24:35I got a phone call
24:41saying that
24:42there was a small group
24:44floating the idea
24:45of bringing Thistle back
24:46and obviously
24:47I just jumped onto that
24:49it was a no-brainer
24:50absolutely
25:00I'm an SSL FC
25:02founded in 2024
25:04gain admittance
25:06into the North Caledonian league
25:08and that's the sixth tier
25:09of Scottish football
25:10ah brilliant mate
25:13they've even got
25:14the wonky touchlines
25:14it's exciting
25:17they've been playing well
25:17it's a good concept
25:18and people are buying into it
25:20ah it's a cracker isn't it
25:23so now you have
25:35us playing in
25:36much lesser league
25:37outside of town
25:39you've got to start somewhere
25:41it's kind of funny
25:43coming here
25:44because obviously
25:44it's not a stadium as such
25:46we don't have the main stand
25:47the tin shed and what not
25:48there's no admittance fee
25:49you come for a gate
25:50you're on the sidelines
25:51you're behind this
25:52piece of rope and what not
25:53but it's a great hope
25:55the Jags usually play
25:58in the red and black
25:58vertical stripes
25:59as in AC Milan
26:00today we're playing
26:01the waist strip
26:01which has always been
26:02the sky blue
26:03with the purple trim
26:04I keep saying I'm never
26:06going to wear it again
26:06because it sounds like
26:0731 years of age
26:08can't help it
26:09I've not seen these guys
26:23for years
26:23and I know it means
26:24as much to them
26:25as it means to me
26:26the memories and everything
26:27just comes flooding back
26:28it's like a huge reunion
26:30on the sidelines
26:31that's the way
26:54go yourself
26:55go yourself
26:55go
26:56go
26:58our ultimate aim
27:12is to get back
27:12into playing
27:14in the Highland League
27:14for me
27:17just getting our club
27:18our colours
27:19and my Saturdays
27:20back
27:20it's incredible
27:22miracles
27:25so as autumn rolls in
27:36we are well and truly
27:37in the midst of the season
27:39every team's squad
27:40is settled
27:41and we know the difference
27:42from our great white hopes
27:43to our great big hoodies
27:44and I want to discuss
27:46this magical time
27:47in a bit more depth
27:48that magical time
27:49known as
27:50the summer transfer window
27:52now every nation
27:54that's involved
27:54with FIFA and UEFA
27:55has a summer transfer window
27:56but no one does it
27:58quite as good
27:59as Scotland
28:00Craig Fowler
28:01what does the transfer window
28:02mean to you?
28:03the transfer window
28:04is a special
28:05and unique
28:06time of the year
28:07especially the summer
28:08transfer window
28:09because in January
28:09there's still a lot
28:10of moving parts going on
28:11summer there's no football
28:12and you've drawn a line
28:14under what's come before
28:15usually crushing disappointment
28:17but the summer
28:18offers hope
28:19it offers the ability
28:20that anybody bring in
28:22to be the next club hero
28:23the next player
28:24to lead you to like
28:25cup victory
28:27or a league title
28:28and forever be somebody
28:29that's going to be
28:30within your heart
28:30even when they're signed
28:32from a low level
28:33and some fans are like
28:34oh I'm not sure about this
28:35there's always an instance
28:37of somebody you can
28:38fall back on
28:38well he came from that level
28:40and he was brilliant
28:41so it's just the time
28:42of the year where
28:43everybody's at their
28:44most happiest
28:44because anything is possible
28:46everyone's at their happiest
28:47but everyone's also
28:48at their most curious
28:49Tony
28:50and it turns some people
28:51into detective
28:52oh man
28:53this new thing
28:54people are so desperate
28:56to know who's coming
28:57into their club
28:57you can't wait
28:58for the tweet to drop
28:59everybody wants to be ITK
29:01everyone wants to have that
29:02and my favourite part
29:04of this genre
29:05that I've seen
29:06in recent years
29:06is there was a guy
29:07on Hibs.net
29:08called Saul Goodman
29:10alright
29:10and he
29:12through like
29:13scouring social media
29:15profiles
29:15for this player
29:16it was specifically
29:17Stefano Meonga
29:18he managed to figure out
29:19that he was leaving
29:20at a specific time
29:22on us flight
29:23and he managed to look
29:24at the flight times
29:24and work it
29:25well that was four hours ago
29:26so that means he might have
29:27been on the flight
29:28from Milan
29:29that was at 6am
29:30landing at 10 past 8
29:32in Edinburgh
29:32so he's figuring all this out
29:34and then Meonga
29:35posts something
29:36on his social media
29:37with the sun
29:38and I quote
29:39you can see the reflection
29:40of the sun
29:41in the wingtip
29:41of the plane
29:42the sun is rising
29:43on the opposite side
29:44of the plane
29:44to him
29:44ergo
29:45the plane is flying north
29:46over the Swiss Alps
29:47and not south
29:48and yes
29:49it might be insane
29:50but he was absolutely spot on
29:52that's just
29:53that's just an incredible
29:54level of detail
29:55just to find out
29:56whether or not
29:56a fairly ordinary
29:57midfielder
29:58was going to be
30:00during your football club
30:01every summer transfer
30:02that's a time
30:03when squads are turned over
30:04and you might see that
30:05like to a real big extent
30:06where sometimes
30:0720 players leave
30:0820 players come in
30:09but it's normally done
30:10over a period
30:11of several months
30:12it's very rare
30:13that clubs will turn over
30:14the entire teams
30:15all on the same day
30:16but that's exactly
30:17what happened to Kilmarnock
30:19in the summer of 2016
30:21on the 30th of June
30:232016
30:24the then manager
30:25Lee Clark
30:26brought 11 players
30:27into his club
30:29at the one time
30:30as we can see
30:31with this
30:31incredible photograph
30:33that was posted
30:33on Kilmarnock's
30:34Twitter page
30:35now I'm going to do
30:36my best
30:36Norm Macdonald
30:37at the YouTube Awards
30:38voice here
30:39when I list
30:40all 11 players
30:41Callum McFadgen
30:42Josh Webb
30:43Jamie Cobain
30:44Jonathan Byrne
30:45Mark Waddington
30:46William Boyle
30:48Jordan Jones
30:49Martin Smith
30:50Oliver Davis
30:51Solomon Coulibaly
30:52and Flo Bojaj

30:54the true stars
30:57of this period
30:58of time
30:58at Kilmarnock
30:59is the admin staff
31:00like that
31:01it's an absolute
31:01what a job
31:02yeah yeah
31:03they've all
31:03guys all assigned
31:04we need pensions
31:06we need HR
31:06we need all sorts
31:07cheers lads
31:07all the best
31:08they not only
31:11had the infamous
31:12photo but also
31:12the press conference
31:13where the
31:14journalists spoke
31:15to every single
31:15one of them
31:16at the same time
31:16how long's the
31:17desk
31:17just imagine
31:18and that's
31:20what game
31:20what makes it
31:20so magical
31:21anything that
31:22happened last
31:23season
31:23it doesn't matter
31:24here's a brand
31:25new team
31:25they've been
31:25entirely signed
31:26everything you
31:26knew doesn't
31:27matter
31:27a lot of the
31:28time when we
31:28see new players
31:29coming in in the
31:30summer transfer
31:30window there's a
31:31lot of hype
31:31created about them
31:32you know they
31:33get absolutely
31:33fantastic graphics
31:34incredible photographs
31:35you know there's
31:36like a real team
31:37of people involved
31:38you know Photoshop
31:39After Effects
31:40the works
31:40the hype up these
31:41players and look
31:42make them look as
31:43magnificent as
31:44possible
31:44wasn't quite the
31:46case in the
31:46summer of 2017
31:47when Stennis
31:48Muir signed
31:49Ross Dunlop
31:49and Mick Dunlop
31:50from Albayne
31:51Rovers and
31:52rather than
31:52putting them in
31:53a glitzy studio
31:53and giving them
31:54a lot of
31:54pizzazz and
31:55razzmatazz
31:55they basically
31:56took photographs
31:56of them in
31:57McDonald's
31:57restaurant
31:58signing their
31:59contracts
31:59as Fowler
32:00mentioned earlier
32:01everyone wants
32:02to be ITK
32:03about the
32:03summer transfer
32:04window but
32:05some people
32:05like to play
32:06pranks and
32:07our very own
32:08Joel Sked
32:09fell foul of
32:10one of these
32:11pranks recently
32:11oh this one
32:13from handsome
32:14flackle
32:15jodoy
32:16are we looking
32:17at Anderlec
32:17striker
32:18Haywood
32:18Jablomi
32:19I need to
32:20see if this
32:21is actually
32:22a real person
32:22it's like you're
32:24getting Bart
32:24Simpson
32:24Haywood
32:27Jablomi
32:28ah ok
32:31I see what's
32:32happened here
32:32I've just read
32:34that I made
32:35oh dear
32:36that will live
32:37with me
32:38hey would
32:41Jablomi
32:42that will stay
32:43with me
32:43forever
32:43there's been a
32:54lot of players
32:54that have come
32:55in over the
32:56summer
32:56Tony who has
32:57been your
32:58favourite so far
32:59actually this is
33:00really easy
33:00Emmanuel
33:01Longelo
33:01that signed
33:02for Motherwell
33:03he signed
33:04from Birmingham
33:05reported like a
33:06six figure fee
33:07but this guy is
33:08liquid
33:09Scottish football
33:09you cannot miss
33:11him on the
33:11pitch
33:11his engine
33:12up and down
33:13left hand side
33:13he's really good
33:14at dribbling
33:14he drops
33:15slamming
33:15three players
33:16but always
33:17when he gets
33:17them
33:17he just
33:18crosses the
33:18ball
33:18at the
33:19pitch
33:19it's mesmerising
33:22but on top
33:23of that
33:23he might not
33:24have brought
33:24his crossing
33:25boot
33:25but he's
33:25absolutely
33:26brought
33:26his
33:26shooting
33:26boots
33:27he's
33:27already
33:27got four
33:28goals
33:28from
33:29other
33:29well
33:29from
33:30fullback
33:30right now
33:31I think
33:31he's been
33:32involved in
33:3244%
33:33of their
33:34league goals
33:35this guy
33:35is pure
33:36Scottish football
33:37and I hope
33:38it just
33:38continues to
33:39rattle on
33:39this way
33:40there is
33:40a lot of
33:41football
33:41taking place
33:42over the
33:43weekend
33:43and I think
33:44we owe it
33:44to ourselves
33:45and to our
33:45viewers
33:46to select
33:46the very
33:47best games
33:48the connoisseur's
33:49choice of where
33:50to go
33:50at the weekend
33:51and we've got
33:52a hearts fan
33:52and we've got
33:53a house fan
33:54and I think
33:54in the Scottish
33:55Premiership
33:55there is only
33:56one game
33:57we can discuss
33:58the Edinburgh
33:58Derby
33:59yeah
33:59the pissed up
34:00derby
34:00as it'll be
34:00this weekend
34:01because
34:01this game
34:02is live
34:03on the
34:03telly
34:03at 5.45
34:04kick-off
34:05on a
34:05Saturday
34:06all police
34:07leave cancelled
34:07yeah
34:08I have no
34:09idea how
34:09the police
34:10actually agreed
34:10to this
34:11but
34:11do you know
34:11what
34:12hopefully
34:12everybody
34:13behaves
34:13themselves
34:13to an
34:14extent
34:14you still
34:14want the
34:15tribalism
34:15you still
34:16want the
34:16hatred
34:17but it
34:18should lead
34:18at the very
34:18least
34:19to an
34:19absolutely
34:19cracking
34:19atmosphere
34:20and hopefully
34:21almost expectantly
34:23surely
34:24surely
34:24with everything
34:25going on
34:25with both
34:26teams
34:26we should
34:26have a good
34:27game of
34:27football
34:27between the
34:28two
34:28for a change
34:29how are you
34:30feeling about it
34:31Phil are you
34:31feeling confident
34:31I'm actually
34:32confident
34:33especially since
34:34Tibbs have won
34:35the last two
34:35matches
34:36one defeat
34:37and eight
34:37still stings
34:39feel like we're due
34:39Tibbs are doing reasonably
34:40well at the moment
34:41maybe they would
34:42hope to be doing a
34:43little bit better
34:43than this
34:43considering how good
34:44they were last
34:45season
34:45and how good
34:46they looked in the
34:47European games
34:47but they're still
34:49undefeated in the
34:49league
34:50and Hearts
34:50obviously spoke
34:51about them
34:51earlier
34:51absolutely flying
34:52at the top of
34:53the table
34:53Hearts at home
34:53so yeah
34:54I do have
34:54confidence that
34:55Hearts will
34:56use that momentum
34:57going into this game
34:58to be able to get
34:59the better of their
35:00rivals
35:00I'm buzzing about
35:01the fact that
35:02obviously because
35:02Tibbs are still
35:03undefeated but not
35:04in as a cool way
35:05as possibly Hearts
35:06and the hand
35:07wringing that's
35:07going on as
35:08always about Hearts
35:09being good
35:09it always just hits
35:10the stratosphere
35:11so to do it this
35:12time go to Tyne Castle
35:13and beat them
35:14and actually be the
35:15only undefeated team
35:16left in Edinburgh
35:17I think will be
35:18very very sweet
35:20you're pretty
35:20confident in this one
35:21Tony you're pretty
35:22juiced up for it
35:22all these guys that
35:23have come for these
35:24lower league teams
35:25have you ever
35:26played in the real
35:27stuff where it's
35:28like poison
35:28how are they going
35:30to couple off
35:30that's fine now
35:31well you know
35:33it's something
35:34that's a very
35:34compelling argument
35:35to go to Tyne Castle
35:36for this one
35:37but I suggest that
35:38you can maybe make
35:39a double header
35:39of this
35:40I'm going to talk
35:40about the real
35:41Edinburgh Derby
35:42it's taking place
35:43at Ainsley Park
35:44at 3 o'clock
35:45between the Spartans
35:46and Edinburgh City
35:47this is going to be
35:48a fantastic game
35:49it's top of league 2
35:50versus the bottom
35:51of league 2
35:52I think there's a lot
35:53riding in this one
35:53but really the teams
35:55are pretty evenly matched
35:56because we're talking
35:56about like a points
35:57deduction that's really
35:58making it like this
35:59isn't it
35:59I think it's important
36:00to talk about
36:01Edinburgh's current
36:02situation
36:02they were deducted
36:0315 points at the
36:03beginning of the season
36:04which really scuppered
36:05any hopes they had
36:06of challenging for the
36:07title
36:07they triggered an
36:09insolvency event
36:10for owing a small
36:11bit of money to a
36:11creditor
36:12and even although
36:13it was only for
36:13such a short period
36:14that comes with a
36:1515 point deduction
36:16however it has had
36:18a galvanising effect
36:18in the club
36:19they have been
36:19chipping away at
36:21that 15 point deduction
36:22they've been playing
36:22some pretty good
36:23football at the process
36:24and if they can win
36:25on Saturday
36:25it takes them to
36:27zero points
36:27that might not sound
36:28like a particularly
36:29great achievement
36:29but I think
36:30psychologically
36:31it's enormous for
36:32them and I think
36:33that can give them
36:33the platform to go
36:34and kick up the
36:34table
36:35it's not out of
36:36realms of possibility
36:36but I think
36:37Edinburgh could
36:37actually finish in the
36:38playoffs this season
36:39even with that
36:40points deduction
36:41well I mean you are
36:42quite literally the
36:43mouthpiece of
36:44Edinburgh City football
36:44oh yeah
36:45I don't mind saying
36:48that I think
36:49Edinburgh City
36:50could take on
36:50Real Madrid
36:51and I think
36:52Michael McAdoo's
36:53team have got a
36:53wee bit of chance
36:54here
36:54but it's also
36:56still going to be
36:56a really tough
36:57game because the
36:58Spartans are flying
36:59at the top of the
36:59table
36:59a four point lead
37:00over East
37:01Colbride
37:01not many people
37:02saw that coming
37:02out of this season
37:03the teams don't
37:03like each other
37:04that goes back a
37:05number of years
37:06but the Spartans do
37:07have the edge here
37:08last season they won
37:09both encounters at
37:10Ainsley Park
37:10got a lot riding
37:12on this one
37:12so aye
37:13make it a double
37:13header
37:14Ainsley Park
37:14in the afternoon
37:15Tyne Castle
37:16later in the
37:17evening
37:17well that all
37:18sounds exceptional
37:20and it'll be a
37:21wonderful day out
37:22and you're expecting
37:22some great football
37:23but it's all a bit
37:24mainstream
37:25is it not
37:26I mean it's all a bit
37:27like
37:27Spartans versus
37:28Edinburgh City
37:28I'm still right
37:31Tony that is
37:31too mainstream
37:32I'm sorry
37:33did you get a
37:33ticket for the
37:34Oasis game
37:34did you enjoy it
37:35but to know
37:37things that are
37:38going to be good
37:39you need things
37:40that are bad
37:41to have that
37:42yin and yang
37:43so I want to
37:44take you to
37:45quite literally
37:46the worst
37:47full time team
37:48in Scotland
37:49and that is
37:50up the north east
37:51once again
37:51where football
37:52is going to die
37:53this year
37:54and Cove Rangers
37:55are away at
37:56East Fife
37:57yeah it's not
37:58been a good season
37:59at all for Cove
38:00Rangers
38:00they lost to
38:01Celtic Hearts
38:01the weekend
38:01beating 2-0
38:02and they're
38:03actually adrift
38:04at the bottom
38:05of League One
38:06it's not been a
38:07good season at all
38:08for Paul Hartley
38:08they've had
38:09I think there's
38:09been cutbacks
38:10at the club
38:11they don't seem
38:11to have any
38:11players
38:12cutbacks at the
38:13club doesn't
38:13necessarily
38:14be able to
38:14recruit the
38:15players that
38:15you want
38:15a lot of
38:16key players
38:16are missing
38:17Mikey Doyle
38:17one of the
38:18most reliable
38:18players in the
38:19squad
38:19he's out injured
38:20Fraser 5y
38:20Declan Glass
38:21it's effectively
38:22a lot of
38:23young inexperienced
38:24players taking
38:25the first steps
38:25in the game
38:26smattered with a
38:27bit of experience
38:27there
38:27it's not going
38:28well
38:28it's good that
38:29you've given
38:29a bit of
38:30context to people
38:31because for me
38:32when I was
38:33looking at it
38:33I was like
38:33did they not
38:34finish second
38:35this season
38:35and were
38:35on the brink
38:37of being
38:37promoted to
38:38the championship
38:38so I was a bit
38:39that's the reason
38:40I wanted to go
38:40what the hell
38:41is going on
38:42in there
38:42and East Fife
38:43they're mid-table
38:44but they've been
38:44their games
38:46have been really
38:46exciting
38:46they've averaging
38:47three goals
38:48a game
38:48so even though
38:49we're talking
38:50about everything
38:51that's going
38:51to be bad
38:51we're doing it
38:52in a world
38:53where I think
38:53there's going
38:53to be loads
38:54of goals
38:54and loads
38:55of excitement
38:55well gentlemen
38:56I think that'll
38:57do us for the
38:58time being
38:59but before we
39:00head up the road
39:01can I ask you
39:02both to take me
39:03on a little game
39:04known as
39:05The Banker
39:06yes it is back
39:08for season
39:09number eight
39:10you know how
39:11it works by now
39:12it's me
39:12versus The Stink
39:14every week
39:15we guess the outcome
39:16of Scottish football
39:17matches
39:18and we get points
39:19for every correct
39:20prediction we make
39:21this week
39:22just like every other
39:23week
39:24we are competing
39:25for this
39:25the Eamon Brophy
39:27Lone Wolf Trophy
39:29bigger
39:30better
39:30and more beautiful
39:31than it was last year
39:33you can barely look
39:34at it it's so sparkly
39:35and it's something
39:36got wings as well
39:37where did they come
39:39from
39:39to fly away from
39:40you when you're
39:41trying to win it
39:41no more Tony
39:44no more
39:45that trophy
39:46is going
39:47to be mine
39:48and now
39:49Scotland men's team
39:51have got two
39:51enormous games
39:52coming up next week
39:53in their World Cup
39:54qualifying campaign
39:55and to celebrate
39:57that fact
39:57the stipulation
39:59this week is
39:59you can pick
40:00from any team
40:01in the SPFL
40:02to win
40:03but they must
40:04be managed
40:04by a former
40:05Scotland international
40:06or a former
40:07Scotland B international
40:09so
40:10limited options
40:12but options
40:13all the same
40:14not as many
40:14as you'd think
40:15but Craig Fowler
40:16we'll come to you
40:17first
40:17what are you going for
40:18I'm going to ignore
40:18Derek McInnesy's
40:19humble Scotland career
40:20come on
40:20and instead
40:22I'm going to go
40:23for
40:24Partick Thistle
40:25and Mark Wilson
40:26to beat
40:27are both at home
40:28it's a tricky game
40:29are both
40:30doing a lot better
40:31in the championship
40:31than I think
40:32many expected
40:32coming out of this season
40:33so I wouldn't be surprised
40:35if this is a bit of a banana skin
40:36but Thistle are just flying
40:38at this point in time
40:39they're winning every single week
40:40they're playing some really nice football
40:42and a lot of Thistle fans
40:43who in the summer
40:44were really unsure
40:45about how it happened
40:47how Wilson got the job
40:48felt he was kind of like
40:48a cheaper option
40:49or kind of a lazy option
40:50and he didn't have the
40:52best of managerial careers
40:53before that
40:54but fair play to him
40:55he's really getting a tune out
40:56of this team
40:56he's absolutely cooking
40:58at the moment
40:58and I'm really annoyed
40:59because that was exactly
41:01the game that I was
41:01going to go for
41:02yes
41:03but nevertheless
41:04still plenty to pick from
41:05so I'm going to look
41:06very close to home
41:07and I am going to back
41:08Stennisbure manager
41:09Gary Naismith
41:10one of the best left backs
41:11this country has ever produced
41:13I'm going to back his team
41:14to beat Montrose
41:15now Montrose are in
41:16really good form
41:17at the moment
41:17really good form
41:18actually six wins
41:19and undefeated in seven
41:20in all competitions
41:21and Stennisbure
41:22yes they lost against
41:23Hamilton Academical
41:24at the weekend
41:25but prior to that
41:26they were absolutely flying
41:27and I think it's a really
41:28good opportunity for
41:29Stennisbure to bounce back
41:30Stennisbure to win
41:31and a point to me
41:33Tony Anderson
41:34what's his second pick
41:35let's go to Pataudry
41:36where Aberdeen are playing
41:38Dundee with Stephen Presley
41:41of course having a pretty big
41:43Scotland career
41:43in the past
41:45and this seems like
41:47two teams
41:48it's the two teams
41:48at the bottom of the division
41:50and we were talking about
41:52Russell Martin earlier
41:53another manager who came in
41:55and everyone was already
41:56unhappy about
41:57Stephen Presley man
41:58they were not impressed
41:59and again
42:00we've got to the same thing
42:02they don't like the way he sits
42:03they don't like the way
42:04they don't like the way
42:05that his hair lies
42:06they don't like the fact
42:07that maybe he's aged
42:08since the last song
42:12but it feels like
42:13such a massive game
42:15I mean it's huge
42:15for both clubs
42:16it could be huge
42:18because suddenly
42:18it could change
42:19the whole narrative
42:20about him
42:20he's got a big win
42:21away from home
42:22and like I said
42:24for Aberdeen
42:24it would really be
42:25we are kicking around
42:26end of days
42:27so that's Stephen Presley's
42:28Dundee to get the win
42:29at Potaudry
42:30why not
42:30now for my final pick
42:32I'm going to go
42:33to the capital city
42:34there's a very very big
42:35game taking place
42:36and I'm back in Edinburgh City
42:38to beat the Spartans
42:40it's simple
42:40Michael McIndoe
42:41a Scotland B cap
42:42listen
42:44I would run through
42:45brick walls for that man
42:46I know
42:48and I'm not one of his players
42:49I just think
42:49it's a great opportunity
42:52for the Spartans
42:52to extend their lead
42:53at the top of the table
42:54but there's so much
42:56riding in it
42:56for Edinburgh City
42:57and if they can get
42:57to zero points
42:58particularly against
43:00the Spartans
43:01I think it's going
43:01to be enormous for them
43:02so I am backing
43:03the citizens for this one
43:04did Simon have a
43:05very good record
43:06in the derby last year
43:07as well
43:07they won two games
43:08where they were both
43:08at home
43:08they lost both games away
43:10ah right ok
43:10the law of averages
43:11the law of averages
43:12say it's back
43:13listen
43:14that's the best thing
43:16to put your faith in
43:17the law of averages
43:17because if you
43:18if you can't think
43:19of any rational
43:20or analytical reason
43:21to pick someone
43:22just go over
43:22the law of averages
43:23he seems to do this
43:24and that's what
43:25you become
43:25become your tagline
43:28because it's just easier
43:28yeah that's
43:29it's a law of averages
43:31cheers
43:31a view from the terrace
43:32the law of averages
43:34you
43:43out
43:45you
43:50you
43:52you
