00:00We're here at The Dress in Oswestry and we're here with the boss. Introduce yourself, madam.

00:04Hiya, I'm Katrina and I've recently started, well, opened The Dress Bridal Boutique in Oswestry.

00:11Cool, and it's down Old Court.

00:14Old Chapel.

00:15Old Chapel. I knew when I said Old Court that wasn't right.

00:18Old Chapel, which is the nice little passageway just kind of off the main shopping street there.

00:24And you've not been open that long, really, have you?

00:26We opened the middle of October, but properly the beginning of November.

00:32So, yeah, not long at all, mate.

00:33So, what made you want to enter the world of The Bride?

00:39Whenever I was choosing my own wedding dress, I really struggled to find exactly what I wanted.

00:45I went to different shops and just couldn't find what I wanted.

00:49I also felt a bit that people were maybe a bit judgy.

00:54I didn't like that.

00:55So, I've always wanted to do this for 20-odd years now.

01:01So, finally, bit the bullet, opened up the shop.

01:04And, yeah, I just want it to feel really nice and a pleasant experience for all brides coming in

01:10and give them that confidence then for their wedding day.

01:14So, tell us a bit about what you do here in terms of what you stock and what you sell then.

01:19So, we've got a variety of different dresses.

01:22We also do separate now.

01:24So, tops, skirts, trousers, jumpsuits, mini dresses.

01:29They're all big news for 2026.

01:32Yeah.

01:32So, various different dresses.

01:35We start with Catherine Dean.

01:37We've got Alize.

01:38We've got Maura Lee.

01:40We've got Martina Liana.

01:42And then we've got different collections from within those designers as well.

01:47Yeah.

01:47And it's a nice, big, airy space.

01:50You've got a big changing room area upstairs.

01:53There's plenty of room here as well.

01:55And if people want to find out a bit more about what you do or kind of come and see you,

02:01Yeah, definitely.
