00:00Whistleblowers have told Panorama that the Met still has a problem with misogyny and racism
00:05and pointed us towards Charing Cross police station.
00:20The sergeant booking the man into custody is Joe McIlvenny.
00:24He's an old hand with nearly 20 years service in the Met.
00:30A woman's just been brought in, arrested for being drunk and disorderly.
00:43She's wearing a fancy dress police uniform.
00:47Sergeant McIlvenny seems particularly interested in her.
00:52What's that? She's wearing a leather police outfit.
00:55I paid money to go to clubs and see women dressed like this.
01:10That's Sergeant McIlvenny making the sound of a siren as he heads to where the woman is going to be searched.
01:15He's going for it.
01:24I've just never seen him react that way to an arrested person being brought into detention.
01:28He shot up from his seat, he looked on the CCTV monitor, and then he went down to the cage to oversee the search of the woman.
01:37It made me feel uncomfortable.
