00:00who wants to improve his or her own chess game.
00:04It's a masterclass, which means we have to discuss
00:08different elements of the game of chess.
00:11We'll talk about the openings,
00:13maybe not as much as many of you expect.
00:16We'll talk about middle game, strategies, end games, tactics,
00:23the way to recognize chess patterns,
00:25the way to apply the knowledge that you'll be learning
00:28through this masterclass.
00:29No matter how much knowledge you can draw from this masterclass,
00:34there's so much more to learn.
00:36And you have to use it as a platform for future learning.
00:41You have to appreciate that chess is an immensely rich game,
00:45and you can always keep finding new ideas
00:48that will make you happy.
00:50Nothing could make people happier than,
00:53from my perspective, of course,
00:55as to find new ideas,
00:58and just to make yourself more engaged in this process,
01:03endless process of exploration.
01:05And, of course, all these lessons are based on my personal experience.
01:13Personal stories are making a very important part of this masterclass
01:18because I want you to understand how I, Gary Kasparov, learned this thing,
01:24why I believe it's important and how this experience could help you to look at certain positions,
01:34at certain patterns, at certain techniques from my own eyes.
01:39There are many personal details, of course,
01:41stories about my matches and the way I prepared for them.
01:45And I believe that creates the right mixture that will help you to navigate
01:52throughout this very complex process.
01:55While people talk all the time about one person...
01:59when people talk to their minds.
02:00When people talk to their parents,
02:01they are making a strong decision.
02:05So that they will be able to go to their parents,
02:06and then they will be able to take them into the same place,
02:08and they will be able to stay where they'll be able to join the other ways.
02:10And they will be able to play them all a little bit.
02:10And I hope you can try to hear the terrifying ideas
02:12that want to hear from people and to the next person.
02:14And if you have a single person,
02:14then they will be able to do their family.
02:16They will be able to do works to get some personal experiences.
02:17So that they will be able to work to do with them.
02:19So if you have to go out there,
02:21you do have to listen to,
02:22you have to take a little bit,
02:23I'm going to say the best way you have to learn there.
