Since All Elite Wrestling isn't doing it, we'll do it ourself. It's the end of year 5 and the start of year 6 next week with Dynamite in Hollywood, FL. Join the Death Rider youths as the reasoning gets explained. Yes, I borrow two bits but it's a tribute and not going to be recurring.

00:00What up, nerds? Welcome to Graptops. We paint people.
00:03The rankings are no longer officially a thing, so with the spirit of this channel, screw it. We'll do it ourselves.
00:09We start with the Men's World Championship, held by Hangman Adam Page.
00:14Number one contender, Mark Briscoe.
00:16He beat MJF in the Tables and Tax match, therefore fulfilling Hangman's condition to earn the match.
00:22Number two on the list, the Bacons.
00:25We would have been in favor of that Warblow match that Tony Khan said was never actually on the cards.
00:32Give him the Yota Tsuji push, make him look important. I have faith they would have done it right.
00:36But, uh, yeah, it's not that much.
00:40Which is why the next two spots involve some plot development.
00:43I expect the Ops will lose those trios belts pretty soon, and they might be a little cranky when that happens.
00:49So spot number three, the match I want to come second, but Samoa Joe, the former champion.
00:55And spot four, not to diminish the former TNT champion, but Powerhouse Hobbs.
01:02Number five, the Golden Star, Kota Ibushi.
01:06How does he earn this spot on this list, you may find yourself asking?
01:10Well, I mean, he's the champion of our heart, and eternally worthy of the greatest competition the world can imagine.
01:17Get Paul White in the corner, and nothing can stop him.
01:21Book the match, come on, it'll main event full gear, no problem.
01:24Women's World Championship, currently held by Chris Statlander.
01:28Number one, the Toxic Spider, Thekla.
01:30Between the dynamite appearance on Hey E.W. and the excellent performances in the ring, yes, she deserves another chance at the top title.
01:41Number two, Riho.
01:43Keep her on TV, keep her in action.
01:46Defy the trolls, make them seethe.
01:49It's funny, but we like seeing Riho anyways, because she's great.
01:54Number three, Willow Nightingale.
01:56The story has been written here that it's going to be very interesting how the dynamic goes, especially with Chris not turning to the dark side.
02:06Not yet, anyway.
02:09I wouldn't mind seeing Texas' death between these women.
02:12Not that I actually want to willingly inflict pain on anyone in this case.
02:18But I'm just saying it would be kind of awesome, especially after the Street Fight team that they had done before.
02:26We love Willow, and yeah, the story writes itself there.
02:29That match absolutely could main event a pay-per-view.
02:33Number four, Jamie Hayter.
02:36The former champ is always going to be number one in our hearts.
02:40Okay, there's a lot of people in that spot, but roll with me.
02:44She's fantastic.
02:45We can't get enough of her, and we want to see her.
02:48Her and Chris will throw some bombs.
02:50That'll be a great match.
02:51And number five, similarly, a different kind of match, still good striking, Hikaru Shida against that.
03:00It's time of the renaissance for the 2019 Day 1s to have some shine, and I think it would be a great thing to have the first...
03:09...third.
03:17It's still long enough that I can just sigh, live with myself, that she was the third champion.
03:23It was Riho, it was Nyla, then it was Shida.
03:25Shame on me.
03:27Under the time limit.
03:28But I still want to see her when she gets back in the country.
03:31Apparently the visa issues are done.
03:34Shame on me not knowing the lore.
03:36But, aye, we still want to see her on TV.
03:40Here, the tag team championship, held by Brodito right now.
03:44Bandito and Brody King.
03:46Number one on the contendership list, we have the Young Bucks.
03:50They got that shady pin over Bandito on Dynamite, so technically, according to wrestling lore, they have a claim at a title match.
03:58Number two on the list, Jet Speed.
04:00We love Kevin Knight and Speedball Mike Bailey, but they keep coming up short, so they deserve another one-on-one...
04:10They deserve a one-on-one chance, I should say, against these champions, instead of being constantly placed in multi-person matches.
04:18Number three, they're on the roster page now, so it's technically not going off-board.
04:23They're grizzled young veterans, James Drake and the Bald Scouser, whose name is escaping me, and I'm not going to tab over to do it while I record.
04:34But, yeah, they're on the roster page.
04:36Bring them in, let them grit their teeth in front of Bandito and Brody King so they can bark at them.
04:42Number four, a little fun here, Deathrider Pucks.
04:46Can Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia get along?
04:50I've seen quite a few comments comparing them to young pets where you have to keep them in separate rooms and get them accustomed to each other.
05:00Cats, dogs, assorted things.
05:02Can they get old...
05:03Can...
05:04The dreaded freaking...
05:06Can they coexist?
05:07But for this one, I can handle it.
05:11And number five, Jurassic Express Redux.
05:14Yes, I expect they're going to be busy with the Bucks, but considering the Bucks are on the top of this list, I feel I might as well put Jurassic Express on here as well.
05:25We're thrilled that Jack Perry's back.
05:27We're thrilled that Luchasaurus is back and healthy.
05:31And I will not stop banging that drum.
05:35House of Torture.
05:36Telling you, the hand signal that the demand does looks a lot like the one suite.
05:40Here to talk about rankings for the yet-to-be-crowned Women's Tag Team Championships.
05:47Can't talk about power rankings yet, but I can throw out some contenders that I want to see make some noise in the tournament.
05:53Top of the list, final girls of Allie and Penelope Ford.
05:58Or Megabad.
06:00Megan Bain and Penelope Ford.
06:02Going back to the early days, again, of AEW, the people who made a mark, Penelope Ford in this case being the tie for both.
06:13But if Allie's coming back, I think it would be a worthy start to the division.
06:17At the very least, a worthy final.
06:20Similarly, number two on the list, Ty J.
06:22Between Ty Mello and Anna Jay, I did part of a video about we were there for their Rampage Street Fight that was fantastic.
06:32They would make good contenders.
06:34They have come forward enough, and we would love to see it.
06:38Number three on the list.
06:39These are not in any particular order, but just how they go.
06:44Mina and Partner.
06:45We said we want Mina for tag division, and we were serious.
06:49We think they could go all the way.
06:51Maybe Tony's done with her break by the time that comes.
06:54Maybe it's somebody else like Harley Cameron.
06:57It'll be interesting.
06:59Mercedes and Partner comes next.
07:03Further down the list, because I don't expect this to be a victory.
07:07I expect this to be furthering, because we know she's not dropping that belt until WrestleDream at the earliest.
07:13But in the recording series, we'll get to that.
07:16Similarly, well, I was going to put Athena on here.
07:21I'll mention her honorably, because she could be here just as well to start the descent to her dropping her belt finally and making AEW full-time appearances.
07:31The Women of Madness, Sky Blue, and Julia Hart.
07:36While Thekla's going for the big belt, I would love to see the younger crew make a dent and make a name for themselves in this division.
07:45By starting off the tag team division with a bite.
07:50Does that really work?
07:52Not really.
07:53But to keep the thread of Silk alive, the Spidercrushers, I dubbed them, of Jamie Hader and Queen Amanata.
08:02They hate Thekla, and yeah, this is threadbare, but I think that's enough of a reason for them to tie together and rampage through the tournament.
08:11They're both great dynamic hitters, and we've seen what thrown-together tag teams can do.
08:17I'm sure there's some great stuff being cooked up, but just putting together some people who have common enemies and love hitting hard.
08:25For the Unified Championship held by Kazuchika Okada.
08:29Number one, Orange Cassidy.
08:31They came back this week on Dynamite and had an interaction.
08:36The former Chaos member, Orange Cassidy, as it was pointed out by Excalibur.
08:40We want to try elevating them to the main event scene.
08:43We have ourselves a main event belt that they're telling us it should be.
08:49There's some ready-made lore and ready-made credibility with Cassidy, the former international champion.
08:55I think this would be a great challenge for Okada.
08:58Okada, which I do kind of think we're getting hit against Tekeshta in the Dome on the fourth, so that is why Tekeshta is not on this list, for one thing.
09:10Number two, Darby Allen.
09:11You want to make a guy?
09:12Like I said, main event scene.
09:16This is a great way to elevate Darby Allen to that main event scene without having to mess up whatever booking is on the way for Will Ospreay going into Wembley next year.
09:25Number three on the power list, Roderick Strong.
09:29Based off the strength of the match against Jon Moxley and his reluctance to conglomerate,
09:40a change of attitude might be coming up for Roderick Strong,
09:43or he could just go after the unified title for the heck of it and continue to borderline conglomerate.
09:51Either way, Okada against Roddy on a big stage.
09:55I forgot to search if we saw this one,
09:57but it still should be good as long as both people have their assy little boots on.
10:03Number four, Ricochet.
10:05It turns out that the green screen recording is out of sync,
10:11so you cannot see the Lucha Underground Prince Puma shirt that I'm wearing,
10:15but I am.
10:17Ricochet is doing great work.
10:19I would say he should get the trio's titles if it was not for...
10:24Actually, no.
10:25That's why they demand and spoiler is on the trio's titles list higher.
10:30That's why Ricochet is down so far here against Okada.
10:33We were in the building for the match at World's End.
10:36It was really nice, but they could do better.
10:40Number five, Roosh.
10:43The renewed focus with LFI now that Sammy Gabar is in there.
10:47I don't know if they're going to keep it down in Ring of Honor,
10:51but, I mean, it's just common knowledge and common sense.
10:56As dangerous those words are, I mean,
10:59you mess with the bull to get the hearns.
11:06And I will have you know I just got a very, very strange look from Owen next to me.
11:11But, point stands.
11:13To get the hearns.
11:15This time for the TBS Championship,
11:17currently held by Mercedes Manet.
11:19Say it properly, not money.
11:21Not moan.
11:24Manet.
11:26Number one on the contender list,
11:28Megan Bain.
11:29She's occupied with a lot of tag stuff,
11:32and they haven't had this match yet,
11:34which makes me think they are saving it for a reason.
11:37Remember that WrestleDream will be the first title defense for Mercedes
11:40where it's reasonable that she can lose,
11:43because she will have broken Jade Cargill's record at that point.
11:46Number two on the list,
11:49somebody else who has history,
11:51I shouldn't say somebody else,
11:52somebody who does have history with Mercedes,
11:55Willow Nightingale.
11:57They have history going back to the New Japan Strong Championship.
12:00They have faced each other in AEW.
12:03Their paths have crossed enough that this is history.
12:07This would be a big deal.
12:09Is Willow past this?
12:10Not really, because Mercedes is a big star and she holds it.
12:13There could be an argument that Willow is more destined for the main title
12:18now that Chris Statlander has it,
12:20but I don't really think so.
12:22I wouldn't mind seeing buddies each with a belt.
12:26Number three is one of the few off-board reaches,
12:29King Kota,
12:31a.k.a. Dakota Kai for a lot of you.
12:34The captain of Team Kick,
12:36formerly known as Eevee.
12:38Hopefully I found the picture I can put up here from the old gold days.
12:42But, yeah, she's still a free agent,
12:45and I'm not saying she should come in and win,
12:48but I think it wouldn't be a bad title defense.
12:52Number four,
12:53somebody else who,
12:54not off the board altogether,
12:56but is currently off the board,
12:59Ruby Soho.
13:00Let Taz warm up those pipes
13:02and have the new mother if she's ready.
13:05I've seen that she was at least training some,
13:07but always good to have him with Big Pop,
13:11and it is a good spot to slot her in
13:15to be reintroduced at the TBS championship level.
13:19Ruby Ruby,
13:20Ruby Soho.
13:22Number five,
13:24you might not know her,
13:26and yes,
13:26this is kind of hacky,
13:27but I didn't either after the promo she cut in Defy.
13:31Marina Shafir.
13:32She looks like all of this tutelage from Moxley
13:37and Under the Death Riders
13:38is indeed paying off,
13:40and again,
13:42with the way story's going,
13:44she'll probably have a shot at the world title
13:47and Chris Statlander before this,
13:50but she would be a credible TBS championship holder
13:54to add to the prestige of the group
13:57and make them stay a threat
13:58after Mox no longer has the title.
14:00Going into the beginning of year six
14:04for the Proto Star Kyle Fletcher
14:06and his TNT championship.
14:08Number one,
14:09it's Hologram.
14:10He's got the match in Hollywood next week.
14:12We know this,
14:13so yeah,
14:14this is a cheat.
14:16Can't wait to see El Clon.
14:18Arez is awesome.
14:19Oh,
14:20what was that?
14:20There was some corruption on the audio.
14:22Disregard the last few seconds or so.
14:25Going on,
14:26number two,
14:27Death Rider Daniel Garcia.
14:28The run with the TNT championship in 2024
14:32was underwhelming,
14:34so I think with this new change of attitude,
14:37things can move pretty fast.
14:39Number three,
14:40somebody I'd like to see move at all,
14:43Ace Austin.
14:44I don't recall any injury reports,
14:47and he's just kind of not been there,
14:49so what gives?
14:50I know people want to see him
14:52with the Bang Bang Gang.
14:53I want to see him period.
14:55I also want to see the Bang Bang Gang,
14:57aka Bullet Club Gold.
15:00Are there Japanese hand ties
15:01that are keeping you from progressing with the faction?
15:04I know they're injured constantly,
15:06but come on,
15:07new members,
15:08please?
15:10Number four on the list
15:12is one of the few double appearances,
15:15Orange Cassidy.
15:16He's also on the unified title list
15:18as a former international title holder,
15:21but I also want to see him build
15:22a Grand Slam career,
15:25and you've got to do that
15:26by winning other belts,
15:27so Kyle Fletcher against Orange Cassidy,
15:30that right there sounds like
15:32it would be great.
15:33I think Cassidy,
15:34based on that interference
15:36with the Don Callis family,
15:38he's going to be going against one of them,
15:39and I don't think you can go wrong
15:41with either title holder.
15:42Number five,
15:44for a long time,
15:46it was Scorpio Sky,
15:48but then I figured,
15:49no,
15:50Anthony Bowens couldn't do it for so long,
15:52so much he got frustrated
15:54to kick out old man Billy,
15:56who,
15:56maybe he's going back to the Fed,
15:58is that why he's getting written off
16:00for Jerry Lynn?
16:01But,
16:01yeah,
16:02if the best wrestler alive
16:03could do it where
16:04Anthony Bowens couldn't,
16:06I'm putting him on the list
16:07just for the humor of it.
16:09Aside from the fact
16:10we like both guys,
16:12but,
16:13it would at least be a development
16:14going somewhere,
16:15and,
16:16when you have title for title,
16:20it kind of underwhelms things,
16:22but that doesn't seem to be
16:24an obstacle to booking.
16:26Yeah,
16:27we have Brodito,
16:28the Renirvana World Championship
16:29and tag title holder,
16:31but,
16:31I would rather not have
16:33double champions.
16:35Now,
16:35the Trio's Championships,
16:37currently held by the Ops,
16:38Samoa Joe,
16:39Powerhouse Hobbs,
16:41and Katsuyura,
16:42I had my brain put back in,
16:43Shibata.
16:44Number one on the list,
16:46The Demand.
16:47Give them the titles.
16:49Ricochet,
16:51Bishop Kahn,
16:52Toliona.
16:53They are the goods.
16:56As is Josh Woods
16:57in Ring of Honor,
16:58but even more so.
17:00They need those belts,
17:01he needs,
17:02Ricochet needs gold.
17:03All three of them
17:04have been great.
17:06How's the torture?
17:08Number two on the list,
17:10Eddie Kingston,
17:11Hook,
17:12and a returning Ortiz.
17:15I know how much
17:15Eddie loves Monkey,
17:17and I wouldn't mind
17:18seeing him back on the screen.
17:20This could be
17:21a really nice way.
17:23I don't really expect
17:24it's going to happen,
17:25but I'm just saying,
17:26I wouldn't mind
17:27seeing him back in the mix.
17:29Number three,
17:31The Hurt Syndicate,
17:32with new member.
17:34I don't know who.
17:36I don't know if those
17:37Kevin Knight,
17:38FU Speedball things
17:40are going to end up
17:41rubbing off.
17:43But I'm just saying,
17:45there has been chatter
17:46that they're going to
17:47get a new member.
17:48Get that in there,
17:50and they are instantly
17:51competitors
17:51for those championships.
17:54Somewhat similarly,
17:56Bang Bang Gang,
17:57with new member.
17:58Is it Ace Austin?
18:01Is it someone
18:02coming back
18:02from injury?
18:04Is it taking a leap
18:06and actually doing
18:07something with
18:07Bullet Club Gold
18:08instead of letting
18:09it languishing?
18:11Cardblade and
18:12Juice Board
18:13have been retired
18:14for a new
18:15serious angle,
18:16which I know
18:17Juice wants to do,
18:18but we can be
18:20serious with somebody
18:21new and go for gold.
18:23We do still want
18:24to see it.
18:25Fifth on the list,
18:28Don Callis Family
18:29Collection.
18:30Because they need
18:31more gold,
18:32there's enough members,
18:33give them some
18:33more credibility.
18:35I would not mind
18:36seeing any combination
18:38of Josh Alexander,
18:40Trent Verretta,
18:41Lance Archer,
18:45Rocky,
18:47I'm trying to remember
18:47who else is in it,
18:49Echocero.
18:49Come on,
18:52you don't need
18:52him getting a belt
18:53for Don to come out
18:54and have another reason
18:55to keep talking?
