00:00Hello everyone, my name is Susie, I work for Hahav Keredigian, a Hospice at Home charity
00:11and I want to tell you about a really important event that we would like you to come along
00:15to. It's taking place on Wednesday, October 22nd between 10.30am and 3pm at Kapil Gozon
00:23in Reda Fenlin and it's a breast cancer awareness event and it's really important you can come
00:28along to this because there's going to be lots of different organisations there from
00:32Macmillan to Breast Cancer Now to Copperfield to Health Boards Cancer Support Services all
00:40brought together in one place to give you information, advice and support. You can also meet women
00:46who have been through the experience of breast cancer, those who have gone through treatment
00:50and those who are adapting to life after treatment as well. And one of the things that we're doing
00:56we're decorating the hall and as you can see from the display, our textile group have been
01:04very very busy recycling old bras and creating some amazing new designs. So we've got bras
01:12made out of maps, sweet wrappers, bumblebees and I'm happy to model the latest which I hope
01:18will catch on, the sunflower bra. Okay, but remember there is a serious message behind this.
01:24Behind every bra there is a story and we must keep raising the message about the importance
01:30of screening and early detection. It can save lives and in rural areas there's still a big
01:36health disparity. The rates, the survival rates are not as good. So come along on the 22nd,
01:42be informed, get some advice and support and meet other women as well. Thank you.
