Transcript
00:00That's the Indo-Tibetan border police at 7,135 meters up in the sky atop Mount Nun in JNK.
00:12For the first time in history, in August 14, 2025, a fearless 14-member all-women team known as the
00:18Heem Virangnas for their bravery etched their names in the records of mountaineering by conquering
00:23Mount Nun. They planted the tricolor of tears in their eyes, voices choked with pride.
00:28But this feat didn't come easy. For weeks, the team trained in the harsh terrain of Ladakh,
00:33braving frigid cold and thin air. They faced altitude sickness, unpredictable storms, ice cliffs,
00:39deep crevasses and near vertical icefalls. But none of this is new for the ITBP.
00:45Mountain climbing and breaking new ground is their tradition. The force has a legacy of conquering
00:50Himalayan peaks. Their tally now includes over 200 Himalayan peaks, a testament to their endurance
00:56and legacy. Now, this all-women team is targeting the ultimate prize, Mount Everest, carrying the
01:01legacy and hope of rewriting history, one summit at a time.
