About 150,000 Malaysians, or 0.88% of the 17 million eligible for the Budi Madani RON95 (Budi95) subsidy, have yet to update their 12-digit MyKad number on their driving licences, says Transport Minister Anthony Loke.
The Budi95 scheme, he added, ensures subsidies benefit Malaysians and helps the government save billions.
Loke also noted a rise of 10,000 daily in driving licence renewals since the programme began.
