00:00My entire daily routine. How much time do you have? Hey, I'm Ben Greenfield. I'm an author,
00:04podcaster, coach, and so-called biohacker. Very first thing I do when I wake up, I use
00:11kind of an Ayurvedic type of cleansing protocol where I do coconut oil pulling and tongue scraping,
00:18which is good for the oral biome. Once a week, I even derma roller my face and put on one of those
00:22funky-looking red light face masks. I listen to something emotionally uplifting or a Bible or a
00:30sermon or something that just kind of fills my mind with God and spiritual things while I'm tooling
00:36about my morning. When I wake up, I warm up. Stretching, foam rolling. My entire family,
00:42like clockwork, waits for me in the living room and we have a giant, glorious morning family huddle
00:48at 7 a.m. We hug and we hang out and we read together and we talk about the day and pray.
00:56It's typically after that family huddle that I'll actually go hit the gym. Typically until about 2 p.m.
01:01I am just laser focused. Four hours of just deep work. Around 4 p.m. I hit an ice bath. That's kind
01:10of like how I jumpstart the second part of the day. At 7 p.m., like clockwork, our entire family meets
01:15in the kitchen. I get out the guitar and we sing a song together and we say a prayer and then we dive
01:21into dinner. We all meet in my kid's bedroom at around 9 p.m. and we sing another song together
01:30and we pray together and we read together. Typically asleep by around 10, 10.30 p.m. I once again put on
01:37my sleep princess mask and my earplugs and all the funky stuff I took off in the morning and day
01:42begins afresh the next day.
